I am currently in school at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine, so my pet care will typically be early before class, on lunch and evenings when I am out! I’m confident in administering medications, monitoring health needs, and making sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. As a veterinary student, I’ve built a routine that’s structured yet flexible enough to include pet care. Most of my classes are in the mornings and early afternoons, with free time in the evenings and weekends. I also have long breaks between classes on certain days and a lighter schedule on Fridays. This allows me to provide attentive, consistent care—whether it’s walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. I’m reliable, responsive, and passionate about making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. When caring for pets in my home, safety and comfort come first. I have a securely fenced yard with cameras for supervised outdoor playtime, and pets get at least 30 minutes of exercise and enrichment outside at least 2-3 times each day. I share my home with two friendly pets, but visiting animals are never left unsupervised with them—I always monitor all interactions carefully. I also have a large crate available if a pet needs their own space or downtime. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s, I aim to provide a calm, structured, and loving environment where every animal feels safe and at ease.

About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. Even when I was little, I helped feed her, walk her, play with her, and even helped with training. Those experiences are a huge part of why I love pet care so much today. My family now has two dogs that we got while I was in high school, and I love visiting them every chance I get. I’m definitely the type of person who immediately gravitates toward the dog at any social gathering. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors since I was around 10 years old, and even more frequently once I started driving at 16. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means going on runs with high-energy dogs or taking slower walks and giving extra comfort and attention to more relaxed pets. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and so loved while their owners are away. I also worked on a ranch last summer where I cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Although I didn’t grow up with cats, I’ve done plenty of cat sitting over the years and absolutely love them as well. I know every cat is different, and I’m always patient and attentive to their routines and comfort level. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work a 9–5 job during the week, but I have an hour lunch break that gives me flexibility for walks, check-ins, or midday care. I also usually go on a run in the mornings and take walks after work or after dinner, so I’m very used to staying active and would love bringing a dog along if they enjoy extra exercise. On weekends, I’m available all day and have a much more flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine. I know consistency is important for animals, so I always try to keep them comfortable by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely.

About: I am very good with animals and I have been an animal lover for years. I have a degree in animal sciences and I have dedicated my life to this field! I am currently in school to get my DVM! I have had pets of all kinds over the years from hamsters, to turtles, to dogs! I have also watched the pets of my close friends and neighbors in the last couple of years. It doesn’t matter the shape, size, or age I would be more than happy to look out for your pets while you are away at work or even on vacation. I am reliable and punctual with anything I do. I will always go the extra mile by communicating with you if there are any complications. You can count on me! I currently am a veterinary student and I have classes throughout the week. I also have a small dog of my own who I care for so I hope we can communicate and find something that works for the both of us. I currently live in an an apartment off campus. About: I am a certified Veterinary Assistant.
