About: I may be new to pet sitting, but I genuinely love animals and really want to help take care of your pets. I’m super responsible, eager to learn, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m dedicated to giving them lots of love, attention, and care. You can trust me to be reliable and to make sure your pets are happy and safe while you’re away. I work part-time at a bakery 2 to 3 days a week, but I don’t work late nights — I get off around 7 PM. Since I’m not in school right now and doing online college, I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. You can count on me to provide responsible, loving care for your furry friends! In my own home, I make sure my pug is comfortable, fed, and given plenty of attention. I believe in sticking to their usual routines as much as possible, including regular feeding times, play, and walks if needed. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their specific instructions to ensure consistency and comfort. I prioritize creating a safe, loving environment, whether that’s playing with them, giving them cuddles, or simply making sure they feel secure. No matter the location, my goal is to make pets feel loved, safe, and happy while their owners are away.
“Zeus and Thor had a great time today. Kami is the best when it comes to taking care of my pups. Being 2 high energy German Shepherds, Kami knows how to handle and keep them stimulated and having fun!”

About: I have both had and taken care of animals since I was a child. I was the neighborhood sitter when neighbors and friends would go on vacations during the summer. Being a stay at home mom I am able to be with your fur-baby tons and give them lots of attention. My children are kind and gentle with dogs and our dog is very sweet and laid back. He loves meeting new dogs. Your sweet baby will be in great hands here! I am a stay at home mom. Aside from school drop off and pick up, and the occasional errand I am typically home so your pup will have plenty of company. We love evening walks so that will also be included (if you like) when your baby is with us! I have a large, fenced in backyard. I also have a medium sized older dog who loves playing with dogs of all ages/sizes. I have an xl crate that is also available if you need.
About: I have been around/cared for dogs all my life! The last time I watched my aunt's dog one of them was pregnant with one of the babies I own today. She was really crabby to the other male dogs but she was such a sweetheart to me! All of them cooperated with me and didn't give me that much sass. So to make a long story short I will love your dogs like my own! I am usually more free in the afternoon but I find ways to fit my pups in my day because if I don’t then will? I always walk my dogs, I feed them, bathe them and make sure they have plenty of attention! Sometimes my youngest dog be wanting more attention than usual but that’s because he’s spoiled.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, ranging from young puppies to senior dogs for over 10 years. I have trained dogs to use the potty as well as sit, shake, and other tricks. I work from home, at a low volume job. I often sit outside in our backyard, which your pet could enjoy! I can take care of your pet any hours throughout the day. I make sure pets are fed, they get their exercise in, and their needs met. Our backyard has plenty of space for them to use the restroom as well as run around, but we can also be inside if preferred.

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have owned dogs since I was little. Caring for them comes naturally to me, and I truly treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m very attentive and loving, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy at all times. Your dog won’t just be watched, they’ll be loved Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine. I work from home from Friday through Tuesday, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. On weekends, I’m fully off, so I can dedicate even more time to caring for pets. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to provide 24-hour supervision for boarding, including regular potty breaks, feeding on schedule, playtime, walks, and lots of affection. Pets are never left alone for long periods, and I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved at all times. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get exercise. I also have three friendly dogs who love having company and help create a fun, social environment, while I always monitor interactions closely. I follow each pet’s routine and preferences carefully and communicate with owners regularly. If crating is requested, I’m happy to do so but I will never crate a dog without the owner’s permission. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide a calm, clean, and loving space where pets feel secure and cared for at all times.
About: I’ve had cats, dogs & fish my entire life. I love ALL animals! When I look into their eyes-I see their souls. “We recently moved to the Conroe area and needed a sitter asap. Lesly was responsive and really eased us by sending pictures and updates throughout the day. I would highly recommend her!”

“Darcy was amazing with my pup! She accepted my request just two days before, which was super convenient and such a relief. Her communication was clear and consistent throughout the day, and I felt totally at ease knowing he was in good hands. She even sent him home with some sweet treats! I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Dawn. I'm a retired nurse and animal lover. I believe that our 4 legged friends are the same as family and should be treated as such. I live with my husband of 26 years and our 18 year old son. We have lived in our home since 2004 in the neighborhood of Kings Manor in the front of Kingwood. We have a large, fenced in backyard that is perfect for running and playing fetch. It's a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of green belt trails for long walks on sunny or cloudy days :) I enjoy cooking, gardening, crafting, swinging on the swing set and gaming :) I spend a large portion of the day outdoors so you can be assured your fur baby will get plenty of outside play time each and every day they're here (weather permitting of course) I know what it's like to have to put the care of your loved one in the hands of a stranger so I will always be mindful of the value of a game of fetch, a walk or extra cuddles during a thunderstorm. Whatever special needs your fur baby might have I will always do my best to accommodate them. Also, be prepared for me to send you lots of pics and videos of your babies while you're away :) I'm a retired nurse who is home full time. I have no outside obligations so I am very accommodating to whatever schedule you and your fur baby might have :) I live in a 2 story home in the quiet neighborhood of Kings Manor in the front of Kingwood. I have a large, fenced in backyard with plenty of space for your doggo to play. I no longer have any pets in the home as we lost our sweet boy, Cody over a year ago to cancer :( Watching your fur baby gives me and my family great joy to be able to offer love to them when we don't have our own doggy to love anymore. It's therapeutic for me and your fur baby gets lots of one on one attention from us. So it's a win win :)

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
