“We are new to the area so did not know anyone to ask for dog care, so I found Elliot totally organically via Rover and am glad I did. Elliot was awesome. We had him house/dog sit for us for close to a week and he was great. Very responsive and understanding when the dates of our trip got moved around. Also he was able to swing by and let the dogs out again when our flights got delayed. The dogs were happy and healthy when we got home and seem like they loved him. We will be asking (hoping) Elliot can dog sit for us again in the future.”

“Wendy did a great job while I was away! Even though I had limited communication capability, she sent messages everyday so when I got online I would know everything was going well! And Love all the pictures she takes!!!”

“Lucy D was great with Penny. This is the second time that Lucy has stayed this summer. It is nice to go away and not have to worry. The house, plants, fish and especially my precious Penny pup were all fine on my return!”

About: I’ve had over 50 years of caring for many breeds of dogs, including my own. I am respectful of others homes and can be trusted to give loving care to your dogs. I am a retiree that has a fairly open schedule and able to spend the night at your home. I may need to leave for an hour two at times for health appts. and going to our home to let our own dog out for a bit. I am flexible on how to care for your dogs in your home, including using a crate. I will respect your current ways of sharing your home with your dogs.

About: Having grown up with a variety of different dogs, and volunteering at shelters, I work well with all kinds of dogs! I have stayed overnight with pets in their own home, but have also just checked in on dogs while their owner was away. I love playing outdoors or going on walks with the pups, and can do short and long distances! During the week I work part-time in the evenings at a local dance studio, but am generally open during the morning and day time. My schedule in the evening is a maximum of four hours, so I could easily check on the animals before and after my evening shift. Always allowing the animal to warm up to me, I have learned to be patient with extremely shy dogs and letting them approach me first. In my own home, I have a teacup yorki and a basenji mix and have loved having both a smaller pup and medium sized dogs. Throughout my time dog sitting, I have learned to respect the animals space in their own home, as some can be particular on which areas they allow guests. I love allowing the dog to get out some of their playful energy at dog parks or simply snuggling up on the couch with pups. I also have my own transportation, if the owners prefer or request I take their pet to the local dog park!

“Paul took great care of my dog and put my mind at ease while I was away from my pup! He gave thorough updates with pictures and was always thinking one-step ahead of me (trial walk, key drop off, etc.). When my pup got sick Paul communicated what was going on well and made the same judgement calls I would, which showed me he was truly looking out for my dog like she was his own. I will be re-booking with Paul in the future and recommend him for your petsitting needs!”

“Kaiya was FANtastic with our pups!! One of our dogs is quite anxious and can be reactive, but Kaiya was incredibly sweet and patient with her and they became fast friends. She’s respectful, personable and a great pet sitter for anyone, especially with anxious dogs. Thank you Kaiya!!!”

“Audrey did an amazing job with Draco! She sent me pictures every day and gave him plenty of play time. She stayed in my apartment and was very respectful to the space, will definitely be reaching out again when I need a sitter!”

“Sara did a great job taking care of Cosette so my mother, sister and I could enjoy a weekend out of town. I very much appreciated the daily updates and pictures and it was so nice to know that Cosette was in good hands while we were away. I would definitely ask Sara to dog/house sit again!”

“Anneke watched our 2 dogs in our home for 2 nights and was very responsive with communication, gave me updates and pictures, and overall we were pleased. I would recommend her and we would use her services again in the future. Thanks Anneke!!”

“Jeffery is a wonderful dog uncle, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He watched our dog and our house for a week and took special care of our dog who has some health conditions. I am thankful he gave her such love and attention. 💜”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, and horses, and have some dog training experience. I just graduated from college, so I have a relatively free schedule as I transition, and would love to dedicate that time to animal care! I make sure I am very attentive when seeing what the pet needs, and I make sure to accommodate for whatever recommendations my clients would like to see being done. I also have a flexible schedule and can work around whatever is needed for them to remain happy and healthy.

About: I've been lucky enough to share most of my life with dogs, as well as a cat that worshiped me for about 15 years. I'm able to quickly form connections with animals of all kinds, and have rarely encountered a dog or cat that didn't like me, including several deemed "difficult" by others. I also have experience working in a veterinary clinic that offered boarding services. My time spent with my pets is the most rewarding part of my life, and neighbors often comment on how lucky my dogs are to have me. I'm currently looking for work and have put in applications at pet boarding and daycare facilities. In my last job, I provided support for adults with developmental disabilities, but the work was a little bit too emotionally intense for me, despite it being highly rewarding. My dogs are always on my mind, and I walk them at least three times a day. My schedule is currently completely open, and I'd love to use my time caring for your pets! I walk my dogs, including my brother's dog Rosie,at least three times a day and they receive plenty of engagement with other dogs in the neighborhood. Lila can be difficult with some smaller dogs, so boarding wouldn't really be possible at this time.

About: I’m usually the first person my family calls when they need someone to care for their cutie pets while they’re away. As a grad student and pet owner myself, I understand the emotional support that animals can provide! Pets are family members and I understand what it takes to look after family. I send daily photo updates and report back any information requested. I have experience maintaining training schedules for puppies. I’m diligent at following care plans and requests. Overall, I truly to enjoy connecting with animals and their owners alike! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and considering me. I’m currently working towards my graduate degree and have a flexible daily schedule. I am able to stop by routinely (in between classes or internship commitments) to take care of your pet! I am available most weekends and weekdays. My schedule is subject to change in a few weeks with the start of a new semester. My goal is to continue the quality of care that your pet is used to. I want to reduce the amount of stress they might experience in the absence of their loving owner(s)! Keeping their routine as similar as possible is key. Meal times, walk times, crate/no crate, on/off furniture, treats, etc. are all things I try to attend to. I am open to specific requests your pet might need!

About: Hey there! 🐾 Need someone to take care of your furry friends? Look no further! I'm Kelsie, a passionate and reliable pet sitter. Trust me to give your pets all the love and attention they deserve while you're away! 🐶🐱🐾 I have a few years of personal experience with caring for animals along with a few years of work by along side a local humane society helping foster furry friends till they find their forever home. With me currently working from home I have a pretty open availability to work with different pets and on their schedules. I am available to take them out or on walks as need and at set times. I do not have a fenced in yard but we do have a pretty safe and big yard for your dog to roam around in and always provide leads for them to play outdoors safely. I also have a spacious living area for them to roam around freely indoors with plenty of toys and our own dog and cat to keep them company.

About: Hi, I’m Gabe! I’m 28 with a 15 year old pup so I know a thing or two about gentle care for dogs. I know peace of mind is the best thing I can offer folks who need a little help with their animals, I’m excited to be able to offer that for all who I work with! I’m currently a full time employee from 9-5. My schedule is pretty flexible so I’m able to help most anytime of the day as needed. Ideally I’d be able to help out in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings! I can drop in, talk your dog on walks, or a quick bathroom break. I’m here to best serve you and your pet so whatever you guys need, I’m happy to help!
