Dog Walkers in Wilson Heights, IL

About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time outside of these times. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: With over 3 years of experience living with dogs and cats, I treat every pet like family. I offer a calm, trustworthy presence that keeps tails wagging. I’m currently working remotely, so caring for my maltese typically has been a breeze! I maintain a feeding, grooming, exercise, and mental enrichment routine with my dog. I feed my dog 2x a day and walk her for 30 minutes in the evening. Since she’s crate trained, she enjoys lounging around her bed while I work.

About: I have 6+ years of experience taking care of pets for neighbors, family, and friends. This includes walking, feeding, letting out, playing with, etc. I am experienced with all age of pets and have grown up with 3 dogs and a cat (along with many fish and 2 lizards). I love all animals and I would love to meet and take care of yours. I am a college student home for the summer currently working part-time at Tropical Sno, so I will have plenty of time of time to come by and see your pets most days/times. I will do my best to keep everything clean and the same as when I arrived. I will clean up after both myself and the pets.

Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow, I absolutely love them all. I have a 11 year old black lab, who’s slowed down a lot. She is my everything. She just can’t move like she used to and I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. About: I have been caring for pets of every single kind since I was 8-9 years old. Everyone around me has for sure given me multiple jobs to take care of their animals. Feed, bathe, walk, etc. I also have experience in working in the animal field. I have worked at Metro East Humane Society, and have taken care of many animals. Given them shots, their medications, microchips, etc. I love all kind of animals. I have 2 dogs but only one of my dogs are able to keep your dog company. I have a kennel in case anything happens. I also have a big 9x9 play pen that would keep any animal in. I have several years of experience with pet walking, quick visits and house-sitting for clients, coworkers, family and friends. Maximum time I've lived-in was 2 weeks, and most animals cared for at once was 7! (2 birds, 2 dogs and 3 cats.) I will pet-sit any age, any size, any breed. If you need your pet taken to the vet, groomer, or a friend, I have reliable transportation to do so. I'll even pick up supplies and food if you provide the payment for it, and if requested, I can sweep, dust, vaccum, and overall tidy up!
