About: Hi, I'm Jaela! I’m an elementary school teacher, and animals of all ages and sizes have been the absolute center of my world for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by a wide variety of animals, which taught me from a very young age how to read animal body language, handle different temperaments, and provide compassionate, patient care. Throughout high school and college, I regularly watched and walked dogs and cats. About: I am available for in home pet care and house sitting, along with plant care, gardening, yard and pool maintenance. I have not completed any sits through Rover yet, but have been a pet sitter with TrustedHousesitters since 2018 and MindMyHouse since 2022. I am available for short and long term in home pet sits anywhere (but depends on where I’m traveling at that time). I am a snowbird and travel South Nov-April. I live in NE Indiana the rest of the year. If I happen to be in your area and don’t need to stay overnight in your home, I’m open to just stopping by and walking them. Just send me a message and we can figure it out. I’m also flexible with dog size and breed, but probably will decline sitting large breeds if we cannot do a meet and greet or they are not trained. I have sat for many senior pets, puppies, kittens and multiple animals at once. I prefer to sit for small-medium breeds, but will sit for large breeds if there’s only one and they are not difficult to walk. I bring over 30 years of experience in house/pet sitting. I have bonded with so many sweet pets (of all ages, sizes and breeds (please see my 5 star reviews under my photos). I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, therefore I have no trouble driving up to 16 hours to do a house sit, depending on where I am at the moment. I have extensive experience with gardening, plant care, and yard maintenance. I worked as a florist for 10 years and have always had a garden and eclectic selection of plants of my own. Finally, I love photography and will most likely send you lots of cute photos of your pets. I work remotely five days a week and am able to be around your pets throughout the day to ensure they have the love and attention that they need. I will care for your pet in your home and can stay up to 1-3 months if I’m traveling. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

About: I’ve always had dogs, ever since I was born, so I have a LOT of experience! I have been trusted with my friends’ pets as well, going over to their houses to take care of the dogs and play with them! I am working part-time right now, so I have pretty good flexibility when it comes to needing someone to come and take care of your pets. I can do some weekends and weekdays. I am not available Wednesday evenings after 4. I will feed them (a certain amount of times a day if that is what you normally do) and make sure they have plenty of water. If they normally go in a crate during the day/at night, I can do that for you as well.
