“Jonatan is our first choice for a sitter. Him and our dog get along really well, and our dog just lights up when Jonatan comes to the house. He’s extremely nice, we feel our dog is always his top priority when he’s sitting for us, and he always gives us updates.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, and even the occasional chicken. As a longtime pet owner myself, I understand how much our animals mean to us. I treat every pet I care for like part of the family, with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. Whether it’s a daily walk or a weekend stay, you can count on me to keep your furry (or feathered!) friend safe, happy, and loved. I’m available for midday walks, check-ins, and evening visits. I also offer overnight house sitting if you're looking for someone to keep your pets company overnight. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by sticking to their usual routine, feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I respect each pet’s personality and any specific instructions you provide. If I’m doing overnight care, I maintain a calm and cozy environment, making sure your pet gets attention, companionship, and consistency while you’re away.

“Awesome!! Annabelle took great care of my 2 cats while I was on vacation. I am so thankful I found her. She kept me updated the entire time by sending me photos with little messages letting me know my cats were doing great. I was able to enjoy my vacation stress free like it should be. Thanks Annabelle!”

“Vivian was great! She took great care of my kitten Othello. I got plenty of pictures and he always seemed happy. Regular updates on his food and health situation, as well as his behaviors. She even went above and beyond with trying to walk him, knowing that I usually do so!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. Whether it be training and riding horses, feeding chickens, to raising puppies and kittens! My love for animals is my drive! I have experience with taking care of my past precious dog Mia, who had diabetes, and giving her insulin shots nightly. So if your fur baby has any specific needs or accommodations needed, just let me know and I’ll try my best to accommodate! I currently have a pretty flexible schedule, so unless I am out of town, or just not available, I can house sit, walk, and just overall provide for your bestfriend in the best ways!! I don’t believe in a punitive approach, but more of trying to help my pets to understand what Is necessary. Wether it be potty training, to manners with guest. My dog’s happiness and comfort is my top priority, and to me, your dog’s happiness and comfort is just as important

“Taylor did a great job dropping in for my dog Buster over Memorial Day weekend. Buster has some anxiety but he eventually warmed up to her after a few visits. Taylor did a great job keeping me informed of how he was doing. I will definitely use Taylor for future trips out of town.”

About: I’ve taken care of my dog for 13 years which helped me gain experience. My neighbors have also allowed me to babysit, walk, and feed their pets. I am currently playing for a local soccer team that allows me to have a flexible schedule. I am free most hours during the week and on the weekends. When visiting a pet at a clients home I make sure to let the dog get used to me first beforehand. If the yard is fenced, I would love to play outside with them. I would also give lots of pets and cuddles if they enjoy it.

About: I love all animals. Personally I have helped take care of every type of animal from cats, pups, senior dogs to chickens. I have plenty of experience caring for young animals and sick animals before which equips me to administer their medicine or follow strict schedules as needed. I moved back to the area recently and currently do not have any other responsibilities besides my own lovable pets. I’d love to make time to care for yours too! I have two energetic, friendly huskies that would love to be friends! After caring for them, I am used to energetic, high maintenance and stubborn dogs. I am not afraid to befriend any animal and take them for walks, feed them or pet sit for your four legged children as well I am very communicative and have sent regular updates to previous clients so they can rest assured their animals are well taken care of. Let your next vacation, trip out of town or long work day be without worry! I’m happy to answer all questions and work out the perfect routine to fit your needs.

About: I have helped my best friend who is a breeder for a couple years take care of her liters of pups and adult dogs. ♥️ I can watch or do drop in in the evenings after my regular job or on weekends. I can also do the same on some holidays. I have a fenced in back yard and a very friendly golden doodle. I am also comfortable in a clients home if that is what they prefer.

About: I have been through a one on one dog training session and also continue to work with trainers to better communicate with our sweet friends. I have a flexible schedule which I make for myself. This means that I will be able to schedule time to visit with your pup. When introducing myself to a new pet I will allow the animal to approach me. I take things slow. I have learned yelling is not usually the best way to resolve an issue with dogs. Yelling is the dogs encouragement. Instead I approach with a calm demeanor. Through training I have learned that it's best to allow new dogs the chance to establish who is in charge while monitoring the pups' actions and interceding when the situation seems to be escalading. This said, I believe the best approach to introducing dogs is to make sure both dogs are leashed. In my own home, play time is supervised for a few minutes to make sure that both dogs are eager to play. If it seems like one is not up to playing then I will separate the dogs. I am firm but not mean. Just as you would with a child when I give a command I will stand firm in my command till it is obeyed. I immediately reward my dogs when the command has been followed. I definitely treat my dogs as my children. They get lots and lots of kisses, and are most definitely spoiled. I always try to do fun things with them like taking them for rides or going on hikes. They get birthday parties and specialty birthday cookies. They also get gifts for holidays like Christmas and Valentine's Day. They go to the vet every year for their shots and examine. They get the medicine they need to keep them from heart worms and fleas. They also take supplements to help with their digestion and anxiety (both of my pups are rescues and have had some difficult experiences).

