“Tess was awesome! We hired her to do two 30-min walks on a weekend afternoon and she was great. Extremely communicative and on top of what she was doing. One the first walk, they got caught in a rain storm and had the wherewithal to message me to ask for a towel rather than just letting our dog air dry in the house. The second walk was hot and muggy and it was great to know that Tess was paying attention to our dog (per her summary) and when our dog was getting tired, she catered to River. We will be using Tess again!”

About: I’ve always had pets since I can remember. Each and everyone was special to me. I greatly enjoy all pets. My friends and colleagues always love for me to take care of their pets because they know I will treat them like my own. I am currently working full-time at home. I am Monday through Friday with no weekends currently. I am happy to assist with pet needs in the evenings during the week and can do more during the weekends. About: I have 2 dogs currently, and have had lots of different pets growing up. I have cat and dog sat for family and neighbors. I have also taken care of and helped out with foster kitties. I am currently working part time in the evenings and doing online school. I am available some full days of the week, every morning, mid day, or overnight. I am currently not able to bring client pets to my home. I am able to go to client houses during the day or overnight as needed.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and I adore them. I have two dogs of my own, a 12 year old Border Collie mix and a two year old Australian Shepherd, and I volunteer down at the Richmond Animal Shelter every week so I'm used to handling a variety of dogs! I have a very flexible schedule and I would love to work with dogs of any activity level, age, or size! I definitely understand the importance of frequent potty breaks, consistent meal times, and lots of love and playtime! Also, punctuality is something that I take very seriously so you won't have to worry about me being late! About: Former teacher now at home all day! I have two little ones that attend preschool in the mornings, so afternoon and morning walks are great! I’ve had dogs & cats all my life. I currently have two dogs - a lab and golden and a huge fenced in yard. I currently am at home all day! So free majority of the time and my days are very flexible if need be! Happy to offer in home and drop in visits as well. I have a friendly 2 year old lab, a one year old golden, and two cats. All of my animals are very friendly. You can trust me to care for your pets simply because I’ll love them like they’re mine!

About: I’ve been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors pets since I was 10 years old. I’ve taken care of animals of all ages from puppies to senior animals. I work at a school, so this is not my full time job. It would be best to contact me directly for my availability and to figure out what works best for you and your pet(s). I prefer to do meet and greets so I can see the pet(s) usual environment and learn more about where I’ll be staying. I never take pets outside without a leash on for safety reasons.

About: I love animals! I believe your fur baby is more than just a pet, they are a member of your family. I have cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and employers for years, and I will always treat them with love and care. I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. My only available time to assist with pets throughout the work week would be after 5pm. I am very flexible on weekends! I unfortunately will not have the room to care for pets in home yet. However, I can care for pets at your home. I will make sure your dog or cat has all the love and attention it needs and go above and beyond on making sure your pet feels comfortable and happy.

About: I have been blessed to grow up with a variety of animals in and around my home. I’ve had a variety of dogs that have ranged from 12lbs to 200lbs. I’ve also had cats in the home, as well. I have taken care of the basics of feeding them, giving clean water (daily), maintaining the litter box (as needed) and even giving insulin injections (to both felines and dogs). I’ve trained many of my larger breed dogs and my service dog. Bathing, feeding, walking and not just for my pets, but also friends & family. Since my sweet Bella (pictured) passed I actually have a 20lb Boston Terrier, named Lucy, now. I also live on a farm where we have 3 miniature horses and one thoroughbred big boy. I’m very flexible in my schedule and if I was needed to stay for extended periods of time, my animals would be taken care of. I’ve been on medical disability for 4 1/2yrs now. Other than my appointments I have throughout the week, my only other commitment is the upkeep of my home and taking care of my animals. I would not be bringing clients pets to my home, as it’s a spacious and fenced in yard; however, we have one dog who doesn’t play well with others. In a client’s home, unless asked by the owner, the only thing I would remove from the home (temporarily), would be the pet. I’m very cautious with another’s fur baby; so, I would treat it as my own with love, snuggles and a gentle touch. I’m always aware of my surroundings, especially with something so precious, to another. I’ve always been described as very trustworthy and compassionate, with people, as well as, with their animals. Pampering and maintaining a secure environment for your animal(s), no matter the type or the amount you may have. This way, you know that one of your family members is in the best hands possible while you take a vacation for your own self-care.

About: I’ve been watching both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors for a few years now, and now that I have more flexibility in my schedule I would love to provide my services to others! I’m currently pet sitting full time after moving up to the area and have a ton of flexibility to take care of your pets! If i’m not on vacation, i’m usually free to help :) I live in an apartment in the city with my three-year-old chihuahua mix, Archie! About: I’ve had pets nearly my whole life and have been known to struggle to walk past an animal in need. This means rescuing an injured squirrel, a Cooper’s hawk, an opossum, and more, going the extra mile even when it was deeply inconvenient for me to do so. I also grew up attending zoo camp and then volunteering at a zoo from age 5 to 14, caring for a wide range of animals. I have worked with high energy pitties, a blind and anxious German shepherd, birds, cuddly kitties, fearful kitties, diabetic kitties, rabbits, and others. I have administered shots, IVs, medications, eye drops, and more. I am persistent and typically can win over even the shyest and most anxious fur baby. I have a genuine love for caring for pets and would be honored to care for yours! I am currently carefully thinking about my next full time role and working part time. My partner is an immigrant seeking employment during a time when that is extremely difficult due to the political situation. Any supplemental income is incredibly helpful for me as we navigate. I have a reliable vehicle, plenty of time to play with your pets, and love to love on them. I have a reliable car and I keep my word. I am communicative, honest, and truly love animals.
