About: I own two dogs and have pet sit for neighbors, friends, and family. I also previously started my own pet sitting business. I currently work at a pet resort/doggy daycare facility. Most people may not be aware of this, but Rover takes 20 percent from its sitters. Tips are very appreciated to offset this. For housesitting, I am not comfortable with indoor cameras. I understand how popular they are these days, and the desire to protect your babies and home while you’re gone. But it feels intrusive when I am staying overnight. Always dogs, sometimes cats, reptiles, rodents, or fish... often combinations of more than one of the above I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to give your pets as much attention as they want. Can also take entire days of from work to focus on pets as needed. Our yard in a quiet neighborhood is not fenced, but we can & will take as many leashed walks as needed. In the house, we have a laid-back pug and an aloof cat who likes to hide in the bedroom (she has a lock that lets her in while keeping dogs out) when strangers are about.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
