“I left my little dog with Christina for a few hours, and the experience was fantastic. Christina is very comfortable with dogs and engaged with mine immediately. She took excellent care of my dog, providing pictures and updates throughout the stay, and always responded promptly in our communications. I highly recommend Christina as a wonderful host.”

“Brian and his wife Ruchi were amazing with my dog for her first round of daycare with them. My dog is not the easiest due to anxiety from her background. They were patient and caring - they let my dog be herself and get comfortable in a new space with new people. I really appreciated the attention and thoughtful questions so that all parties could have a positive experience. I would recommend Brian and Ruchi for anyone looking for care for their family.”

“Carolyn was easy to communicate with and went out of her way to pick up and drop off my pups. I was visiting the area for the weekend and needed someone to care for my two goldendoodles for the day. Carolyn sent me pics partway through the day so I could see what they were up to and when she brought them back they were happy and healthy.”

“Bre was absolutely wonderful. Her communication with this nervous Dog-Mom was super reassuring. She even sent me pictures so I could see how well he was doing. If we ever make it back to Burlington, I will definitely call-on Bre again!!”

About: I have a lot of experience working with animals and I love being around them. I have a full time job as a veterinary technician and have worked at an emergency clinic. I am willing to give medication to animals if needed. I have two big dogs and cats of my own. I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals from pocket pets to farm animals. I am willing to stop by and care for animals in your home, take them for walks, play with them. I am mostly available on my days off from work but I would be available other nights of the week to do drop in visits or be willing to have your animal stay with me. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am mostly available on my days off from work but I can also do drop in visits after I am finished with work if needed. I care for pets depending on your specific instructions.I will always maintain a safe environment that works best for your specific pet and their needs.

About: I've owned a dog ever since I was 12 years old. Dogs have gotten me through the best and worst parts of my life. I have a background in physical therapy and massage and for years I enjoyed bringing my dog to work every day, she became the nursing home mascot, seeing the joy she brought to both my patients and coworkers made every day at work a great day :). I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. Dogs are free to all areas of home without restriction. Unfortunately, my husband and I are allergic to cats so I am unable to board them. I do have a 3 year old daughter, so if boarding, pet must be good around children. I also do not board or provide in home services for dogs that are exposed to smoking or vaping of any kind. Please note; when providing pet care services, I will never leave a dog unsupervised, or under the care of anyone other than myself.

“Maddy was incredibly easy to communicate with when booking my dog and very accommodating of the fact he is still being trained/working on some issues from the rescue and therefore cannot be left unsupervised. She kept me updated on how he was doing and he seems to have had a good time. I absolutely would recommend booking with Maddy and will do so again next time I need someone to watch Tucker.”

About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. I try to keep them on their normally scheduled routine and work with the pet parent to make sure they are comfortable or have any special requests.

“I am extremely impressed with Dionna! I asked her to watch my dog Sprinkles when I went on vacation. I gave her directions of how to take care of Sprinkles and she followed step by step. She updated me frequently and didn't hesitate to ask questions if unsure of something. Highly recommend!!”
