“Ella was unbelievable! Couldn’t have been happier with her treatment of my dog. She treated him like her own. I feel very comfortable with Ella being my dog walker going forward and will be my go to anytime I am away.”

“Jessie was very nice, she was prompt, professional, walked the whole 30min walk, and handled both of my dogs very well. They came back from their walk exhausted and I'm sure if they could talk they would say she's great too(:”

About: A lifelong dog lover with over nine years of personal experience raising my own pup and five years of dedicated dog‑sitting for friends and families. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs, always making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m currently available throughout the entire week, including weekends, and can accommodate a wide range of schedules. Early‑morning drop‑offs work perfectly for me, and I’m happy to provide flexible timing to make your routine as smooth and stress‑free as possible. I have a huge fenced in yard and have easy access to private trails by the home and the have no other pets at home.
“Autumn was really great, I live in a condo and she gratiously met me earlier in the week to meet my two dogs and pick up the keys. My two can be little barkers but they definitely took to Autumn and did well even on Halloween night. They can be barkers when I walk with them but Autumn said that the tricker treaters didn't bother them at all, so Autumn must have worked some magic with them. I totally recommend Autumn and will be asking her again in the future. Thank you so much Autumn. Appreciate you so much for doing the walk on Halloween.”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I've taken care of two dogs. I helped my parents with training our dogs and have also helped with a senior dog I am a recent college graduate just looking to take care of some pups! My schedule is very open and I am very flexible! Would love to get repeat clients! I have grown up around dogs and I adore them. I have a lot of experience with them and love working with them. When I walk them/let them out I do as the client asks, make sure they have water, toys, etc.

About: My name is Sophia and I have loved animals since I was little. I have 3 fur babies myself! Brandy, Bourbon and Whisky (my little bar cart if you will). I also have a rabbit named Toast and all 4 of them are the light of my life. Every morning I wake up and they greet me with kisses and demands for pets. Of course I always give in. I have a bachelors in large animal sciences, have volunteered at forgotten cats for years, and have worked in emergency, oncology and dermatology departments. Currently I work at another veterinary clinic that helps dogs and cats get quick emergency care for more minor issues like ear infections. With all my past experience your fluffy ones will be in good hands! Since I work during week days and sometimes weekends, I would try to be back with your pet(s) as much as possible! (I work a total of 4 days a week and my schedule can be random since I’m in veterinary emergency). Weekdays I work 3pm -11pm and weekends I would work 10am-8pm. Any other time would be spent taking your pet on walks, brushing out their fur, giving them treats and all the attention they deserve! I can stay with/walk pets before work on weekdays. Weekends I would be unable to walk them unless you are okay with my hours and I am doing overnight or long term pet sitting. I would take your dogs for walks or let them out into the yard as much as possible. I will follow instructions left by you and make sure to give many updates and pictures! I believe pictures are the best way to feel comfortable with your pets care while also getting those cute pet moments while your away!
“By the pictures alone, Ralph seems to have loved it. When we made it home, it was nice to know he was able to relieve himself while we were both unable to do so due to a strange glitch in our schedules. JEN WAS GREAT! Her communication was perfect, she was as very attentive and made me feel at ease from close to 100 miles away from home.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since high school. I graduated college in 2023 with a degree in Health Sciences. I am currently working as an aide at a physical therapy clinic, and looking to make extra money. I love pet sitting and caring for animals is one of my strong suits. I am always willing to accommodate you and your dogs needs and I will always care for them like they are my own! I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am a home body, so I am always at home and also have my mom and grandmom in the home to help if need be. In a clients home, I will leave it completely up to you, how I walk, feed, crate, etc. your dog. But I will always care for your dog as if they were my own! For pet sitting at my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I usually walk the dogs on leashes around my yard or take them to the park by my house to walk them. I can crate them anywhere in the home if needed. I also have plenty of dog toys/crates/ dog accessories from my own dog.
About: I have 3 dogs of my own who are treated like royalty. I watch my neighbors pets, dogs, cats, bearded dragon, when they are out of town. I volunteer with a dog rescue when I can, Rylie’s Rescue, transporting, and foster care. I absolutely love all animals! I work part time, 3 days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, from 11-6pm. All other days I’m completely available. I could always stop in before and after work. I prefer to watch in your home, I have 3 dogs, our Toy Australian Shepherd, has had to have surgery on 3 legs, so I rather keep him calm and not bring too much excitement to our home.
“Tristan’s kindness and love for animals was apparent from the first time we met. Great communication and she was willing to try new techniques to calm my overstimulated dog! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“This was my first time using Rover to have my dog walked. Julian was a life saver. I sent a request for the day of. He responded quickly and was able to accommodate us same day. Julian sent pictures of Lola's walk. I would definitely use Julian's services again”

About: What sets me apart is my ability to connect with pets of all ages and personalities. I have hands-on experience with both energetic puppies who need consistency and structure, as well as senior dogs who need extra patience, gentle care, and medication support. I pride myself on being calm, attentive, reliable, and adapt - making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for like my own. Even sometimes, if allowed, I will bring my pup around as well so that they can get the extra play, socialization, and affection that every dog needs! I only offer dog walking/ drop in visits. I stick to each pet’s usual route and pace, keeping them active while making sure they’re comfortable and happy by giving them the attention and affection that is needed. For drop-ins, I handle feeding, playtime, and cleanup — and always leave detailed updates and photos so you know how your pup is doing good!
“Wow! She was simply amazing with our girls! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to walk them. She usually does a meet and greet but because our booking was last minute she just trusted that our 2 golden girls would be sweet and welcoming. (Which they were). Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
