About: I have taken care of animals since I was 7 years old and professionally since I was 18 years old. I love ALL animals. I have experience with the following animals: Bearded Dragons, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and Birds. I know how to administer shots and give medications orally to Cats, Dogs, and Ferrets. I believe that pets aren't pets - they are family. I live in a house with my husband, 4 month old baby, and 2 kitties. I work a 9-5 full time job but can take breaks to help with walks, potty breaks, and feedings. I have 2 cats who get along with other animals. They roam around the house and tend to do their own thing. Staying in client homes, I will only use items/rooms that I am told can be used. I ALWAYS clean up after myself and will do light housework if asked/needed.

About: Hi! I’m MacKenzie, your pet’s new best friend and part-time squirrel scout. While I might not have a fancy pet-sitting degree, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and my own dog (a.k.a. my four-legged child) has taught me plenty—especially about basic training, reactivity, and the art of treating every leaf like it’s a masterpiece. I’m also a pro at giving meds and following care instructions to a T, so your pet’s routine won’t miss a beat. Plus, as an avid hiker, I’m more than happy to take active pups on day hikes for a little extra adventure! I get that every walk is a big deal, every squirrel is a personal nemesis, and if there’s a cat involved, they’re probably running the household. And yes, I’m here for my own steps too, because walking is my therapy! I'm currently in between full-time jobs, so I have ample flexibility for pet care throughout the week—perfect for midday walks, medication administration, or just dropping by to say “hello”! If your pet lives more than 30 minutes from Petersburg, they should be comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours once I return to full-time work. For now, my schedule is wide open, especially on weekends! Routine is important to me, and it’s no doubt important to your pets! My primary goal is always to limit the amount of change, so feeding and potty break times will be strictly adhered to. If there’s valuable training you’ve worked hard to implement, it won’t go to waste! Don’t be shy about letting me know exactly which cues and commands to use, and any other little personality quirks I should know about.

About: Hello!! My name is Shealawna. You can call me Shea. I have to start with how I remember my first experiences with dogs and cats, and that began from my earliest of memories as I was raised by a mother who worked in a kennel and owned her own grooming business. Because of this, I am well versed in proper animal care, taking this on in my own way now through Rover and word of mouth. We always had animals coming by and we were constantly learning about new breeds and how cats and dogs have their own personalities and that we are to respect as if they were children or seniors. I myself have 3 children and I raise my children to work along side me at time so that they learn for themselves a trade that has been passed down. I have regulars that I house sit for. One of my favorites is one with 5 dogs, 2 pigs, chickens, roosters and turkeys:). She gets along with just about every other dog and/or cat. I also have large yard when your pet is staying in my home. I am currently a stay at home mom and wife of a man dedicated to his profession, and who has served our country. I say that just because I hope it shows his level of support to my chosen profession. He supports us and sometimes steps in to help when needed. You can trust me to care for your pet and put their needs up front and center during my time with them. About: I keep my eyes on pets and I allow them the illusion of freedom in the back yard (on camera). Helps them to feel independent. (Due to their nature I'm unable to board Yorkies (Yorkshire Terriers) and Morkies. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.) I'm at the house almost all day, and I can secure the pet in a cage when I need to run out to run errands. I monitor the pet closely and I walk them at potty time and play catch or tag of war with them in the back yard.

“She took great care of my diabetic cat, Sarah. She needs shots twice a day. Jennifer let me know what her schedule was if there were any minor conflicts where an adjustment might be needed. We have a robot litter box which, of course, malfunctioned while we were out of town. She called and FaceTime with me so we could come up with a solution. (Sometimes those litter boxes seem more trouble than they’re worth???) Came home to a clean house and a happy cat. Thanks Jennifer!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always enjoyed simply being in their presence! I adore teaching old and young dogs new tricks and give exceptional care and cater to each individual pet! I also provide additional services such as bathing during the stay! I currently work part time at Ace Hardware. I am looking for a side hustle and have plenty of time to cater to your pet! I have other dogs so I do not offer pets in my home, but I offer exceptional care to dogs in your own home! I can easily put them in a crate as well as feeding them on time and taking them out to potty as needed! I will also spend lots of time with them as I very much enjoy being around animals. I have basic vet knowledge as well and can tell when something is wrong!

About: A dog is truly Mans Best Friend. I do have a kind heart, and I love for animals. I would treat your baby as my own. I have been around animals for the most part of my life. Just this past year two my dogs (Shakee Biton age 15 and Casper Coton de Tulear age 16.5) have crossed over to the rainbow bridge. Snowball (Bichon age 17) is still with me and just loving fife. Snowball loves going for car rides to the local country store for a hotdog. She also loves her daily neighborhood walks. She has 27 sister Hens, tow Roosters and for baby chicks. I administered all oral medications for my animals. I have open availability. I just recently left my job to work for myself. With the experience and love I have for animals I feel that I am where I need to be. I have four acres that is fenced in. If I am providing services in your home I will follow what you want for the care and need of your fur baby.

About: I have a few dogs at my house already but I've also been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at rescues. My family also has many pets and farm animals I help take care of these include fish, hamsters, and budgies. I'm currently in college right now studying life science but I have plenty of free time.
