Christine is absolutely wonderful. She has helped me so much with my German Shepherd, Frank! She walks him everyday. She has even made herself available last minute when I have been stuck at work and couldn’t get home to my boy, life saver! I highly recommend if you want someone caring and trustworthy to take care of your fur babies!

About: I spent my entire life around animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, who lived to be 18. Not long after that, my family adopted a puppy, and later two cats. I helped to train the puppy, I introduced the cats, and today they still thrive. Theoughout my childhood/teens, I learned about and cared for many-a-creature. Guinea pigs, rats, a hamster, sugar gliders, a hedgehog, and even a dove! My passion for animals has only grown. When I moved away, it was lonely, and I was quick to adopt a kitten. He's almost 6 now! My pets are family, and yours are too. I will always care for a pet as if it were my own! I am currently working from home as a digital artist & jewelry maker, so I am able to set my own schedule and adapt as needed. I currently don't offer visits/walks on weekends, but this might change. Consider me a perfect pick for your pet while you're away during the work week! Whatever you need! I am able to clean litter boxes, crate dogs, play in the yard with your pups, or inside with toys if that's preferred! I am also familiar with Kongs & other enrichment toys. Or if your buddy just needs a pet and a cuddle, I'm here for that too! I can also administer most oral medications. Please reach out with any questions!!

I haven’t used Rover in probably 10 years. I was hesitant to go back to it because you never know who’s going to be taking care of your dogs. I just finished my first week having Andrea walk the dogs and I can’t begin to explain how highly I would recommend her. From the pictures and updates she’s sending, to going above and beyond making sure I know that she’s walking the dogs the full-time. I’m just hoping she doesn’t stop doing this anytime soon because she is amazing!

About: I have experience caring for both puppies and adult dogs, including dogs with disabilities, cats, bunnies, hamsters, birds, fish, turtles, a pig and a squirrel. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, administering basic care, providing companionship, and monitoring their overall well-being. I am comfortable adapting to different temperaments, energy levels, and mobility requirements, ensuring each animal receives patient, attentive, and compassionate care. Through this experience, I have developed strong skills in handling animals safely, recognizing their needs, and creating a positive and supportive environment for them. I am currently unemployed, but I am looking for a part time job. As of now I am available Monday through Sunday. When I find a part time job, I will update my availability! When caring for pets in their own homes, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and established routines. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and household rules. I ensure doors, gates, and windows remain secure to prevent pets from escaping, keep potentially harmful items out of reach, and monitor pets for any signs of illness, stress, or unusual behavior. I provide plenty of attention, companionship, and enrichment while maintaining a clean and safe environment. My goal is to help pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving owners peace of mind that their animals and home are being treated with respect and responsibility.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was three years old. Our household has once consisted of four dogs at once and I loved it. I’ve taken care of dogs as young as eight months to 14 years old. My experience consists of grooming, potty training, basic training, feeding & water, medication management, and even changing diapers in later stages of life. I’ve also taken care of neighbors pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even hedgehogs. I have experience of checking in on the dogs and feeding them throughout the day to staying at the house for hours to provide exercise and company for their furry friend. I also have over a year of volunteer experience at local dog shelters. I am a graduate student so I have open availability throughout the week. The longest I’m gone one day per week is four hours. I do work from home on Monday’s for two hours but then I am free to spend time with my furry friends. I attend classes twice a week, Monday’s I am gone for 3 hours and Tuesday’s I am gone for 7 hours. The rest of the week I am not home for 0-3 hours. This means your furry friend will not be left alone for more than 4 hours any day except Tuesdays. I walk my dogs every 2-4 hours and we enjoy trips to the dog park at my apartment complex. I have two friendly dogs at my apartment that would love to meet your pet. We spend a lot of our time playing or snuggling on the couch. We go for walks around our apartment complex and we take trips to the dog park next to our building. I have a young energetic dog that loves to play and a have an older dog that loves to get the zoomies and then become a couch potato. When I am away, my dogs stay in their crates. For your furry friend, I can use a doggy gate to give them some extra space since they are in a new environment. I can keep them in my kitchen which will give them enough space to walk around and lay in their bed. My dogs takes medicine twice a day so I already have a routine for giving medications to my dogs. I would be happy to walk your furry friends with my dogs or by themselves if that is your preference. We also have plenty of dogs toys ranging from stuffed animals to the Bark Super Chewer toys, if your dog likes to destroy toys, like mine does. I have two beagles so I am used to food driven dogs that only listen if there are treats involved. I also have my garbage secured underneath the cabinets with baby locks on them so no animal can get to it. I also am within 20 minutes of a 24 hours emergency vet if your dog was to ever show any concerning signs.

