About: Our family currently has 8 pets ( 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 1 rabbits.) Inside our family unit pets are a responsibility of love we all take on. This has allowed my children to see the deeper side of what it takes to love an animal. Slowly gaining trust with each pet has become second nature to us. I Grew up my whole life with animals, but personally started caring for pets myself at 16 starting with a ferret. We have walked the road of behavioral issues to old aged pets as well. This year I started pet sitting and decided to continue that journey. Thanks for considering our family to care for your family while you're away. We are a homeschool family which allows our time to be extremely flexible. While we are busy, we are also the only ones dictating our time. So we manage time well and around the families we are helping. Obviously during summer school is out for us and the fun begins. At our home we have a fenced section and an electric fence for our pets that covers 4 acres. If your pet is trained on this type of fence he/she can run the whole yard. If they are not trained on electric fences they can run in our fenced in area attached to the back of our home. Inside that fenced in area is another fence around our unground pool. We are offering doggie swim & splash time in the inground pool. We will also have a baby pool they can jump in. We have 4 dog kennels in our air conditioned/ heated garage for boarding when they are not playing outside. Garage door will be kept shut and only a side locked door will be used to enter in and out of. I will also be getting dog first aid/CPR certified soon. Our vets office is 2 minutes down the road from us as well. I will also be cleaning the kennels between each dog with the same chemicals the vet uses to kill diseases and is safe for animals. Knowing your dogs temperament and personality will help us secure his/her safety and others. We have a questionnaire to help us get to know your pet and it’s needs.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: I am a recent college graduate and frequently volunteer with KCPP (every Sunday) doing dogs day out and am also in the process of becoming a foster. I have experience with dogs ranging from LARGE to small, and have a hard headed pitbull at home. I love all dogs and would love to become a frequent reliable sitter. I have TONS of repeat clients on and off of rover and would love to build a relationship with you and your pets! I have an apartment with a patio and open door. Nova spends a lot of time on the patio and we take long walks atleast every 4 hours including small potty breaks. I keep my dog very active and feed her twice daily, she’s allowed on furniture and in my bed. Dog sitting is currently my only source of income and has my full attention! I have tons of free time in my search for a full time job after recently graduating. I can do both! I often stay in my regular clients home and would need to do a meet and greet with my dog beforehand.

About: I've had dogs my whole life from small yorkies to big farm dogs. I also, have experience taking care of ailing 13 and 14 year old dogs that need special care. I love any and all dogs!! I'm currently talking summer online college courses, so I have very flexible hours and can work weekdays and weekends. I can do early mornings or evenings. About: i’ve had dogs my entire life boxer, beagles, labs, poodles, i've walked, fed, and bathed them for as long as i can remember, taking care of dogs brings me joy, and i would treat your dog as my own i currently work night shift at ups, so i can’t stay the night or board the dogs but i can come over in the morning and walk or take care of them i also go to the gym everyday and physically fit to take care of them i am very respectful of other peoples houses, and of their pets, i would create a loving and safe environment and i can tend to anything needed

About: I've personally had dogs for over 20+ years. My pack has been as small as 1, but as large as 5. I've been active in rescue groups and truly feel like dogs are the answer for any sadness. I've recently lost my soul dog after a 2 year struggle with cancer. My heart isn't ready for another dog, so I am hoping I can still get my cuddles in and help people out in the meantime. I've become a pro at giving medicine, so if you need a midday dose giver, Im your gal! I'm a realtor, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can make most days or evenings work. Whatever your pup needs, I can make it happen! I follow orders, so I won't put your dog into a situation they aren't familiar with. I totally get all animals are different and respect how people work with their own.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I have also volunteered with local shelters for many years. I am always thrilled when friends and family ask me to help out with their pets because dogs are the real happiness in the world. I have a very flexible schedule so I can offer my services at pretty much any point during the day. I have open availability throughout the week. I have a black lab/Great Pyrenees mix so I definitely love big dogs. My girl loves other dogs and we typically do walks around town at least 3 times per day. I try to keep both myself and my dog in decent shape so we can do as long a walk as she wants to do.

