“Abby did a great job caring my my dog! She was quick to respond to messages and took lots of pictures during their walk, which brightened my day. Would definitely book again!”

“Jill was excellent with Stella. She cared for and loved Stella like she was one of her own. Stella went on nice long daily walks with Jill and sometimes she included her dog Murphy. This was good because Stella needs to lose some weight and the two dogs got along well and liked to play together. She always documented their walks thoroughly and shared pictures. Jill has watched my pets for decades and I 100 percent trust her with all of them.”

About: Ever since I was a kid I have been taking care of pets. From fish, to hermit crabs, to birds, to hamsters, to cats, to dogs, I have a lot of experience when it comes to taking care of animals. I have about 2 years of dog sitting experience under my belt, and I make it a priority to leave a home nice and in order. I am willing to walk dogs, care for cats, and watch your house while you're away. I am available 7 days a week to care for your pets. I will be working as a full-time sitter for the summer so just check the calendar and reach out! As a sitter, I will ensure that your pet is well fed, well loved, and well taken care of. I am flexible to you and your pet's needs.

About: While in high school in New York, I volunteered at the Greenburgh Nature Center and the Humane Society of Westchester. My family also has our own dog, who we've owned for almost 3 years. I usually handle most of his care during the day, including feeding, walks, and play/exercise! I'm also good at caring for a home, and I'm very meticulous about cleaning. I'm currently free all day, any day! I am currently unemployed, so I'll be able to dedicate as much time as possible to your fur babies! I will discuss your pets' needs beforehand to make sure I can provide them with the best possible care. Every pet is different! That's why learning their preferences, behaviors, and needs is very, very important to me. When it comes to caring for the home, I will need to know any of your preferences, locations of cleaning supplies, and whether or not you have a particular way you want things done. I'll also need to know what to do/who to contact in case of an emergency.

“We needed some help to cover when our usual dog walker went of town for a bit. Cassidy has been great with our pup! She's very professional, always arrives when she says she will, rain or shine. We get pictures and updates and in general she's great with communication.”

“Sandra was so great with Luna on their walks from the very first walk. She was excited to see Sandra each time she showed up to help me during a tough time when I couldn't walk her! Thanks so much Sandra!”

“Molly was super responsive to my messages. She agreed to walk my Millie with little notice, before even meeting. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring dog-walker.”

“Emma went above and beyond and walked our dog Huck a full hour (likely due to his stubbornness) when we had only booked a 30 minute walk. She also made time for a meet and greet before our first walk and was very professional and courteous. My husband and I would highly recommend her!”

About: I have a lifelong passion for animals, backed by professional experience and education. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medical Technology and have worked in a small animal clinic for two years, where I gained hands-on experience. My background also includes two years at a pet store and a history of caring for family and friends' pets. This professional experience has given me confidence in handling various tasks, from giving medications to performing nail trims. While I'm comfortable with all types of animals, I have a special affinity for cats, as I have two of my own. Good news for your furry friends! If it suits your needs, I can even work directly from your home. Mondays are my in-office days, so my availability is more restricted, but we can definitely discuss arrangements beforehand. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and was put in charge of feeding them and letting them out at a young age. I also have plenty of experience cleaning up accidents in the house from the years that they were puppies and from other dog sitting I have done. This is most likely going to be my main job over the summer, so I’m free almost anytime to dog sit or walk! My preferred days would be Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. At home, I feed our two dogs every night and let them out immediately after on leashes since we don’t have a fence. Every time we let them out we give them treats to reward them for going outside. I also have a cat that is my responsibility to take care of, so I feed her, scoop her litter box, clean out the litter box, and of course play with her!

About: I have never lived without a dog until I came to college and missed my pups at home :( I hope to share my care for dogs with owners who want to get away for a little! I am available most days to care for your pet! Please let me know at least 1 week in advance so I can plan accordingly. I live in the woods surrounded by plenty of trails and space for dogs to explore (on-leash of course). If I am visiting the dog, I can bring my walking legs and an eagerness to entertain your pup!

About: My love for animals started at a young age. At 13, I began breeding my dogs and successfully raised multiple litters over the years. I took full responsibility for the mother during her pregnancy and through the delivery, ensuring she had the best care. I then cared for each puppy around the clock until they were 8 weeks old, providing everything from dry food feeding to potty training. Throughout the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many clients, offering services like house-sitting, pet-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking. I've always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up with two Shih Tzus that now live with my mom to keep her company, and I currently have a sweet and loving tuxedo cat. Caring for your fur baby and showing them love and attention is truly my passion, and I’m excited to give them the proper attention and care they deserve! I’m available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and while my weekend hours are a bit more limited, I’m happy to find a time that works for you! With several years of experience and a variety of services, I can help with: House sitting (at your place or mine – I promise I don’t raid the fridge) Dog walking (your furry friend will get all the exercise they need) Overnight stays (I’m excellent at keeping the couch warm) I’m flexible and always eager to help out however I can. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to make it work My apartment is the ultimate pet staycation spot! It comes with a dog park right on the property and multiple walking trails—perfect for daily adventures or leisurely strolls. Your pet will enjoy lounging on a comfy couch, playing with tons of toys, and living their best life. If they’re good, I can even sneak them a couple of treats before bed (with your permission, of course). I’m flexible, love following any routine your pet needs, and I promise to spoil them just the right amount!

Wood Ridge Manor dog parents share their Rover experiences
Maria is the most amazing dog sitter! I couldn't imagine having someone better. She is so caring and fun – our pup is absolutely in love with her. She provides very frequent check-ins with photos and videos, so I never have to wonder or worry. I'm only jealous of how much fun they seem to be having with her! She is also very flexible to our needs, and she makes it feel like we can always really count on her. I also love that my pup gets to spend time with Maria's own dog, which is so amazing because they're perfectly matched playmates! My dog has always been crazy high energy all the time, so it's a blessing to come back home to a dog who's ready for naps and cuddles because of the enrichment she gets being cared for by Maria. With Maria, I know my pup is in the best possible hands. Look no further for the most perfect dog walker/sitter!
