“We felt our baby was very happy and taken care of during our vacation. We had daily conversations with pictures to make us feel comfortable knowing that he was in good hands.”

“Michelle was great with our 2 dogs. One dog is very shy, and nervous. Michelle gave her the space & time, to be comfortable with her. She took great care of the dogs, as well as, our home. She was great at communicating, sending updates, and pictures. We'll definitely be using her again.”

“Jennifer took care of our 3 dogs for a week while we were away. She communicated and sent pictures so we knew how they were doing. I felt very comfortable leaving our babies with her. I highly recommend her.”

“Brittany took care of my 2 senior dogs while we were away for 3 days. One of our dogs requires meds 3 times a day, and she is an over reactive dog. Brittany handled a situation with another dog that was off leash very effectively! My dog does not like other dogs, and she picked up my dog to avoid a potentially dangerous situation. Overall she took very good care of their needs, even walking them a couple times a day when she could have just let them in the fenced yard. I would definitely recommend Brittany to watch over your pets and give them the best of care.”

“This was the first time using Rover. I could not be more pleased with the individual we picked when we chose Josh!!! He was readily available. He kept in great communication with us throughout the entire process from booking to his departure after watching our pups. He cleaned up and left house clean and tidy. Even kept the pups safe during a tornado warning. Cannot wait to book again with Josh!”

“Tabitha was amazing with my old man Duke. She was able to handle his crazy mamas instructions, sent pics, videos and updates- and the house was just as good as when I left!! Not to mention the peace of mind with her being a vet tech- it really allowed me to relax and not worry while I was away! Thank you Tabitha!”

About: I’m a grandma with three little kitties. I have two children. A 24 year old and a 18 year old. I’ve had pets my whole life. Cats, dogs and caged animals. 😊 love taking dogs for walks. There’s a trail near my house to walk in. Brings such joy to my life. I’ve always had pets as long as I can remember and since I live in an apartment this is the next best thing. I’d love to bring some joy to your pets life. Walking, visiting, and most importantly loving your pets the way you do when your not around. I’m currently unemployed working on getting certified to run a daycare at my house so I have lots of time to spend with your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard and three friendly kitties to keep your pup or kitties company. I also love going for walks. I can also crate if needed.

“Gwen was absolutely wonderful with Chevy! She followed all instructions to a T, sent us tons of sweet updates and photos, and left our home spotless. Chevy was clearly happy and well cared for—we could tell he felt totally at ease. We’re so grateful for the love and attention she gave him and would welcome her back anytime!”

About: I began doing pet sitting in 2016 for family & friends, and that was most of my sitting experience until I began my dog training certification. Now I’ve been in pet care professionally for two years, and have had my dog trainer certification for half of that. My weeks are based around pet care. I do it full-time and have a customizable schedule based around my various clients & appointments. I have special hours available at request. I make sure to get an exact outline of what is expected/allowed for the pet, and am not shy about requesting elaboration if there’s any confusion on my part. Additionally, I like to do what I can to keep them mentally stimulated with games, activities, and some light obedience training/reinforcement so they can hopefully carry that good behavior over to their daily life.

“Samantha did a great job taking care of our high energy puppy. I know what a handful she can be but she handled her well! Samantha communicated with me and sent pictures while she was at our home. I'll definitely be asking her to watch Dolly again!”

“Ariana has been my go to sitter! She is so good with my Lucy and she loves her. Very dependable! She also has helped me out with a few small projects around the house while I’m away. Highly recommend!”

About: My husband, Greg and I, have just started our 7th year with Rover. It started watching friend’s dogs during their work time and while Greg works from home, someone is usually home all the time. Kim has experience in working several years in a veterinary clinic giving her a keen eye for dog sicknesses, ailments and first aid. As a family, we train and compete with our own dogs in AKC events (conformation, obedience, agility, rally, hunt tests) as well as Kim teaching obedience classes for 10 years and trained many of our own dogs. For more than 20 years, we have volunteered with various breed Rescues, including fostering, temperament testing and dog transports. We thoroughly enjoy all dogs and working with them. Kim is more in tune with dog behavior and loves to be able to give each dog their time to acclimate to avoid undue stress. We currently have 2 high energy dogs that at the end of the day love to snuggle up with myself and the family. We also occasionally co-breed German Shorthair Pointers. Understanding the importance of knowing your family member is safe and well cared for in your absence, is priority for us. In addition, we are very able and willing to take care of special needs and senior pets as well. I’m a stay at home mom to my teenage boys, along with my husband who works from home. Together we offer all scenarios of the best possible pet care. I have a completely fenced yard and pets of my own to help keep your pup company. We have the capability to offer crate training if your pets need it.

“Cerena and Isaac were great with our puppy Baylor who was coming off a week and a half of no exercise because of a leg injury. They gave him the care he needed and the proper amount of exercise since he was just able to begin light exercise. They communicated and sent pictures, so our minds were at ease. We would definitely rebook in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve worked at pet stores and currently work at a Doggy Daycare and Boarding facility (Love Unleashed, St. Louis) while at university. I want to make pets feel the least amount of stress as possible, while their humans are away. I want to give them Love, Security, and Fun. For this Summer, I’m available after 6pm Monday -Thursday. And anytime Friday- Sunday until August 20th when I head back to University. I will be completely available for Pet sitting in the Lake County area during the winter holidays. Each situation is different so the amount of time spent with a pet will be dictated by the pet parent. Whatever your fur baby needs is what I will give them. If I am house sitting, I will respect your space and follow the rules and standards that you set. I will ensure fences are latched and leashes are secured. Each pet will have their individual needs met.

About: I have had and taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and so many other exotic animals since I was very young. I also have experience working with a wide variety of pets at vet clinics as well as a pet resort both of which I walked, fed, administered medication, and watched several dogs in a daycare setting. I also worked with a wide range of exotic animals as my career after graduating college! During the school year I am a substitute teacher typically working M-F until about 4pm. This summer I will be working at Apple Holler as a tour guide with a slightly inconsistent schedule but the days I do work I will usually be finished around 3pm. That being said I am available to do drop ins and walks later in the afternoon after work. I have most weekends available as well. When caring for your pets I will always be cognizant of the surroundings. I respect the owners choices of the best way to manage their dog so I will use leashes, crates, etc. whenever it is needed or recommended.

Kalyope M.
“Kalyope is one of the biggest animal lovers I have ever met. She has always had a love for animals, whether it be dogs, cats, horses, or even a guinea pig. Being roommates all 4 years of college, we always wanted to get a dog but never had the time or space to care for one. We eventually got 2 guinea pigs our junior year and they were our lives! About a year after we got the pigs, Kalyope adopted a bunny from the ARL whom she named Malibu. He is such a spoiled little bunny who always has space to hop around doing bunny things. Kalyope has experience caring for her family animals ranging from chickens to dogs, as well as big cats such as tigers and lions. I have full faith that Kalyope will be an excellent caregiver for your pet and give them all the love and attention that they desire.”