About: I love animals, and have cared for all types of pets all my life. I will love your pets and give them the greatest of care, as if they are my own. I work from home and have a very open schedule. I also have a car and a strong work ethic so when I make a commitment to be somewhere, I am there. I prefer to come to the clients home because I know the animal will be happier in its home environment. I like to give lots of pets, love and attention. I clean up any accidents, make sure water and food bowls are in good shape and provide whatever service the Pet Parent has requested. I try to leave with the pet looking forward to its next visit from me.

About: 4+ years of experience. Currently employed in pet care! I have experience from training a new puppy to senior care requiring multiple medications including insulin as well as assistance with disabled pets. I’m currently working full time from 7-5 with an hour lunch break in between! open to working around what is best for you when scheduling! Unfortunately I live in an apartment at the moment with nothing fenced in. I would love to still care for your babies, my home just may not be best!

About: My love for animals began as early as I can remember. I have always had a deep reverence for all life around me. I'm currently a student at UNA studying environmental science and sustainability. I hope to one day have my own farm. I've had a wide variety of pets over the years; gerbils, Guinea pigs, a box turtle, and many of my friends growing up had dogs as well. My first true animal companion was our family dog, Logan, who was a rescued Golden Retriever/ German Shepard mix. He passed away at age 15 when I was 13 on Christmas morning (no joke- of all days..). My family took a long time to get another dog because we felt that no dog could ever top Logan. My parents did get another dog since, a rambunctious and loving beagle mix named Molly. I have also had an orange tabby cat named Señor Platáno of which whom I allowed to be indoor and outdoor while I went to school at Kent State University, but he was tragically hit by a car. To this day I still think of him more as a dog the way we were so close. I haven’t been in the right place financially to have a dog of my own but at my most recent job I was able to interact with dogs on a daily basis and it always made my day. I decided to sign up for Rover because I am currently unemployed and enrolled at UNA so I thought what better way to earn some side money than to become a dog walker/sitter. I look forward to meeting as many furry friends as I can and I will truly cherish every encounter I am fortunate enough to have. Thank you. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is practically wide open. I will be resuming my education at UNA in the Fall, but all of my classes will be online so my schedule shouldn't change much. I live in Florence and I like to stay local with my hobbies so I’m not usually ever far from the Shoals area. Dog and cat care will fit well with my schedule. Pet care at a clients home will always be carried out with honor and reverence towards the clients, their home and their pets. I was a boyscout growing up and my loving parents taught me well to respect people and animals so when I leave a home I will leave it in the same condition or better than when I arrived. Your pet will get my undivided attention and care as I will treat them like I would my own, with love and respect.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs most of my life! I currently own two giant babies (German Shepard) and can handle everything in between! Some days or weeks, your best friend just needs some extra love and attention. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for animals of various sizes and personalities! Let me care for your best friends, like I would care for my own! During the Summer time, I have open availability. Any day, any time! Tell me what you need, and I will accommodate! Weekends or weekday I can do it all! I am able to work with difficult or aggressive pets, as I happen to own two of them. I can go on walks, play in a yard or just cuddle on the couch. Even though I am a dog owner, I have some experience caring for cats as well!

About: I have grown up around animals, such as dogs, cats, and even snakes. Family and friends trust me to watch their babies for them. I have also trained my dogs and pick up after them if they have accidents in the house. I travel for work with my dad, however, we are taking some time off. That leaves me with a bunch of time to watch my fur babies and and yours too! At home, I take the pups on walks and feed/water them. Dogs make messes so I also clean those up and take them on rides if they are good doggies for the day. They also get stimulation, play sessions, and tons of love (of course!).

“Lisa is such a kind and caring person, and her sweet nature draws pets of all types. Whenever she comes to my house, my introverted cat and extroverted dogs flock to her with joy, and she showers them with love and attention. Lisa is also DEPENDABLE. If she says she is going to be at your house at a certain time, she is there. This trait alone gives me total peace of mind, knowing that if I am out of town and she is caring for my pups and cat - they are well taken care of in the same manner that I would care for them. Honestly, I can't recommend Lisa enough and feel thrilled to know someone so kind and reliable, who I trust completely to care for my fur-babies.”

Jaycie B.

“Austen is a huge animal lover! He's been a responsible pet owner for the majority of his life and demonstrates his love for animals with his commitment to vegetarianism. He is punctual, respectable, flexible, and easygoing. Overall Austen's a great guy and you can trust him 100% with taking care of your furry friends ?”

Emma E.
“Emma has a big heart for taking care of animals. She loves dogs and knows a lot about walking them and keeping them safe and happy on their walks. She genuinely loves and cares for them. She is always kind to my dogs and follows my wants and wishes for what they can eat and when they need to go out and come inside. She is very educated about how to handle big dogs and works well with them. She also has experience with older dogs and is patient and gentle with them. I love to see her interacting with animals. I trust her.”
