“We dropped our 1.5-year-old (Energy!!!) Australian Shepard, Beta, with Meg & family and we left saying, "What a perfect fit. He is in such great hands". Meg sent us updates and photos throughout Beta's stay. They took him on long walks, explored the creek, and played with him at the house. When we picked him back up it was like he was part of the family! They took amazing care. Would book again and again and again.”

“AMAZING!! Mike watched our sensitive, kind of awkward and very large dog for 10 days and I could not say enough good things. Our dog was on the bed and sofa, under the covers and looked really happy. He is expensive but worth every dollar for the piece of mind knowing our dog was happy and safe going in long walks twice a day! I will be using him again.”

“When you love your pets like any other family member there is a warmness you feel in your heart when they are taken care of. We were so excited to find someone responsive, friendly, easy to work with and most of all someone our fur baby was sooo comfortable and safe with. From the first message to the drop off to the pick up and all the adorable pics of our pet living his best life,,, she was the best!!!! I cannot say enough nice things about Randy and the peace of mind it gives us to have such an amazing person and place to take care of our dog. Huge thank you!!!!!”

“Taylor was wonderful with Homer. He had a blast and she took lots of pictures during his stay. She took him on hikes and he had his own little vacation while we were out of town. Highly recommend”

“Katherine did an amazing job with our 10-month-old anxious puppy. She took her on plenty of walks and gave her all the extra snuggles she needed, making us feel incredibly comfortable leaving our sweet girl for four days. It’s hard to find someone we trust with an anxious pup, so we highly recommend Katherine and will definitely be using her again!”

“Meredith was fantastic! She accommodated us with only a days notice so that we could enjoy our anniversary dinner while traveling and have our pup cared for in the comfort of AC! She was kind, frequently communicated, was punctual, and even shared photos and updates with us to help us feel at ease about leaving our little guy. Would definitely trust Meredith with our dog in the future, should we find ourselves back in Jackson and in need of a sitter!”

“Liza and her daughter were wonderful!!! Our 7month old Labrador stayed with them for the day while we hiked Jenny Lake. I think he had just as wonderful of a time- they played, went to the park, and did their own hike as well. He was one tired puppy after. Both were very sweet with him and sent great pictures. I’m sure they are in high demand, but it was a wonderful day for all of us and we are so glad we found them. Wishing them all the best and would love to day care again if we are back in Jackson. :)”

“Our dog was lucky enough to stay with Lauren recently while we were visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Lauren and her family seemed to adore my dog and treated her like another member of the family, even letting her sleep in their bed! Lauren responded promptly to my inquiries for how she was doing, and even though I had poor cell signal in the national parks, I felt confident that my dog was in great hands! Lauren is gentle and easy-going and my dog was immediately at ease. I would use her again if we are ever in the area!”

“We feel really fortunate to have found such a special carer in Dana. Our sweet guy, Gully, had an amazing time with her crew while we were out of town for 4 nights. It was wonderful to know he was safe and busy, and Dana kept us up to date on all his adventures with tons of pictures and videos. He came home happy and tuckered out, but we can already tell he can’t wait to go back.”

“Kara and her husband were very nice and made our pups really welcome and happy. They took them for walks in the snow and they loved it. We look forward to seeing them again in the future.”

“I am so happy with our experience with Gabriela. We were in town for a few days and wanted to hike some trails where dogs aren’t allowed. We boarded our dog Libby with Gabriela for a few days and it seemed to go great! Libby loved Gabriela and her dog. Our Libby is very energetic and requires oral medications — Gabriela seemed great with this. She also was an excellent communicator both leading up to and during the booking. I highly recommend Gabriella — I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!”

“Elizabeth did a wonderful job taking care of our Walden! She’s conveniently located in Grand Teton NP, which made for easy drop off and pick up while we explored the NP. She had a positive friendly energy, was flexible, and was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend Elizabeth for sitter services, especially if you’re visiting the Grand Tetons!”

“Tracey is a wonderful person to watch your fur baby. Our dog, Brooke had the best time at her place. She loved playing with her dog and going for walks. I would highly recommend using Tracey!”

“Eric was amazing - accommodated our puppy and elderly dog at the last minute. Eric has a great outdoor open space for dogs to run and play and work. Our elderly dog ate all her meals but is usually very anxious when she has sitters and doesn’t eat. Both dogs ate and slept well at Eric’s home. We were so grateful to find Eric, his flexibility, videos and updates he sent us during their stay, Eric’s quick responses, and grateful for his knowledge and his way with our dogs.”

Many sitters in WY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
