“Tabitha is an incredible sitter and companion for my dog Scout. I can see the care and detail she takes in playing with him and making him feel important. I travel a lot for work and it’s just me so it’s always stressful knowing I have to leave my dog behind. But I’m always assured he’s in great hands with Tabitha. Thank you for all that you do. It truly matters.”

About: I have over 20 years of experience watching family and friend’s pets. I do over-night stays in your house with your pets, and dog walking. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, fish, and even lizards. I’m able to give medications, and I’m very good with senior pets. I was recently laid off and have completely open availability at the present time. I enjoy walking and would be happy to do that with your pet. I’m also available for home/pet-sitting during vacations. I have a senior cat who doesn’t do well with other animals so I can’t provide care in my home, but I have extensive experience providing care in my client’s homes. I respect my client’s homes and privacy - I do not bring guests into their homes or go through their belongings. I will keep your dog on-leash during walks but am happy to play with your dog in your yard or approved dog park.

“Carly is simply the best! She is so caring and great with communication. I love that I get pictures from walks every day and seeing how happy Baxter is hanging out with her. She even brings in our packages from the doorstep without being asked! We have been SO lucky to have her taking care of our boy the past few months.”

“Sarah is the best! She is extremely reliable and has come in all weather. She really goes the extra mile. Since our dog is potty shy on walks, she makes sure she gives him time in our yard to go to the bathroom. She also spends time playing with him after walks. She sends us lots of action shots of him playing. She is also extremely flexible. Our dog loves her, and we wouldn't trust anyone else ❤️”

About: Hi there! My name is Amber Howard and I look forward to being your fur kids new best friend. I’m a stay at home mom with several years of animal care. I currently work part time as a vet tech but have done dog sitting/boarding for many years prior and a former rescue adoption manager. My passion is with animals and hope to show my children the same love for them! Please reach out with any questions you may have and I look forward to chatting! I’m a stay at home mom 5 days of the week and a vet tech the other two! We are home a lot! Thank you! I have a fenced yard. I also have baby gates for inside the home and can crate if that’s what your pup is use to!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl, having cats since a toddler. When my sister got her first dog, I watched after her a lot since I was studying from home and she was a puppy who we knew needed more often potty breaks and care. When she got her next 2 puppies, I also watched after them while they were little ones. I have cared for dogs who take medication and dogs who need a little more TLC. Ultimately, I have experience with dogs and cats and love both so much. My best friend is a vet and her husband an emergency vet (sadly they're in Georgia), but its comforting knowing I have them in my pocket for any emergencies. I currently work M-F but am off on the weekends. I have finished my board exams and awaiting the beginning of residency, so I am looking for something to do on the weekends I enjoy, and what better way to do that than caring for adorable animals! I care for animals in their own home. I’m very respectful of other’s belongings and find that animals tend to do better when they are in their normal surroundings.

About: I love pets of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. I accept all personalities coming from an owner of a very mischievous husky and a reactive senior pup. I have several years of dog walking and sitting in DC as well as working at veterinarian offices. I am also currently enrolled in nursing school so am no stranger to any medically necessary situations. I will always ensure to treat your pet like my own and make sure they grown to love me like their own! I currently work nights part time at UMMC as well as am enrolled full time in nursing school. Though that might sound like my schedule I’m jammed pack, I have plenty of breaks in between for your beloved pups! I also enjoy quality time outside and would love to have a fur friend to join me. I currently do not do pet sitting in home or out as I have a 3 year old toddler I simply cannot spend time away from and my senior pup is unfortunately dog reactive.

About: Hi there! I'm a retired animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for pets of all kinds. From dogs and cats to chickens, hamsters, and birds, I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with animals for as long as I can remember. I have pets of my own, which include two dogs (a Chocolate Lab and a Siberian Husky), three cats, and a flock of backyard chickens, so I’m no stranger to a busy, pet-filled home! I provide gentle, attentive care and understand different personalities. I’m also experienced in administering oral medication and maintaining routines to keep pets happy and healthy. Whether you're heading out of town or just need a little help, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and right at home. As someone who is retired, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care throughout the day and week. Caring for animals is already a big part of my routine, as I currently have two dogs, three cats, and backyard chickens, so I’m used to staying on top of feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and clean-up. My open schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable attention to your pets, whether it’s for drop-ins, walks, or last-minute bookings. I truly enjoy spending my time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners can relax and know that they are safe and looked after! When caring for pets in their home, I respect their space and routines, I make sure everything is done just as the pet is used to. I take time to bond with each animal, keep things clean, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is always to keep pets relaxed and maintain their routine, so they feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 15 years, when I got a puppy for my kids. A few years later we adopted another dog as a companion. Our dogs are part of our family. I have experience from puppy through senior pup, which includes giving medications. I’ve also worked as a Veterinary Technician and volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter. Both were rewarding experiences which provided me additional practice with sick pet care and leash walking. I am available most days and evenings. I’m available to travel to make home visits, and can walk your pet in your neighborhood or take them to a local dog park or other type of recreation area. We have a gated deck and fenced in area for our dogs. We have one small senior dog who gets along well with both dogs and cats.

“Jaeda arrived on time for both the meet and greet and dog walk. She’s personable and took the time to get to know my pup a little better. She asked good questions about her habits and temperament. She was respectful of my home and pup!”
