About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since my youth, and have a large affinity towards all animals. Though my heart is definitely consumed by a desire to help strays and rescues. I have even helped rescue a red-shouldered hawk with a broken wing that I discovered while hiking once. My current pup, Amber, is a rat terrier, Italian greyhound, and chihuahua mix with anxiety issues due to an abusive background. So if you have a pet with some special needs due to anxiety I have experience and understanding. I also have experience with senior dogs having said my goodbyes to my 14-year-old border collie and lab mix last year. I am currently in a transitional period in my life having made a career shift from the medical field into one more academic in nature. So while I transition I will be able to work almost anything into my daily and weekly scheduled routine. I have a lot of flexibility and availability for the foreseeable future. I will always be respectful of your place and will always provide the best possible care to each and every pet. I also am more than happy to setup a quick meet and greet prior to the scheduled care in order to properly address any concerns as well as provide reassurance of the care I can provide to your furry family member.
