About: I grew up with dogs of my own and in more recent years have accumulated a few cats as well. I have had some experience working in an animal hospital and have been trusted by family and friends to care for their pets for years. I have a very caring and gentle approach, but can care for pets of all sizes. I have cared for seniors and have been known to spoil pets rotten. Pet care is my sole focus and at this time my schedule is very open. I am available any time and day of the week. Personally, I view animals more as my equal and friend rather than pets. I strive to understand and respect their boundaries and let them be their natural selves rather than expecting them to act as a human. I let my animals see me as their friend who simply shares a home with mutual respect for each other. However, I am very good at following instructions and upholding any rules that any pet owners may have for their homes.

I will make sure that the pets remain safe while still having fun with them and showing them care.

About: As a former zookeeper, I have been able to care for and work with so many animals beyond just cats and dogs: owls, macaws, sloths, flamingos, anteaters, reptiles of all shapes and sizes! That being said, I have always been a dog person and have taken care of other people's pets since I was 15. That particular part of my resume (dog sitting and walking) spans from walking pairs of huskies through the suburbs of Charlotte as a teenager, to walking guest's french bull dogs and what-have-you at the RV park I worked at in Wyoming! I am available for drop-ins and walks, and potentially pet sitting if they are able to stay at my house (2 acres, spacious interior, 2 welcoming dogs). I myself have owned dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, chickens, ducks and horses and am available to check in on all of the above. I can thaw out a rat and feed a snake, make sure your tarantula is still alive and well, and clean a bird cage - you name it I've probably done it! I currently work full time at Wild Heart Brewing which takes up my evenings between Wednesday and Saturday. I also work at a horse barn on Thursday/Friday mornings. Between all that I am able to fit in a few house visits and walks on those days, and have open availability on Mondays and Tuesdays. In my own home, I have a senior dog who mostly naps and a puppy who mostly plays, but is either with me at the horse barn (he's an excellent farm dog!) or crated when I'm not home. My own property is 2 acres and not fenced in, which is fine for my 2 boys who stay with me, but I would keep a client's dog on a long leash and on me at all times. My house is very dog friendly and I have a crate, doggie gate, lots of water dishes, and plenty of beds and toys.

About: I am currently in school to become a veterinary technician. In the last few years, I have worked in veterinary medicine in both day practice and well over a year in Emergency Animal Medicine where I have gained a great deal of experience. During the last few years, I have also done pet sitting on the side and have absolutely loved every second of it. I have the ability to watch a variety of animals with many different needs. I am pet sitting full-time in which I am available at any time, day or night. I look forward to meeting all needs of all of my clients. Pet safety is extremely important to me so I will make sure your baby is safe no matter what the circumstances are. Unexpected things can happen but I ensure your pet's safety comes before mine. I will also ensure my care follows the normal routine of my client in order to take utmost care of the pets.

About: I own my own house I have 3 dogs of my own as well as 2 cats. I treat animals like family and will happily treat yours the same way. I’m home full time so I am very flexible with schedules. I hope to be able to put your concerns and worry’s at ease. When away from your pets I’ll happily send pictures and updates if you’d like I’ve been around animals my entire life. I have my own means of transportation and can accommodate pretty much any special requests or requirements needed for each and every pet. I will happily brush, walk, feed, give medicine, bathe, And play with your baby’s as needed i currently stay home, so I have more than enough time to accommodate any schedule needs. I am beyond flexible and willing to work with you and your fur babies I have experience with injured dogs, as well as injured cats. I have plenty of dog crates if necessary to crate either my dogs or yours! Treating them with lots of love is the top priority. I always want to make your baby feel safe

Mikayla follows directions and meets our expectations every time. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”

“Mikey has been absolutely amazing in helping me with training my dog Theo, and has taught me extremely helpful skills to use both for getting him to listen better and stop pulling as much when I take him out on walks!
