I’m happy to feed your birds, reptiles or rodents too. I’m currently working part time so, I’ll have plenty of time to care for and play with your animals. I’m also happy to taxi them to doggy day care or the vet. House sitting also available. I treat animals like my own. If they’ll let want to play or lay, it’s fine with me. About: I'm a licensed small-animal veterinarian retired from 40 years of clinical work. I'm comfortable with pets of all needs, including medical treatments. I wish to continue service to animals through providing daily care. I love being around animals of all types, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds, reptiles, fish, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, etc. I also have a wealth of training experience based on positive reinforcement. I'm retired from clinical settings (working under my maiden name Carol Hansen, DVM), and still maintain an active lifestyle. I'm free most days. My routine is very flexible. I spend time with my own 2 dogs and 5 feral cats. I love travel and seeing wildlife worldwide. I have done pet care for my own and others' pets for most of my life. I'm very honest, trustworthy, and conscientious in making sure animals thrive in a healthy environment.

About: I have had experience with puppies that need a lot of love and training as well as older dogs who are experiencing dementia that need extra tender love and care with needs such as feeding ,pottying ,medication needs, gentle re-direction and attention. I am a happily retired animal lover. I am able to give complete love and care to your dear pets. I am proud to say that I have long time clients that are very happy with my services. I will stay in your home and make sure your pets needs are well taken care of. I will make sure they have play time and cuddle time as well . I moved to the Paso Robles area approximately 3 years ago from the Dallas, Tx area where I provided dogvacay services for 4 years. I am no longer able to watch no more than one small dog or cat from my own home, but would still love to work with your pets in your home, while you are away at work or on vacation. I am however able to watch cats in my home! I'm able to check in on your living pets throughout the day and take your pup/pups on long walks. And spend quality time with her/him while you are away. Then of course there is belly scratching time or perhaps a game of catch. Your pup is sure to be spoiled by me! Also I am able to feed and water any other pets you may have while I am there. I would love to meet with you and your precious pup, for a walk around the block! I accept all types of doggies, kitties and such!! If you book with me, I will send you updates by skype/text/video and pictures. Whatever your preference. I just want you and your little one to feel safe and secure. We just adore animals of all kinds in our loving home. I am retired with adult children that live in another state, so I jabe plenty of free time to look in on your pet family! My pets are super friendly and adapt well to other animals, as we have been caring for other animals since we've had them. About: As the token "animal lover" friend and family member, I've been the go-to for all things caretaker since I was young. It's my pleasure and joy to spend time with animals; I'm extremely attentive, love to give pets and cuddle. As a pet owner myself, I always worry if the sitters I have to watch my babies are going to be attentive enough and really ensure that they feel loved-- so that's always my MO. I currently work from home with a super flexible schedule, so I'm easily able to accommodate last minute requests as well as regularly scheduled visits for your fur babies! I'm a cuddler, and love to go on multiple daily walks myself, so you never have to worry about me just "checking the box" and leaving. When taking care of another's fur baby, I always strive to meet the animal where they are and ensure that they feel as comfortable as possible as I know missing mom and dad can be hard and produce anxiety. I have a deep passion for animals, and it translates through the way I interact with them! As I pursue my masters in psychology online, I like to fill my time helping out families as I raise money for my education! Currently, I have live online classes monday 3-9:30 and I am a clinical intern in the mental health field. Those work hours very, but I like to keep them strictly to Tuesdays and Thursdays.
