About: Hello there! We're Tyler and Veronica, you can call us T&V-your soon-to-be favorite house sitters! After nearly 20 years as traveling musicians, we can't resist the call of the open road. Originally from Arkansas, we've had the joy of house/pet sitting across the country and staying with incredible hosts worldwide. We both grew up with dogs and had 4 dogs early in our marriage. V started babysitting at age 10 (which included helping with pets) and has been a dog lover ever since! We can’t wait to meet your fur baby! Married for 25 fascinating years, we're passionate about animals, exploring new places, savoring delicious food, and engaging in lively conversations. House sitting allows us to help others while continuing our adventures, discovering new cities, and embracing diverse cultures. We love immersing ourselves in different neighborhoods, gaining fresh perspectives, and learning from our travels. We're excited to bring our love for life and our caring touch to your home. Let's create some great memories together! Pricing is negotiable. We take your care requests to heart and will love your fur babies as if they were our own. We take great care while sitting or walking while paying attention to the animals and their behaviors and needs.
About: I LOVE all dogs! I have had a dog in my life since I was 4, with large and medium sizes being my bread and butter. I know the little dogs can be timid but I can snuggle them until they tolerate me 😬. I am a millennial dog/cat mom, so you know I love scritches, belly rubs, snuggles, and giving treat-o’s. My dog doesn’t fetch but I’ll play with yours til the cows come home! I worked for a dog groomer as the bathing attendant for two summers as a kid, so if your babies need a quick bath while I’m there, depending on how they can handle it with a new person, I am available. I’m versed in giving pets medication, so no need to worry if your pupper needs a little something to help them stay healthy! I work from home full time currently, but if I need to leave during the day to go check on your fur baby/they’re on a bathroom/medication schedule, my boss is very lenient and lets me make up time. Walks would primarily only be available in the afternoons/evenings to avoid the heat around here. I am very organized and like to write down any rules/quirks/schedules that your pet needs to be on. I’m also not afraid to ask/answer questions, so if you’re open to conversations via the app, I’m your girl!
“Kayla did an amazing job accommodating all of our requests and made us feel very comfortable leaving our boys with her! She kept us updated and sent us all the pictures we asked for. The dogs were so comfortable I’m not even sure they realized we were gone. We will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). I’ve watched dogs for friends and family all through the years, as well. As far as cats go, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and I adopted one two years ago! His name is Walter, he’s a tabby and the sweetest boy alive, and I love taking care of him, even if he shreds my arms sometimes. Pets need love and patience, and that’s exactly what I have for them. :) I’m currently out of college classes for the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I can work with any requests you send me, so long as we have ample time to discuss everything you’re looking for. I can easily adapt to your pet’s regular schedule, including mealtimes, bedtime, medication, if they need to be crated, playtimes, etc. The comfort and happiness of your pet is my first focus.
“Madelynn is absolutely fantastic. She is responsive, attentive, and a great communicator. I really appreciated her proactively checking-in and sharing photos of my dog throughout the day. It really put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was so well taken care of. I am pretty sure she is my dog’s new BFF! I will definitely be booking her again and would highly recommend to anyone who needs a Rover.”

“Anna was amazing with our dachshund and our cat. Her comnunication was consistent and her professionalism was impeccable. Our furry babies were relaxed and happy when we came home, so we know they were loved and spoiled while we were gone. We highly recommend Anna as a sitter!”

“Rachel took great care of our dog! She watched him for 4 nights and she sent a lot of photos to keep us updated. She spent a lot of time with him and made sure he was well taken care of!”

About: I am always the first to call when someone I know needs pet care! I have also worked in a veterinary hospital with dogs and cats. As of now, I have a very open schedule. I am willing to care overnight or just drop by for a quick walk. I am flexible! I live in a home with a fenced in backyard. I have one dog and cat of my own, and my dog is crate-trained. Both get along with all animals great! My dog is a border collie mix, and is not aggressive at all. My house is also is 2 minute walk to a park with a field and walking track!
About: I have more than 10 years of experience working at shelters and boarding facilities. I love spending time with animals. I treat each of them like they are my own. I have on several occasions House-sat and dog sat for friends, family, and coworkers. I have a pretty open schedule right now. Currently on a job hunt. I am available basically any time with proper notice. I am happy to help as I can. My back yard fence was knocked down because of a tornado that tore through our town. I prefer for now to stay at the owners place and follow all rules needed to care for their babies.
“Ariel took amazing care of our dog and cat while we were away! She also sent us lots of adorable photos and took great care of our home as well. Your pets will be in great hands! Can’t recommend her highly enough!”

