About: I’ve been in school for vet tech, so I have more experience should anything happen than the average person. I’ve had animals my whole life and have learned a variety of ways to interact with them, depending on their temperament. I’m open to working with any animals, small or large, and always try my best to put them first. I am currently between jobs, so my schedule is almost completely open to help with any needs of your furry family member. That is, with the normal doctors appointments and needing to take care of my own furry family members, as well. I can stay and watch your fur baby at your house or walk them around, taking them to a park or something, which ever is preferred. I will ask about their favorite things to do, what they don’t like, etc. so I can get a decent handle on what to do and what not to do.
About: Growing up with large breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog & German Shepard), I’ve always been a lover of all pets, especially dogs. Since relocating to Blacksburg area for work 8 years ago, I’ve pet sat for a variety of animals in the region, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with specific medical needs. It would be an honor to meet and care for your pets! I work full time at VT with some remote days per week, so it can be a flexible schedule. I am happy to adjust schedules or remote days to meet your pets needs! I don’t have any pets in my current home, so I’m flexible to either board at my townhouse or stay at the pets home! About: I have a degree in animal science so I know lots about all sorts of animals, i love all animals with a passion. I’m a dog mom of 3! Currently working Wednesday from 2-5 and Friday 6-12. So the rest of the week I can play and walk your pups 🐶!! I’m super flexible with my schedule. I have three pups of my own and two acres of land for them to run and play, I do prefer to do walks or in home check ins on others animals though! One of my pups gets anxious around others sometimes. But he’s not aggressive.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
