“Lena did a great job with or 2 cats and 3 dogs including a dog with a developmental disability! We got lots of pictures while we were away including some with the tell tale blurred tail. Proof positive of wagging tails. All are pets are rescues, one recent Finn, who is still learning to trust new people. She passed the Finn test with flying colors!”

Deborah also left our home as clean as when we left. We're planning on having Deborah stay in our home again soon to care for Leo. I’m a clear and responsive communicator and will always listen to how you want your pet cared for. I also enjoy going for runs and hikes, so if your dog has a lot of energy, we will get along well! I’m excited to meet your pet(s)! I am able to do overnights with pets and can visit them during mornings, midday, and nights. I can take last minute bookings. I work a flexible schedule during the week. I make sure to assess the comfortability of the animal before settling into the house. I try to keep it a quiet atmosphere until the animal feels comfortable being around me. I make sure that they are my priority and I give them full attention given that they're most likely stressed. I will respect the owners house and belongings.

Since we have no fence, she had to leash and walk the dogs a lot, and modify for the old limpy dog versus the young bouncy one. She left my house looking beautiful and even did the laundry! About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to spend as much time as needed with your pets if it makes you, or them, more comfortable! I’m comfortable caring for pets in new environments. I can crate, feed, walk, and play with your animals, and will be clean and respectful to your space and home.

About: I have had dogs my whole life, and understand the need to make sure your pup is safe while you are gone. I have been dog sitting and house sitting for a few years now and would love to help out others. I am new to the area and only here for the summer! So I have a lot of free time and would love to be able to take a furry friend hiking and out for adventures as often as possible! Im totally ok to do drop ins or stay at a home, whatever works best for you. I am a pretty active person and love to take them on runs or out on walks whenever possible.

About: I've owned a dog ever since I was 12 years old. Dogs have gotten me through the best and worst parts of my life. I have a background in physical therapy and massage and for years I enjoyed bringing my dog to work every day, she became the nursing home mascot, seeing the joy she brought to both my patients and coworkers made every day at work a great day :). I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. Dogs are free to all areas of home without restriction. Unfortunately, my husband and I are allergic to cats so I am unable to board them. I do have a 3 year old daughter, so if boarding, pet must be good around children. I also do not board or provide in home services for dogs that are exposed to smoking or vaping of any kind. Please note; when providing pet care services, I will never leave a dog unsupervised, or under the care of anyone other than myself.