About: I’ve cared for my bulldog at home for many years now and make frequent visits to my grandmothers house to help her take care of her beagles. I have always had a passion to make animals specifically dogs time on earth the best it can be. I know they are incredibly misunderstood and no matter the animal, I have always found a way to get along with the fur baby. On days I don’t work, it would be amazing to get the opportunity to do this as to me it’s not considered a job Make them feel comfortable and let them know that you are there for them. Have patience as each animal is different and requires a unique but understanding approach.

About: I have taken care and had animals in my home for around 19 years now. I absolutely love animals, I love taking care of them and playing with them on a daily basis. I am willing to take care of your pet in every single way possible.:) I work at target part time, so my schedule ranges from 7:30 AM in the morning to around three or four in the afternoon. I’m a big morning person, so I am able to get up earlier than my scheduled shift time and take care of animals. As well, I am able to take care of them after my shifts and even dedicate more of my time to them on my off days. unfortunately, my yard does not have a fence, however, we do have a pretty spacious backyard and I am able to keep an eye on them and play with them all throughout their outside experience.

About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!

About: Family and friends always trust me to watch their pets. I’ll love them like my own, and provide the upmost quality care for your fur baby! I’m currently working part time and doing my masters program online, therefore I have a very flexible schedule which makes it easy for me to be there when needed. I treat every pet and home with the same respect I’d give my own. I would follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I respect all house rules and also keep things tidy. About: I was raised on a farm with pets my entire life. I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. I have taken care of pets for friends and family for many years. I have always felt a deep connection to furbabies. I work part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your furbabies! I have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to accommodate the needs of your pet. I live next to a nice park where your dog can potty. I have a very sweet mini poodle myself to keep your furbaby company. We often walk the Heritage Trail and take walks down by the river that I would love to include your dog on! I do have an extra crate if you would like your furbaby crated.

About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for 3 years since I moved here and I especially love cats and i will keep them entertained I can take care of pets Monday through Saturday and will take care of them I will groom there fur and take them on walks I can walk them in the yard play with them outside feed them take them on potty breaks give them a bath if needed or just relax with them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 8 years old! Friends, family & neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets while they are working or away on vacation! I have recently trained my two puppies, and prior to that trained my sisters dog for several years. I also have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs! I currently work full time in a peds ER from mid afternoon to late evening. I’m available for early morning drop ins, mid day check ins and night time checks. About: Hi! My name is Allie! My life revolves around my two border collies. We are constantly off finding adventures...hiking down new trails, swimming in lakes, herding sheep! Of course, we love an inside, sit on the couch type of day, as well. Whichever kind of day your pet needs, I would love the opportunity to care for them. I attended three years of veterinary technician school and have worked in several hospitals and shelter settings. From all those experiences, I learned how to interact with different personalities and treat medical emergencies. I am now in a different field that allows me to work from home the majority of the time. Therefore, I will be available to spend all day with your pets! I have also had horses my whole life and grew up working on ranches. If you have a hobby farm or other animals that need to be cared for, I am happy to do that as well! Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. I can't wait to meet you and your furry ones! I work from home most days. If I am called away, then it is for a couple hours at a time. My goal is to never leave your pup alone for more than a couple of hours. In that time, they can either be crated or have full access to our guest room for all their napping needs. :) I have a very large, fully fenced in backyard to play in. I have two border collies that have never met a stranger. Depending on your dogs needs, we will take the proper steps to ensure every one is safe and happy for the entirety of their stay.

About: I have grown up taking care of dogs and would dog sit for my neighbors. I love going for long walks and need a companion! I am working and will be about to walk dogs during the days and evenings. I am sometimes free on the weekends but as needed. I will not be able to dog sit at my place but I am willing to feed, water, walk, and play with your dog at your place.
