In the animal hospital, I cared daily for animals that weren’t mine but treated them as my own and I will continue to do the same for your animals. I just graduated college and have plenty of free time to take care of your pet’s needs any time and any day of the week. When taking care of animals in a client’s home, I ensure that I follow all instructions given to me by that client. About: I've had pets all my life and have pet-sit for neighbors, friends, and family -- including special needs and senior pets who need a little extra care and compassion. I work from home as a freelance writer, so I have plenty of free time to spend with your pet and mine. My own dog gets plenty of trips outside, to the dog park, and to the lake throughout the day -- and lots of naps on the furniture and several pet beds throughout the house. My dog, Ozzy, is a one-year-old Corgi who gets a long walk twice a day, a trip to one of the dog parks in town, and regular trips into our own yard for some frisbee and potty breaks. I also have room for an extra crate if your pet likes a familiar place to retreat. When watching other dogs, I keep my cats upstairs and away from the dogs to ensure they're environment is stressfree.

I am able to create my own schedule and primarily be home with the pets. I am a HUGE homebody and am here with them majority of the time unless I am doing a home visit that day (typically takes 2 hours) or running an errand. The only thing I request be brought is your pets favorite food and whatever medication they are currently taking. It can also be helpful to bring whatever bed is comfortable for your pet to sleep on. If your pet is a bed sleeper, that is OK as well! My main focus is to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible. Many folks provide me with some type of written or typed instruction. This helps me provide you with the best care possible so that whenever they come home, your pet has continued their consistent schedule. This is optional but totally cool to provide! My two babies: Benni and Bowie. They will bark at first and then in an hour they will be cuddles with your pet on the couch. It’s the weiner dog in them. 😂. They love all animals and seriously go into a small depression when your pets leave! They are highly socialized and non aggressive. Please message me with any questions you may have. I cannot wait to meet you and your pup! 🐾♥️ I am a licensed social worker and complete 0-20 hours of home visits a week. I am primarily home and my schedule revolves around taking care of the pups! “Margaret watched my pets for me while I was away on business for a few days (I have three cats and one dog). I normally ask my sisters but neither were available so I found Margaret and I’d never trust anyone with my pets besides her! My cats are pretty easygoing and just require the usual food water and snuggles. My dog can be a bit of a handful as he’s a very energetic young shiba. Margaret and him bonded immediately and she was wonderful with him!
