About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life. Growing up, I raised and cared for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and rabbits through 4-H, which gave me hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. I also volunteered at the Napa Animal Shelter, where I helped care for animals and learned the importance of patience, safety, and compassion. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors, including feeding, walking, playing with, and checking in on their pets while they were away. I’ve also fostered kittens, which gave me experience caring for young animals and paying close attention to their individual needs. I currently have two dogs and four cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away !!! Caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy, it's what I’ve chosen to dedicate my time to. Because pet care is my primary focus, I have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable care throughout the week. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, stick to their routine, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. With years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities, I understand that trust is everything. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra patience, I’ll provide calm, compassionate care while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll treat both your home and your pets with the same respect and care I’d expect for my own, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout every visit !!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was born. We had a lab and a labradoodle, who sadly passed away a few months ago. Now that we have an empty house, I decided to use my experience to help dog parents in need. I have a lot of experience handling horses, so I can take good care of any size dog:) I am currently on summer break, so I have availability. I am a bunny parent and have taken care of her on my own for 5 years. We just lost our dog, but he was my furry best friend for 12 years and I took care of and walked him. I have a large area outdoors for my bunny to play in safely, and she is secured in a hutch inside the play area at night to ensure safely from predators. When it is too hot or too cold, she will come inside the house and be free roam. She is fed unlimited hay, a portion of high quality pellets and a variation of fruits and veggies as treats. She is very healthy and happy and living her best life. I prioritize the health and well being of all animals.

About: As a fur mom myself, I treat other pets as if they were my own. I have two dogs and a cat. Two of them are seniors and I've had them since they were young. I believe in training basic commands, positive enforcement, and lots of snuggles. When I'm not pet sitting, I'm hanging out with my pups outside while they get their zoomies out. I'm comfortable with excited pups, counter surfers, and shy pups. We all have our quirks! I take care of our 3 pets (2 dogs, 1 cats) and their care is my top priority on my day to day. Feeding, training, and getting the zoomies out. I like to keep the dogs routine as much as possible. Some dogs can get anxious when someone new is introduced and I find it's best to keep things as simple and normal as possible.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, but I’ve had experience taking care of dogs on a dairy farm which got a little rowdy at times. I’m currently starting a job that will hopefully be full-time But might be a little shaky for a couple months so I’ll have a lot of free time to walk your dogs! I have a fenced yard and two dogs that are friendly for your puppy dog to play with. And if they just need a walk I will make sure that that puppy will have the best sleep after.

I tailor care to their unique & individual energy level and temperament, making sure they feel safe, loved, and engaged. Skills include: • Providing daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation • Administering medication and special dietary care • Following training cues and behavioral guidelines • Handling puppies, seniors, and animals with special needs • Ensuring safety and comfort during solo time or socialization • Offering basic grooming and cleanliness maintenance I’m dedicated to creating a fun, secure space for pets to thrive while their humans are away. I’m currently focused on getting a book published, which means my schedule can be flexible yet full—if you catch my drift. Working with animals not only keeps me inspired but also supports my growing business, which combines professional cleaning with attentive pet sitting. ⸻ Pet care is a meaningful and energizing part of my daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, play sessions, feeding, or simply offering quiet companionship, I prioritize pets’ well-being and happiness every day. Because I’m currently working on publishing a book, I have the flexibility to dedicate focused, consistent time to each animal I care for. This means I can adapt my schedule to meet your pet’s specific needs—whether that’s extra playtime, medication administration, or simply being a calm presence while you’re away. Our family continues to heal from the loss of our beloved cat, Giraffe, last year. Caring for animals has been a vital source of comfort and strength as we embrace this new chapter. I’m dedicated to creating a clean, calm, and nurturing environment where pets feel safe and cherished. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, my goal is always to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment tailored to their needs. In Your Home: I follow your routines closely — feeding schedules, exercise, medication, and any special instructions — so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep their space clean, respect their boundaries, and offer companionship and playtime based on their personality and energy level. I also ensure your home stays tidy and secure while you’re away. In My Home: If your pet stays with me, they’ll be welcomed into a calm, comfortable space where I prioritize consistency and care. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. I’m attentive to signs of stress or discomfort and adjust accordingly to keep them happy and relaxed. No matter the setting, I treat every animal like family — with patience, respect, and affection — ensuring they feel safe and loved throughout their stay.

About: Hello! I’m Victoria, a reliable and experienced pet sitter who provides calm, attentive care so pets feel safe and comfortable in their home. Many animals seem to relax quickly around my steady, reassuring presence. With 10 years of experience, I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs while keeping their routine consistent and low-stress. I focus on maintaining familiar schedules so pets feel secure while their family is away, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals and supporting their well-being. I’m especially good with pets who benefit from a calm, predictable environment. Clear communication and consistency are important to me so both pets and their owners feel comfortable and supported. My goal is always for you to return home to happy pets and a well-cared-for house. When house sitting, I spend a good portion of the day in your home so your pets receive companionship and stability throughout the day and evening. I specialize in steady, routine-based overnight care and do best with well-established household rhythms. For clients outside my immediate area, I begin with a video meet & greet so we can go over your pet’s routine and make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. I’m also happy to arrive a bit early on the first day to ensure a smooth, comfortable transition. If you’re looking for a reliable, thoughtful sitter who truly enjoys and understands animals, I would love to connect with you. I am currently working part time remotely and so I have plenty of time to play with your beloved pets. I'm around alot, especially for the first 3 days when they're usually missing their owners a great deal. It's helpful when the owner leaves instructions for what to do for the pets so that I am aware of their schedule because pets love to stick to routine.

About: I have been passionate about caring for dogs my whole life. I don’t currently have pets so spending time caring for animals through Rover has been amazing! I currently work remote, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule for boarding, sitting and walking pets. I have experience with young puppies, senior dogs, special needs dogs and have done dog training as well. I have been a certified Dog-walker through Wag for 5 years and have built a very happy customer base there before recently joining Rover as well. I promise your pet is in the best hands with me! I currently work remote so I have lots of time and flexibility to provide pet care. A day with me includes lots of playtime and long walks. If I ever have to leave for a short period of time, my home and yard are the perfect safe space for a dog/cat to hang out and play! Pets in my care will be given plenty of love and attention and I will always go above and beyond to make sure they are happy and their needs are met.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wingo. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Wingo.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wingo. On Rover:

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
