About: Raised with animals big and small, I now care for 7 of my own. I’m passionate, patient, and skilled in both puppy training and senior pet care. l’m free everyday after 9am! Any day of the week I will be able to help with any needs that you and your pet will need! I prioritize safety by pet-proofing spaces and closely monitoring pets at all times. I create a calm, clean environment built on trust to keep pets comfortable and secure in any home.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 7 years old and professionally since I was 18 years old. I love ALL animals. I have experience with the following animals: Bearded Dragons, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and Birds. I know how to administer shots and give medications orally to Cats, Dogs, and Ferrets. I believe that pets aren't pets - they are family. I live in a house with my husband, 4 month old baby, and 2 kitties. I work a 9-5 full time job but can take breaks to help with walks, potty breaks, and feedings. I promise to give all of the love and attention your animal needs. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please reach out to me. Thank you! I have a full-time job however, I can take breaks throughout the day to attend to your animal's needs (walks, potty breaks, food, etc.). I have full availability on the weekends. I have 2 cats who get along with other animals. They roam around the house and tend to do their own thing. Staying in client homes, I will only use items/rooms that I am told can be used. I ALWAYS clean up after myself and will do light housework if asked/needed.

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost my whole life. I also have experienced with cats too. During my childhood I had all kinds of pets. I’m available in the weekends and evenings during the week. But I can make some time early in the morning as well if needed it. I can feed and go on long fun walks with your fur baby. I’ll make sure your pet feels in company and keep your home clean.

About: Hi! I’m MacKenzie, your pet’s new best friend and part-time squirrel scout. While I might not have a fancy pet-sitting degree, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and my own dog (a.k.a. my four-legged child) has taught me plenty—especially about basic training, reactivity, and the art of treating every leaf like it’s a masterpiece. I’m also a pro at giving meds and following care instructions to a T, so your pet’s routine won’t miss a beat. Plus, as an avid hiker, I’m more than happy to take active pups on day hikes for a little extra adventure! I get that every walk is a big deal, every squirrel is a personal nemesis, and if there’s a cat involved, they’re probably running the household. And yes, I’m here for my own steps too, because walking is my therapy! I'm currently in between full-time jobs, so I have ample flexibility for pet care throughout the week—perfect for midday walks, medication administration, or just dropping by to say “hello”! If your pet lives more than 30 minutes from Petersburg, they should be comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours once I return to full-time work. For now, my schedule is wide open, especially on weekends! Routine is important to me, and it’s no doubt important to your pets! My primary goal is always to limit the amount of change, so feeding and potty break times will be strictly adhered to. If there’s valuable training you’ve worked hard to implement, it won’t go to waste! Don’t be shy about letting me know exactly which cues and commands to use, and any other little personality quirks I should know about.

“Cheyanne watched my cat for a long weekend and was a delight to work with. She was very professional and responsible. She provided me with details of the stay and helped me out tremendously. I really appreciated her looking after our home and pet.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I currently have a working dog of my own. I’ve had a long journey when coming to training her. I take care of my pet everyday with love, training and time out exploring the world. We’re constantly trying something new everyday with new people and animals. I will make sure the environment is safe and secure. I always double check when it comes to the safety of others. I will accommodate where needed.

About: Hello!! My name is Shealawna. You can call me Shea. I have to start with how I remember my first experiences with dogs and cats, and that began from my earliest of memories as I was raised by a mother who worked in a kennel and owned her own grooming business. Because of this, I am well versed in proper animal care, taking this on in my own way now through Rover and word of mouth. We always had animals coming by and we were constantly learning about new breeds and how cats and dogs have their own personalities and that we are to respect as if they were children or seniors. I myself have 3 children and I raise my children to work along side me at time so that they learn for themselves a trade that has been passed down. I have regulars that I house sit for. One of my favorites is one with 5 dogs, 2 pigs, chickens, roosters and turkeys:). So please if you go out of town and need me I can accommodate my life to work with caring for your beloved home and pets while you are gone. I also do dog-walking and drop-in visits when you have long hours or special circumstances. In my profile you can see pictures of some of the pets I have cared for. I have many references, as I have many repeat clients as I truely love what I get to do and hope to exceed your expectations. Let’s get together. Please feel free to message or call me. I like to meet in person before I care for your pet so I know that I am fully suited to care for them. Hello! I am married and I have a 6, 11& 12 year old. One of which usually comes with me when house-sitting. I have a very flexible schedule so let’s see if I can meet you and your pets needs:). At home I have a friendly female boxer-bully mix. She gets along with just about every other dog and/or cat. I also have large yard when your pet is staying in my home. I am currently a stay at home mom and wife of a man dedicated to his profession, and who has served our country. I say that just because I hope it shows his level of support to my chosen profession. He supports us and sometimes steps in to help when needed. You can trust me to care for your pet and put their needs up front and center during my time with them. Your pet will never go a long period without me and their needs will be a great priority. I can send you updates or photos often and respond to messages from you.

About: I keep my eyes on pets and I allow them the illusion of freedom in the back yard (on camera). Helps them to feel independent. (Due to their nature I'm unable to board Yorkies (Yorkshire Terriers) and Morkies. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.) I'm at the house almost all day, and I can secure the pet in a cage when I need to run out to run errands. I monitor the pet closely and I walk them at potty time and play catch or tag of war with them in the back yard.

“She took great care of my diabetic cat, Sarah. She needs shots twice a day. Jennifer let me know what her schedule was if there were any minor conflicts where an adjustment might be needed. We have a robot litter box which, of course, malfunctioned while we were out of town. She called and FaceTime with me so we could come up with a solution. (Sometimes those litter boxes seem more trouble than they’re worth???) Came home to a clean house and a happy cat. Thanks Jennifer!!”
