Bobby did a fantastic job dropping in to take care of our two German Shepherds. We used him for 3 days total and he dropped in as requested. He came an extra time just to make sure they were well taken care of and were able to use the bathroom. We will be using Bobby going forward for all our needs as long as he is available and will have us. When he came to drop off the garage door opener, the two of them went sprinting for him. They were barking in a high playful pitch because they loved him so much. Highly recommend!!!

I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, horses, goats, alpacas, donkeys, and more. I've worked as a kennel technician and dog groomer, where I cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm dependable, patient, and committed to providing updates and photos throughout your pet's stay or visit so you can have peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! This is my only job currently so I will have plenty of time to play with your fur babies and make sure they are well taken care of! I am available Monday-Saturday! I will always make sure your baby has food and water and plenty of play time. I will send updates and pictures to ensure you see your baby is well taken care of!

About: I have a true genuine passion for pet sitting. I have always loved and never bored with wanting to care for others pets. I understand that each pet is a part of a family and should be treated as such. I have a few years of experience working in a pet hospital and many references, many including coworkers that understand I would love their pets as if they were my own. I have a full time 9-5 job however, my job is flexible with me taking longer lunch breaks if your pet requires frequent potty breaks and I will check on them before and after in addition to overnight if needed. N/A, I don't pet sit at my own place because I rent and they charge extra for that as well as I believe most pets feel comfortable in the safety of their own home.

Christina is amazing! This was our first time with Christina and we hit a home run. She went above and beyond to care for our babies, as well as, helping us out with things we didn’t even expect. She vacuumed up cat litter, collected our mail and took the trash out just so we wouldn’t have to do those things when we got home. And as wonderful as all that is, her care of our Tootie and JP was excellent! She spent lots of time on walks and play time and it was obvious our babies loved her visits and looked forward to them every day. I highly recommend Christina to take care of your pets. You’ll be glad you did.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life! I grew up with both cats and dogs and lived on a farm, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and needs. Today I’m a proud cat mom to two, which means I know cat body language, feeding routines, litter box habits, and how to help an anxious cat settle in a new environment. Whether it’s a quick check-in or an extended stay, I treat every pet like my own! I work full time, but my job allows me to come home over lunch. I can offer midday visits and potty breaks in addition to mornings and evenings. This makes me a great fit for dogs who need a break during the workday or cats who just want company and a fresh bowl of food. Pets are part of my daily life, not an occasional hobby. My home is pet-proofed and set up for animals to feel comfortable. I’m attentive to safety basics (secure doors/gates, no accessible hazards, fresh water always available) and I keep owners updated with photos or messages during visits so you always know your pet is safe and happy.

About: I’m an animal person through and through. I’ve been around dogs since I was a little boy at the age of 5. I’ve taken care of family, neighbor, and even stray pets/animals and take pride in my ability to get on the good side of any creature. Firm believer that there is no such thing in a bad dog, only misunderstood ones. I have one dog (the handsome black lab), but sometimes have my mother in law’s two dogs over. They’re all well behaved and sociable. I work from home and typically have a lot of spare time in my day to take care of pets. I make sure to take my dog to the park everyday and see to it that he gets proper exercise and will be sure to make sure your dogs get the same. I don’t go anywhere most weekends so I’m available for boarding and anything else more or less all the time. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a big yard and sunroom so plenty of space for play. I have several parks located within ten minutes of me and walking trails nearby too so your pup will never be bored.

  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
