I went away for several days and wanted someone to administer a once daily liquid steroid to my cat and someone to also give her affection each day and to check on her water and her automated litter and food containers. Kelly met with me to review everything the day before starting. She was a great communicator throughout, even texting a picture of my cat’s foot to make sure something she saw was normal. I loved the pictures and videos of her playing with my cat as well! Great experience!”
About: I've had animals since I was born. Mostly cats until I moved out on my own 9 years ago. Now I have 3 love bugs of dogs and 4 kitties! I've fostered dozens of cats and have been pet sitting since I was a teen. I love ALL animals :) I keep things low-stress: fresh water, playtime, belly rubs, and plenty of pics so you don’t miss a second. Whether you need a quick potty break or a week-long house sit, I’ll treat your furbaby like family. I’d love to meet your pets!! I work part time as a school bus driver. I do have 3 dogs that are all great with other dogs. I have cats but they live on their own floor. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was about 10 years old. They always seem to love me and I love them as well. I also have experience in training as well I’m available all the time as I’m unemployed at the moment. I have plenty of time to spend time and care for pets. I have a dog of my own and he was the sweetest. He gets along with other dogs well I can easily create a dog if needed. But I do have another dog in the home. He is very sweet and gets along with other animals very well.
“Christine was a real lifesaver. I live near Pittsburgh and I had a medical emergency in New Jersey that required me to be here for the entire month of August. Christine dropped by my house twice a week to feed my cats and play with them a little bit and she was marvelous. She sent me pictures of the cats every visit and was very good with communication. I love helping everyone in every way I possibly can.I have worked at a Dog Kennel for 2 years until I wanted to do my own pet sitting out of my house and I love doing it! I am home all day with me two children and would make sure your loved pet get the care it needs. I would feed it off your daily schedule and take your pet on walks and take them potty every 2 hours and as needed. About: I live in Scottdale but I’m very familiar with ALL surrounding areas. I’m a homemaker, so I’m available practically any time to come offer care to your furry (or not so furry!) loved ones! Currently we have 2 dogs, a purebred 32lb female Siberian Husky & a Designer Breed 15lb female Pomsky. They are both crate trained & house trained. Both are fully registered ESA (Emotional Support Animals) & I take that very seriously as to their training & how exactly I want them to behave. I recently lost my female German Shepherd; & a year prior my male Siberian Husky. My male Siberian was epileptic so I’m experienced in offering meds and know that having them on hand & on time IS A MUST for things of this nature! My shepherd was very elderly (about 14) & required a lot of extra love, care & attention also. So I am also compassionate about animals that need some extra loving. *I offer very basic kitty care. I cannot host cats in my home due to the prey drive of my husky, sometimes she’s ok with them, other times not. *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragons myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake, or your spider!) ***I offer potty breaks, walks, playtime, feed & water breaks, treat time, medication administration ALL in my standard fee. Anything else, just ask! I’m very flexible & willing to work out most things if we can come to an agreement suitable for both sides. I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. About: I’ve had 2+ dogs in my entire life. In my adult life I’ve had 2+ service dogs that travel with me. I am a critical care nurse who has taken pet CPR as far as safety. I have emergency meds as well. Luckily, I have a house with a fences in yard, animal friendly household with spare rooms and a heated/cooled garage/closed/secured garage for any kind of special separation needs (in heat/aggressive breeds/outside animals, etc). Currently off enjoying a break from work, .. . So as of now, my schedule is very flexible. My household/fenced backyard/garage, is sectioned off pretty nicely. So, I have a very flexible availability overall. I am very positive I can meet most requests/needs for boarding/grooming/daycare/etc. So just let me know! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
