About: I’ve volunteered with dogs since I was 11, lived with large dogs my since childhood, and have been working jobs in animal welfare for 2.5 years. Working in a pet hospital, dog rescue facility, and a county shelter gave me a lot of experience and professional training with handling dogs of all sizes safely, especially anxious dogs. I was trained to administer daily medications and even fluids as needed. My daily tasks were feedings, cleanings, walking, and playing with our dogs. I am free Mondays and Wednesdays. I work from 8am - 6pm at the shelter on Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat. I would love to house sit for a night or two if this schedule can work around you and your animals. While checking up on your dogs, I can play with them until they’re tired out and teach them basic tricks and commands. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs and will treat your pet with compassion, using positive reinforcements. I’m a patient pet sitter and would love to spend time with your dogs and cats. About: I have had dogs my entire life, and love spending time with them. I would have a house full if I could! I have experience taking care of dogs from 8 weeks old to senior, and I have administered medication of many kinds. I am currently a stay at home mom of 4 (teens,tweens and a kindergarten age kiddo), so I am home most of the day. Some of my kids do participate in school sports and there are times where I am gone for a few hours here or there. Besides that, I’m always home. I currently live on a lake, tucked back about 5 miles from the highway. It’s a new construction, so while I do plan to eventually get a fence put up, right now I do not have a fenced yard. I do however have a tie out for potty breaks, and will go on daily walks. If requested, I will personally go outside with your pup during potty breaks. I also have two golden retrievers in our home that love to have fun, swim, and play. They are guaranteed to keep your pup busy. You need to be aware that I can only watch pups who tolerate kids. While my kids are very respectful of animals, I do still need confirmation they are okay with kids present in the home. They also will be crated in the event that I need to leave home for a short time.

About: I’ve never lived in a house without pets and I’m good at building a rapport with them. I don’t mind if an animal is skittish, nervous, or hyper. I will always bring the best care to your furry loved ones if you bring me on to help. I currently work from 4pm until midnight at the latest so I can drop in while the client is at work and if I’m given proper notice I can schedule around my job. In the client’s home I will be able to stop in frequently and/or stay for a few hours to keep their pet company. I will also be able to feed them and give them water and take them on nice long walks.

About: I am a 30 year old college graduate and I have loved dogs my entire life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I always asked my friends if I could hang out with their dogs whenever possible. I just honestly really love dogs and want to be able to hang out with as many as possible throughout my life. I interned at a Veterinary Clinic during my senior year of high school so I have become familiar with appropriate ways to administer medications, trim toe nails, and calm anxious pups. My availability is fairly flexible and I will always make time to take care of a pooch that needs it while their pet parents are away for whatever reason they have. My schedule can sometimes be unpredictable but I always do my best to communicate that with possible clients. Open communication is key for me to help you. If I’m in your home, I treat it like my own. I was raised to respect everyone and their belongings. Your pet’s safety is always my number one priority.

About: I worked at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I gained experience with lots of different categories like feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure animals felt comfortable and cared for. I also have experience with reactive dogs/cats and making sure to create an environment where they thrive and do not feel the need to be reactive. I also worked with many different types of cats, especially the shy ones who just needed more support. I have also given vaccines and medicine to animals, as well as taken a senior diabetic cats blood sugar. I understand every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow any routines and give them all the patience and attention they need and deserve! I also have experience with family animals! Growing up, we had all sizes of dogs, from a German Shepherd to an Italian Greyhound! So I have experience with all different animal personalities like door dashers, small velcro pups, and the older ones too:) I currently have a small dog, a bearded dragon, and a hamster! I truly love animals and want pet parents to feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and getting lots and lots of love while they’re away! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening pet care as needed! I live in a rented apartment, so sadly I’m not able to board pets in my home. I do offer care in clients’ homes, which I believe is often best for pets since they can stay in their own familiar space:) I always make sure to follow instructions closely, keep the environment clean, and prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort.

About: I have worked with animals my entire life. I grew up fostering cats & dogs - from newborns who had to be bottle fed to seniors with medical needs. I have worked at an animal shelter for a period of time, so I have plenty of professional experience as well :) I recently relocated here to Marquette! At the moment, my schedule is pretty open so I am flexible with what hours you & your pet may need. I love getting outdoors so I do not mind walking or playing multiple times a day, whether if we are in my neighborhood or yours!

About: I have 10 years of experience caring for animals of many kinds. I am a wildlife biology major pursuing a career in wildlife rehabilitation. This gives me a complete understanding of animals needs. I am currently home in the northern lower peninsula for the summer. I have complete open availability and can accommodate most schedules! I have 2 lovely cats of my own currently, but have cared for all types of animals in the past! I am open to any safety and precautions that are requested.
