“Huina and her family were amazing! This is my second time using Huina’s service to care after my German Shepherd puppy Luna and I can’t believe how happy and excited my puppy was to see Huina again! Luna loves Huina! I reached out to Huina late on Sunday evening asking if she could sit Luna early Monday morning? Huina responded so quickly with a yes! I’m so grateful to Huina for her professionalism, love, affection and attention to detail. She is regularly sending updates and videos and pictures which made my day so perfect! It’s the best feeling knowing my puppy is in loving, caring hands with lots of playtime, beautiful back yard to play in and personal interaction with the family. Luna looked like she spent the day at Disneyland! She was so happy! Thank you Huina for all your love! We appreciate you! 🙏❤️”

“Allen was great! Communication was outstanding and photos of my pet while I was away was very reassuring! 10/10 will recommend. I will definitely be booking with Allen again!”

“My Nala is really enjoying her stay. It’s great see her being social with other dogs. My fur baby walked away from me without any goodbye. Emily was amazing it’s great to have her. Pictures and videos were provided. Nalas tail was wagging in every video. Thank you”

“Ana has done a great job watching our dog Coco! Ana is very polite and accommodating. She responds quickly to questions and inquiries and is flexible when it comes to bookings for dog care. I highly recommend her if you live in the Upland/Rancho Cucamonga area and are in need of dog care!”

“Mara and Shane are always wonderful with our pets. They are our first choice when we need sitters. They were gracious enough to squeeze us in for a last minute need. Thank you!!”

“Our snowball has a great time! He’s a fence jumper so I was worried at first, but Diana explained how they’d handle him and give him good yard time while avoiding the chance he’d jump the fence.”

“Shelby & Scott were great. Very quick to respond to messages in the pre-booking process. They sent pics and updates throughout our dog's stay with them. Would definitely recommend them and we will be repeat customers.”

“Paul and his wife Lisa are such wonderful sitters. I felt so comfortable leaving Cooper in their care. It didn’t take long for Cooper to warm up to Paul and Lisa. Their home was the perfect place for Cooper to run around and have fun. I received updates through his stay that I was very grateful for. I highly recommend Paul and Lisa!”

“Just completed my first Rover booking since moving to California, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ashley took amazing care of my fur baby, Parker, while I was away. As a dog mom, I was definitely nervous leaving him for the first time, but she made the entire process so much easier by sending regular updates and photos to reassure me he was doing great. You can truly tell she cares about the pets she watches. She even left a sweet little note in Parker’s bag thanking me for trusting her with him, which was such a thoughtful touch. I’m so grateful for the care and kindness she showed, and I will absolutely keep her in mind for future bookings. Highly recommend!”

“Left my dachshund, Asher, for 3 days of boarding with Lesly due to flying out of town for a family reunion over the weekend. I have never left Asher overnight besides leaving him with my parents for a similar length trip, so was a little nervous leaving him for 3 days and without my parents to watch him since they were going to the reunion as well. Fortunately, we found Lesly very close to our home which made it very convenient to pick up and drop Asher off. She made sure to send multiple updates throughout the day and made her home a comfortable stay for Asher. He really looked like he enjoyed his time here and was well taken care of. I will definitely board Asher again with Lesly for future needs and would recommend her to take care of your dog.”

“Frances, took care of our dog like she was hers. She asked questions to make sure that our dog would be comfortable. She would send Daily pictures and videos. Overall I highly recommend France’s.”

“Jane and Ray are the Greatest. I always feel so comfortable and secure leaving my Sweetie with them. They give excellant care and love to her and Sweetie is so happy there like a second home. They are my go to boarder any time I need to be away.”

“I had a wonderful experience with our pet sitter! She originally agreed to keep my dog overnight, and when my plans unexpectedly changed and i needed an extra day, she graciously agreed without hesitation. It meant so much to me and allowed my family to relax and enjoy our time together. My dog was well cared for, and I truly appreciated her flexibility and kindness. Highly recommend!”

“Analisa was amazing. She cared for my girls so well and updated me throughout the day. I had a minor event where I was unable to get my dogs for two days and she was super understanding + accommodating. She brought me a lot of peace of mind. Thank you so much!”

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
