About: Throughout my life I have cared for two cats and a Bichon-Frise/Poodle Mix. I was involved in caring for my dog from the day he came to us: showing him how to use stairs within those first couple of days and teaching commands for the next couple of years. Inevitably he aged, and over time I developed a familiarity with handling the many facets of caring for an aging dog: arthritis, anxiety, mobility challenges, and mood shifts. I learned the tricks for keeping him calm in the car, and those for getting him to take his medications. In all those years I consistently played with him in our fields, took him for walks, and ignored his grouching when I bumped him in his sleep. I love all animals very much, but as an innately energetic person, and as someone who is convinced (like most) that I had the best dog in the world, I find I bond most quickly and most deeply with dogs. I would be thrilled to meet yours. I am a recent college graduate looking for work while I job search. I do have a part time job, but with enough notice I am happy to arrange my shifts to suit your animal’s needs. I typically work evenings. In general I do my best to follow the pet's pace/lead, prioritizing the animal's comfort whenever possible. I follow provided schedules in a regimented manner, and if a schedule is not provided, then I will develop one myself. I take things like medication management and potty breaks very seriously, aware that when an owner is gone, pets are often stressed, and this stress can exacerbate pain and/or behavioral struggles. Regardless of the weather I am always happy to move and be active, so regular walks/exercise with pets is no trouble. As a pet lover, quality time is never an inconvenience either. I am more than thrilled, if your pet is more of a lounger than a runner, to just sit with them and relax.

About: I have worked at my local Veterinary Clinic (3yrs) and Humane Society (1.5yrs) and have lots of animal care experience! I have worked with animals of all ages from puppies to seniors, and have experience in administering all medications and maintaining a clean environment! I am currently unemployed but am eager to find a part-time or full time position to utilize my skills and experience. At the moment I am available for walks, sitting, and check-in’s at all hours and any day I may be needed. I love to give fur babes attention, or let them do their own thing if they please! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, at one point we had 10. I’ve taken dog sat for many people in my church and in our neighborhood. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule!