Dave is fabulous! He's a personable guy, who was wonderful to my dog. And, he showed up on time, every time, regardless of the weather. I am very pleased that Rover.com connected us and I truly appreciated Dave's help in my time of need. I would most definitely engage Dave's services again and I would highly recommend him to others needing help with their companion animals.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats, and now I have a dog who’s truly part of my family. Since I was 10 years old, I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for my neighbors whenever they go out of town, making sure their dogs are walked, fed, and, most importantly, loved while they’re away. Being around animals has always brought me so much joy, and I take pride in treating every pet like they’re my own, giving them the care, comfort, and attention they deserve. I will be nannying over the summer on some Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until around 4 pm so on the days that I am nannying I will be free any time after 4. But on other days I will be free all day long. Whether it’s taking your dog for a walk, letting them out for a potty break, or just giving them some extra love and attention, I’d be happy to help keep them happy while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I treat them like part of my own family. I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and happy by sticking to their usual routine, whether that means walks, feeding, playtime, or just some extra snuggles. I know how important it is for pets to feel secure in their own space, so I always give them plenty of love and attention while keeping your home just the way you left it.

About: I have two dogs and love being around dogs. I enjoy going on walks and taking them on car rides. The best part of my day is being around my dogs and if i see a dog I want to just pet and love them all . I have saved one from a shelter and she is hyper and I take her on daily walks. My 5 year old has ear infections and give him the proper medicine by his vet and clean out his ears. Also I enjoy bathing dogs and just letting dogs be dogs. It's all about them not feeling alone and having someone there that loves them as much as their owners. I plan to give thar much love back to them I work at home and have a 12 year old son who loves meeting new friends. He also will play with the pups and like to run and they chase him and play I have safe places they can stay with me in my home and a safe park. All dogs are welcome in my car. About: I worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over 20 years and just recently decided to stay home with my kids full time. Pet sitting has always been something I’ve done on the side for family and friends, but now that I have more time available, I’m very excited to be able to love and care for your fur babies just like they were my own! I am currently available for daily walks and 2 potty breaks per day, and of course PLAY TIME! I also offer drop in services if you do not feel your pet needs a walk or additional exercise. I am available for any and all of your pet care needs, and with 20 yrs of previous veterinary experience, I am also comfortable giving both oral medications and injectables for diabetic patients. I love being around all animals because they provide a great sense of calm and familiarity for me. I always treat a client’s pet just as I would my own and they will receive endless love & attention while in my care. I do work part time during the week and have two young boys at home- while we are a very active family, I can usually carve out time even on work days for drop in visits or walks.

About: I have had 7 cats over the past 15 years, including one that was blind. I currently have 3 cats that are all spoiled rotten. I have a lot of flexibility on the weekends and could check in multiple times during the day. Weekday evenings are best, normally 5pm and after. Since I have 3 cats, I would not be able to watch other pets in my home. I will happily travel to your home and spend time with your pet.

About: Hi! My name is Kate Palmer, and I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati 🎓❤️ I just started on Rover and am looking for pet sitting opportunities because I genuinely love animals and caring for them! 🐶🐱 Although I’m new to Rover, I have years of caregiving experience through nannying for multiple families, which has taught me how to be patient, responsible, attentive, and dependable. Right now, I nanny, but my schedule depends on when the family needs me, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of availability 😊 I grew up around dogs and lots of cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life 🐾 My parents have a dog that I help care for often, and I also have two cats of my own! Because of this, I’m very familiar with daily pet routines, different personalities, and making animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I love being active, going on walks, playing with pets, and making sure they feel happy and well cared for while their owners are away 🦴☀️ I understand trusting someone new with your pets can feel nerve-wracking, especially with a new Rover sitter, but I truly care about providing the best care possible and treating every pet like my own 💛 I’m very detail-oriented, communicative, and reliable, and I would love the opportunity to help care for your pets while also growing my experience on Rover 😊🐾 -Kate💓 I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati, so I have a very flexible schedule right now alongside babysitting and am currently looking for full-time opportunities. Because of this, I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, pet sitting, and even last-minute bookings. Caring for animals already fits naturally into my everyday life, I grew up with dogs and cats, help care for my parents’ dog, and have two cats of my own! I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, active, and well cared for while their owners are away 💛 I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special instructions. I know how important consistency is for animals and I always treat both pets and homes with respect and care. Since I have a dog and two cats of my own, I’m very familiar with reading animal behavior, giving pets attention and patience, and making sure they feel calm and cared for. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel comfortable knowing their pet is in good hands!

About: For over 10 years, I had the privilege of caring for animals at a pet boarding resort. To build lasting relationships with families and their pets were a true joy. I was a loyal employee at Country Lane Pet Resort for so long, but after that, I was available to volunteer and help out where they needed me. I have so much experience when it comes to caring for and understanding what your pet/pets need. I look forward to getting to meet so many new fur friends. Thank you for your trust. I'm currently a stay at home mom to one daughter and am available for frequent drop in visits or long walks, playtime and as always, tender loving care! I will care for your pet in your home following all your requested wants and needs and to my fullest love and attention. Your furbaby will always be treated kindly and as if they were my own.
