About: I've been around dogs and cats for many years and genuinely enjoy caring enjoy caring for animals of all ages and personalities. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have helped take care of my neighbor's dogs, including senior dogs that required extra attention and daily medication. I have experience caring for smaller older dogs making sure that there comfortable, safe, and following any special instructions provided by their owners. but I'm always happy to provide equally the same services for larger dogs and cats also .I understand the importance of maintaining a solid routine, and administering any medications needed on schedule, and providing patients and companionship to pets who may need a little extra care. I treat every pet as if they were my own.my goal is to make pet and pet parent feel comfortable, confident and at ease I work as a substitute teacher and I'm self-employed to my hours are very flexible . which allows me to have an open schedule so that I can dedicate the appropriate time and attention need for the care of your pets. I prefer going to the clients home and I follow their instructions to the tee when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of the fur baby.
“She paid great attention to detail and my dog, Moose, clearly enjoyed his time with her! I loved the picture updates and how responsive she was over text. Will definitely rebooking!”

“An amazing sitter. I would recommend her to pet sit more. For a beginner, she's sweet and understanding. And ask me questions about my dog and cat. Takes good pictures of my pets.”
About: Ive been around pets all my life! I started raising dogs when I was 11 and have helped friends and nieghbors with their dogs and cats since I was 15. Tasks have ranged from small check-ins with pets, to staying overnight to keep them company. Right now I work at a local food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sundays are also a busy day for me, but I can be very flexible and move times around with enough notice. I have one black short haired cat that I spend most of my time with. She stays indoors, but I let her come out on my back deck to get some air and a better view of the birds and chipmunks she always has beef with. She's the most hyperactive and persnicity cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so I'm experienced with cats who have their own ways of playing.
“So very happy, pleased and excited with the wonderful job Samantha did while caring for our dog. Samantha communicated daily with updates, made certain that all medications were given as directed, and left our house in excellent shape despite the rain, muddy footprints, and shedding of our lab! My husband and I look forward to having Samantha take care of our dog in the future.”
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud dog mom myself, so I know just how much our pets mean to us. I have dogs of my own and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks. Whether your fur baby needs an overnight sitter, walks, playtime, meals, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like family and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I have two sweet doggies named Leo & Sparky who are 7 and 8 years old! I am a stay at home mom, so I’m very used to having a busy routine centered around caring for others. I also have dogs of my own, and taking care of animals fits naturally into my everyday life. I’m comfortable with routines, schedules, feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Im a mom and I have dogs of my own, so I’m pretty used to taking care of everyone and keeping up with a routine 😂. When I’m watching someone else’s pets, I really just treat them like they’re my own. I’ll follow whatever routine they’re used to, make sure they’re fed and let out, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and of course lots of cuddles if they’re into that. I’ll also respect your home and leave things the way I found them. I know I’d be nervous leaving my own pets with someone, so I want you to feel comfortable knowing they’re being loved and taken care of while you’re gone. 🐾❤️
“Blanca was amazing! She was very attentive with my dogs and was very communicative with me! She was a lifesaver with a last minute cancellation and really put my mind at ease. My dogs loved her and she even worked on training while I was away. I am very appreciative for her!”

“Laurin was great! She stayed at our house to watch our 2 dogs. She was very communicative and sent several updates/photos while we were away; I never had to ask how things were going. She left our house neat and clean (and washed our bed sheets)! Our dogs are happy and seem like they had a great, stress-free weekend! We'll definitely be reaching out to Laurin again in the future.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Windmere walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Windmere maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Windmere choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
