“Sitter was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I also appreciated the photo and chat updates to see what my dog was up to! Dog was happy when I picked him up.”

“Ekaterina and her family did such an amazing job with my very shy, reserved labradoodle. He spent the entire day at their home and upon pickup, he was calm, content and happy. I highly recommend Ekaterina and we look forward to using her again!”

About: I can handle dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. My regular clients includes dogs as small as a Rat Terrier and as large as a Weimaraner. I don't currently have other pets or small children at home, so no worries if your furry friend is not accustomed to that! I work 5 hrs a day , so I have plenty of time to play and be company to your pups. All other availability is on a case by case basis. Overnight is available most days per week. I have a fenced in yard and a quiet street near a local park to ensure high levels of activity. Inside, pets will get plenty of cuddles on the couch.
“As usual Levi had a great time with Jessica. He was tired and ready for bed when we came home which was perfect since it was late. Jessica was very accommodating to us running behind schedule due to traffic.”

“This was Oreo’s second day here and it was just as amazing as the first. He is almost 12, very particular about people, and not the easiest dog to win over — so the fact that he was excited to go back says everything. As chaotic as our day was, it was such a huge relief knowing he was happy, comfortable, and in such good hands. Jackie’s flexibility, kindness, and obvious love for dogs really stood out. It is not easy to find someone you fully trust with your dog, especially one with a picky personality, but this truly feels like a safe, loving, and comfortable home for him. We are so grateful to have found Jackie and will absolutely continue to book again (already have) 😉”

“I am very happy I found Jose. He took my babies in at the last minute and was great at keeping in contact with me and sending pics and videos. If I ever travel back here with my pups again he will be my go to.”

“Mauree was amazing with my pup. She actively sent lots of photos and videos. Every time he is over there, he has a great time with the other dogs! I recommend booking with her 10/10!!!”

About: Hi! My name is Angelica. I am a college student and I am majoring in Biology. I am a dog mom to a 3-year-old American bully. I have a lot of experience taking care of dogs because I have always either had pets or family and friends have trusted me to take care of their fur babies. Currently I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am willing to work with you to set a schedule that will work for both of us. About: Hi, I’m Meghan! Animals have been a massive part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a house full of dogs taught me early on how to connect with different breeds, energies, and personalities. Later, I turned that passion into dog walking for several years for dogs of all ages and sizes. There's not a dog size I haven't care for yet from tiny corgi puppies to enormous great danes. Today, my heart belongs to me and my fiancé Jason's large 9 year old rescue dog, Blu. Blu is the chillest, sweetest boy who loves to walk, cuddle, and run laps around the dog park. He gets along with everyone and would be happy to join for playtime if your babies are comfortable with him! I work full time remotely, so I am home all day to love on your baby. I am also a runner and would be happy to take your dog with me on a run if they're up for it! I have a fenced in dog park in our complex and plenty of walking paths right in the neighborhood. My apartment is comfortable, cool, and has plenty of room and blankets for chilling out. I also have a fenced balcony deck for catching some sunshine. Blu is a big fan!
“Today was Tucker’s first visit to Jacqueline. He said he had a great time and can’t wait to go back!! Very easy to see Jacqueline really cares about the dogs and takes good care of them.”

I look forward to meeting your furry best friend. I'm available in full capacity for your pet. For Boarding we start in the morning with -walk -food- playtime- walk - food and at last walk before bed. I will provide service depending on your pet's needs and service requested. Whether you need 30minutes walk , full day or boarding I will adjust my schedule accordinly.
“Armani had a great time during his sit as he came back energetic and super playful! They also provided constant updates which I absolutely loved. They definitely took care of my puppy, so I highly recommend!”

About: Pet care experience 🐕🐈I’ve been taking care of both dogs and cats since my childhood, dog and cat mom myself ❤️ 🌟Have 15 years of experience, started pet sitting/dog walking for my friends and neighbors when they were on vacation. 🐾I truly enjoy to take care of pups and kitties! I have a puppy who lives with me and two kitties living with my parents! I also participate in taking care of puppies from our local rescue when they need help. 🐱🐶I’m going to do my best to make sure your furry friend is comfortable and having a good time while you are away! I will walk, feed, play with them (or cuddle together) do medical care (if needed) and can also assist in training and obedience (per request). I'm working from home and my schedule is pretty open for new guests. I can provide walks up to 3 times a day and with any potty breaks as needed. My home is dog friendly and my neighbor has a Shiba Inu dog. He is very friendly and gladly will go for a walk together to play.
“This was our first time ever doing doggy sitting. My dog got along with Bhavani and left happy. She sent me videos and photos of my pup and him settled in their home. Great first experience!”

“A returned customer. Yanina is very patient and accommodating. She made sure our puppy’s specific needs were cared for and was very understanding when we were late for pickup.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Winfield commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
