I am VERY well experienced in caring for dogs and cats. I have cared for a variety of animals ranging from senior animals that require round the clock care, to week old puppies needing constant feeding and cuddles, ive cared for sick dogs needing medication, and ive cared for energetic dogs needing someone to run around and tire them out! I have loved and owned dogs my whole life and now that i am an adult i love them even more! My kids share that same love for animals, and we promise to love your sweet baby and treat them like our own🥰 I care for animals full time, so i’m very flexible when it comes to availability! Im always willing to make things work and find a way to help you in caring for your pet! Safety is my number one priority ALWAYS! I will always make sure your pet is safe, happy, and comfortable! I always make sure doors and windows stay closed to prevent an escape, im very diligent in security! I do not have a completely fenced in yard, so i will always make sure to securely walk your dog.

(3yr old & under 1 yr old) I have an extra large crate if your pup needs crated and am able to block off certain parts of my house to separate pets as needed.

About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

I have cared for a horse that needed daily eye medication, and I can administer medications if your dog and or cat needs them. I am willing to learn how to administer insulin to your pet, should they need it. I am also able to transport your animal to any appointments they may have to go to. I have a clean driving record with no accidents or tickets. I will treat your fur babies as if they are my own! I do stay home during the week, so you wouldn’t have to worry about your animals being left alone for extended amounts of time. I work from home, so your fur baby will always have company! I am very flexible with scheduling, and willing to watch your pet in case something unexpected pops up! I live on 10 acres in a secluded area with low traffic, so your pet will have plenty of space to explore! I have two female Great Danes, as well as three cats so your pet will always have company!
