About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. Whether it be training and riding horses, feeding chickens, to raising puppies and kittens! My love for animals is my drive! I have experience with taking care of my past precious dog Mia, who had diabetes, and giving her insulin shots nightly. So if your fur baby has any specific needs or accommodations needed, just let me know and I’ll try my best to accommodate! I currently have a pretty flexible schedule, so unless I am out of town, or just not available, I can house sit, walk, and just overall provide for your bestfriend in the best ways!! About: I’ve taken care of my dog for 13 years which helped me gain experience. My neighbors have also allowed me to babysit, walk, and feed their pets. I am currently playing for a local soccer team that allows me to have a flexible schedule. I am free most hours during the week and on the weekends. When visiting a pet at a clients home I make sure to let the dog get used to me first beforehand. If the yard is fenced, I would love to play outside with them. I would also give lots of pets and cuddles if they enjoy it.

About: I love all animals. Personally I have helped take care of every type of animal from cats, pups, senior dogs to chickens. I have plenty of experience caring for young animals and sick animals before which equips me to administer their medicine or follow strict schedules as needed. About: I have helped my best friend who is a breeder for a couple years take care of her liters of pups and adult dogs. ♥️ I can watch or do drop in in the evenings after my regular job or on weekends. I can also do the same on some holidays. I have a fenced in back yard and a very friendly golden doodle. I am also comfortable in a clients home if that is what they prefer.

About: I have been through a one on one dog training session and also continue to work with trainers to better communicate with our sweet friends. I have a flexible schedule which I make for myself. This means that I will be able to schedule time to visit with your pup. When introducing myself to a new pet I will allow the animal to approach me. I take things slow. I have learned yelling is not usually the best way to resolve an issue with dogs. Yelling is the dogs encouragement. Instead I approach with a calm demeanor. Through training I have learned that it's best to allow new dogs the chance to establish who is in charge while monitoring the pups' actions and interceding when the situation seems to be escalading. This said, I believe the best approach to introducing dogs is to make sure both dogs are leashed. In my own home, play time is supervised for a few minutes to make sure that both dogs are eager to play. If it seems like one is not up to playing then I will separate the dogs. I am firm but not mean. Just as you would with a child when I give a command I will stand firm in my command till it is obeyed. I immediately reward my dogs when the command has been followed. I definitely treat my dogs as my children. They get lots and lots of kisses, and are most definitely spoiled. I always try to do fun things with them like taking them for rides or going on hikes. They get birthday parties and specialty birthday cookies. They also get gifts for holidays like Christmas and Valentine's Day. They go to the vet every year for their shots and examine. They get the medicine they need to keep them from heart worms and fleas. They also take supplements to help with their digestion and anxiety (both of my pups are rescues and have had some difficult experiences).

About: I love animals, and have cared for all types of pets all my life. I will love your pets and give them the greatest of care, as if they are my own. I work from home and have a very open schedule. I also have a car and a strong work ethic so when I make a commitment to be somewhere, I am there. I prefer to come to the clients home because I know the animal will be happier in its home environment. I like to give lots of pets, love and attention. I clean up any accidents, make sure water and food bowls are in good shape and provide whatever service the Pet Parent has requested. I try to leave with the pet looking forward to its next visit from me.

About: 4+ years of experience. Currently employed in pet care! I have experience from training a new puppy to senior care requiring multiple medications including insulin as well as assistance with disabled pets. I’m currently working full time from 7-5 with an hour lunch break in between! open to working around what is best for you when scheduling! About: My love for animals began as early as I can remember. I have always had a deep reverence for all life around me. I'm currently a student at UNA studying environmental science and sustainability. I hope to one day have my own farm. I've had a wide variety of pets over the years; gerbils, Guinea pigs, a box turtle, and many of my friends growing up had dogs as well. My first true animal companion was our family dog, Logan, who was a rescued Golden Retriever/ German Shepard mix. He passed away at age 15 when I was 13 on Christmas morning (no joke- of all days..). My family took a long time to get another dog because we felt that no dog could ever top Logan. My parents did get another dog since, a rambunctious and loving beagle mix named Molly. I have also had an orange tabby cat named Señor Platáno of which whom I allowed to be indoor and outdoor while I went to school at Kent State University, but he was tragically hit by a car. To this day I still think of him more as a dog the way we were so close. I haven’t been in the right place financially to have a dog of my own but at my most recent job I was able to interact with dogs on a daily basis and it always made my day. I decided to sign up for Rover because I am currently unemployed and enrolled at UNA so I thought what better way to earn some side money than to become a dog walker/sitter. I look forward to meeting as many furry friends as I can and I will truly cherish every encounter I am fortunate enough to have. Thank you. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is practically wide open. I will be resuming my education at UNA in the Fall, but all of my classes will be online so my schedule shouldn't change much. I live in Florence and I like to stay local with my hobbies so I’m not usually ever far from the Shoals area. Dog and cat care will fit well with my schedule. Pet care at a clients home will always be carried out with honor and reverence towards the clients, their home and their pets. I was a boyscout growing up and my loving parents taught me well to respect people and animals so when I leave a home I will leave it in the same condition or better than when I arrived. Your pet will get my undivided attention and care as I will treat them like I would my own, with love and respect.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs most of my life! I currently own two giant babies (German Shepard) and can handle everything in between! About: I have grown up around animals, such as dogs, cats, and even snakes. Family and friends trust me to watch their babies for them. I have also trained my dogs and pick up after them if they have accidents in the house. I travel for work with my dad, however, we are taking some time off. That leaves me with a bunch of time to watch my fur babies and and yours too! At home, I take the pups on walks and feed/water them. Dogs make messes so I also clean those up and take them on rides if they are good doggies for the day. They also get stimulation, play sessions, and tons of love (of course!).
