“Jessica and her family watched our pup Clementine for a long weekend. She was a little nervous since it was her first time away with new friends but Jess made her feel so welcome and she got comfortable right away! We touched base daily and she was great at communicating. She was also flexible and easy going which helped make everything easier! Would be happy to recommend to anyone and would gladly have them watch our furbabe again! ??”
“Kelly was able to accommodate me with about 25 hr notice. She has an amazing set up for any dog. Pool, big backyard. She works from home a lot so my pup wasn’t alone. Her dog was so sweet they got along great. She kept me updated with pics and messages”
“My puppy was so happy at Courtney space! And I appreciate Courtney was doing a wonderful job sending me photos of my puppy. I will definitely reach out to Courtney for taking care of my baby doggie again. 100% recommend her!”
“We highly recommend Michael, as he was wonderful with our 1.5 year old German boys!! This was their first time being away from home and Michael made us feel at ease with his daily updates and photos. I was afraid the boys wouldn’t want to come back home after being so spoiled for almost a week! 😂 We would definitely book with Michael again!”
“Jamie and Brian were knowledgeable , caring and basically treated our dog like he was their own … We liked them so much are using them again for our upcoming two week vacation. !!”
About: As a fellow pet parent, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new. That’s why I treat every pet like part of my own little furry family—warm cuddles, silly moments, and all. Your pet’s happiness and comfort mean everything to me. I’m available for boarding pet care on the weekends mainly. Also, open to be flexible and accommodate special requests. Please message me with your questions. I have a smaller fenced yard for quick potty breaks throughout the day and take my own two doggies for regular walks in the neighborhood as well. A minimum of 2x per day, rain or snow.
“Melissa and Gregory were incredible! This was our first time using Rover and they put us immediately at ease. They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy. I highly recommend Melissa and Greg - they are just super!”
“I cannot express enough the wonderful care my dog Willow received during her vacation. I was very anxious leaving her for the first time and especially with people she did not know. I got updates and photos daily. I was able to take her familiar bedding and toys and treats. I am also great full that she got her eye med ointment every day.”
“Jin, was very friendly and very communicative. She treated my baby girl like her own. She took my booking at the last minute, I thank her for that. Highly recommended!”
“Fantastic. Marty really went above and beyond for us. Our dog is older and is having some issues - she was patient and kept us in the loop on what was happening with him. Thank you so much!”
“Erica was amazing! She took the extra time to meet our dog and get all the information she needed before the booking, and her daily updates and pictures made our day! It made us so happy knowing that our dog was in a good home while we were away.”
“Vidya was wonderful with our 1 year old rescue dog. We got daily updates and pictures. You could tell she truly cares about the dogs she sits and makes them comfortable. She also kept our dog busy and occupied. We would highly recommend her and use her again!”
“We are very comfortable leaving our guy with Emmy. Her home is a good setting and her communication is excellent. She consistently sent pictures to keep us updated. Will definitely continue using her.”
“Kendra was wonderful! Very communicative before booking and during the stay. Sent us lots of photos and updates. Dogs had a great time, briefly acknowledged us and immediately went to bed snoring away. Would definitely book again.”
“Carol was incredible! From the second I met her I felt comfortable leaving our puppy with her. We have had bad experiences with Rovers in the past, so we were really anxious to leave him again. But Carol communicated really well and sent pictures and I know she took care of him just as well as we would have and probably better. She played and cuddled with him and fed him her homemade dog food. We weren’t stressed at all during our honeymoon because we knew that he was in great hands. Our dog is a handful too! I would highly recommend booking with her. Thanks carol!”
“Her and her husband were amazing with our little guy Cooper♥️ We are very grateful that they were able to take him in last minute and that our pup had a lot of fun!”
“Andreas was so great! He was so kind with our dog, took him for walks, and truly made sure he was taken care of. Andreas is very trustworthy and responsible with the care of pets. He answered texts quickly and made sure to update us with pictures. I know my dog was comfortable with Andreas and I will definitely bring him back!”
“It was the 1st time, and I'm very happy with Leah. When I was dropping off my dog, I knew that my dog would love her. Leah kept giving me updates constantly. I definitely trust Leah with my dog and will rebook with her again.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wolcottsville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wolcottsville.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wolcottsville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