About: Note: I only sit animals that are up to date with vaccines and current on flea and tick prevention. I will sit any cat that isn’t aggressive with humans. I ONLY sit dogs that are KNOWN to be good with other dogs and cats unless they are under 6 months old (in that case, I am happy to help introduce them to my animals). I require clients to provide diapers/belly bands for male dogs due to the overwhelming majority of male dogs displaying marking behavior. This requirement may be waived for existing clients I have already sat for and know the dog does not mark. I have had animals my entire life. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats; one of the dogs is a stray who showed up at my house who I could not turn away. I truly have a heart for animals. All of my animals get along with each other and animals I sit through Rover as well as that I occasionally foster. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, including those that require extra attention and effort to make them comfortable. I have cared for senior cats and dogs, including at end of life stages. I am experienced in dispensing oral medications to both dogs and cats. I work from home full-time Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention as well as potty breaks. Outside of work, I am a homebody and rarely leave my house, so your babies will have consistent attention and affection with me. I follow all rules provided by my clients and will ask for permission to give treats, food, chews, etc. that are not provided by owners as well for permission to take them off my property (pup cup, hiking, etc.). As a former law enforcement officer (a decade of public service experience), safety is always my priority, and I ensure that pets are handled safely and securely.

“Kelsey took the time to get to know my dogs (one elderly Catahoula, one very shy and nervous Catahoula, and a very bouncy one-year-old Retriever) before we booked, and she was incredibly kind and patient. I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I’ve taken care of farms for over 2 weeks at a time, including cats and dogs! No animal is too much!! I’ve also pet sit for families around my area from quite sometime now! I’m currently working overnights at a hospital in town, so if you are needing your pet watched during the day I’m your gal! Cats and Dogs!! I have a cat at the moment he is good with all animals and children, I promise to give your pet just as much love as I give mine!
About: I am a responsible care taker and have enjoyed taking care of many pets, most especially dogs. Big or small. Lazy or hyper... I love animals! My name is Sharon. I am a mom and grandma. I currently work remotely from home as my primary employment. I enjoy reading literature and walking in the park. If you need someone loving and responsible to care for your pet, it could be me! I work remotely from home (on my pc) during certain scheduled hours through out the week for my primary job. Since my work is flexible it leaves plenty of time for quality pet care. I plan to drive to my client's home and take care of their pets as per their wishes. I also have a fenced in yard and a sidewalk where I live so pet sitting at my home is also an option.
About: I like dogs and I'm good at caring for them. I'm responsible and nurturing. We have two dogs, Olive and Lady. I'd love to meet you and your babies. I would feed them and care for them before work and after. I would also be willing to stop by on my lunchbreak. We can work out the details together. I play with them on leashes outside or in fenced in areas. I will change water, feed, and give treats as needed. I can spend time there at the home with your pet as requested.
“Mimi was absolutely wonderful!!! She was so nice and accommodating! She’s was great with Pickle and even helped her feel better when her tummy acted up. I hope to use Mimi as a sitter moving forward!”

About: Hello!! My name is Leo and I’m a fine arts student here at the University of Arkansas. I’ve been in Fayetteville all my life and love our local art scene. I have two cats named Pumpernickel and Belladonna, and I adore animals! I pet sit on a weekly basis for several friends of mine while they’re out of town or working, and I love spending time with their animals. During summer break, I’ll be able to spend as much time with your animals as you need! As long as I’m able to go check on my babies once a day, I don’t mind spending plenty of time giving tlc to your little critters. During the semester, I’ll only have classes on tuesday and thursday, which gives me plenty of time to be with your babies. I’m always flexible, and do my best to accommodate every need. I’m a big fan of cuddles and love, and am very understanding with special needs. I love sweet animals and I especially love spending time with them. Be as particular in your instructions as you need, I’m very detail oriented and a chronic double checker.

FAQs for House Sitting - Winfrey
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 358 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Winfrey. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Winfrey walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Winfrey maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Winfrey choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Winfrey. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
