“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. “I have spent a lot time searching Rover trying to find the best place to send my 8 yr old vizsla, Tasha, while I travel and I am extremely happy that I chose Kirk & Anita. They were very responsive, so I was able to schedule a meet & greet right away. Their property/home is well maintained (gorgeous!) and very spacious. Kirk is excellent at letting you get acclimated to the property before introducing his own dogs to your pup. The entire meet & greet was extremely pleasant and you leave knowing that your dog will be in good hands. Tasha just spent 2 nights with Kirk & Anita and I received updates/pictures throughout her visit which was great since it was her first time staying overnight. I picked up a happy, great smelling (complimentary bath), exhausted pup (lots of play and walks) along with a surprise tote bag - complete with treats - to use when she goes back and forth from her visits there. It's the little things!! I’ve used a lot of sitters and dog daycares over the years and this experience was absolutely wonderful. Schedule a meet and greet – you won’t be disappointed!”

About: I have experience working with dogs of all ages at a shelter, I’m good with all ages and work with the dogs at their comfort versus having them conform to what I want them to do. I’ve administered medication to dogs both older and younger and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make you feel at ease about your dog being left with me. I am currently in school from 830-3 I can provide care from 330 and beyond depending on what you need. Weekends I am home all day and if your dog enjoys it I can take them hiking to the park ext. As I do live in an apartment that isn’t fenced in I can’t let them run around In a yard, but I have plenty of space to walk dogs or run with them if they like as I am very active. If I am in your home I will make sure your dog feels as safe as possible with me being there as well as providing you comfort.
