I grew up with animals in my childhood home and am very comfortable with animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I have trained, raised and cared for several dogs myself. Daisy was a golden retriever, Zoe was my golden rough collie mutt, Molly was my 10-lb mutt, Charlie was my very sick mutt, Jess was my hyper husky blue heeler mutt, and now I have Frida. Frida is a sweet girl who loves to work. She is a border collie Australian Shepard mutt who came with me from ND. We are working on learning tricks and trying our hand at herding. Yes when I am with your dog we will work on basic obedience, manners, games, and tricks if you should like. I also have some experience with cats and would love more experience. I fostered a very sick kitten last year and have been around lots of friends’ and families’ cats. If there should be other animals that I have not worked with before, I would be happy to learn how to do so. And I would take my time to ensure I follow your care instructions thoroughly. In my home I have a six foot fenced yard and a border collie policing the yard haha. I have one large wire kennel and one medium sized wire kennel that will house your dog should I need to run a quick errand. When I am in your home, I will be responsible and respectful. I am a vegetarian and love forming connections with pets and animals. My very first paycheck earned was after cat sitting for my neighbor at 10 years old. Since then I have worked over night as a house sitter/pet sitter, drop-in pet feeder, and have raised and litter box trained my own three cats since they were just a few weeks/months old. About: I have had pets all my life and have pet sitter and walked dogs for family members since i was young. I have also worked in a veterinary hospital and have had training on how to safely handle pets of all sizes, and how to deal with their temperaments. I have 6 pets of my own so caring for them is a big part of my daily life. I have three dogs (2 of which are puppies!) and three cats who are very playful and are very close to me. I am a full time student working towards a medical laboratory science career. Because of this, i will be in the lab/school from 8-5 every weekday except holidays. I understand that this may not fit well with some pets needs and am happy to answer any questions about my schedule! I have a large fenced yard for my dogs who like to be very active and we have lots of toys around the house to play with them and the cats all day long. On nicer days we take my dog to the farmers market or dog park to walk around. I would be able to care for your pets on walks if they are harnessed and leashed so they are secure and cannot escape.

About: Through and through Hoosier here. I am originally from Decatur, IN but relocated to the beautiful '07 of Fort Wayne! I went to college at IUFW for Medical Imaging and completed my Bachelor's degree. I am pursuing this opportunity to explore and familiarize myself more with the community - as well as all the amazing pups! I grew up with 3 dogs and a cat, so I am well versed in the fur baby community! I currently have a full time job Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday so I am looking to pick up some pet care work on Tuesdays and the weekends! I have a fenced in back yard as well and a large basement suited for caring for animals in an overnight manner. I do have a cat that lives in the house who will be on the second story.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 4 when I got my first dog. I currently have two cats and would love a dog but my schedule won't provide me enough time to take proper care of one. I am great with training puppies and giving medications. I’m currently a Preschool Intervention Specialist and have my own special education preschool classroom through Lima City Schools. I currently teach August-May. My availability mainly opens up during the summer but love to help out during the school year around my teaching contract. I look forward to working with you! About: Our pets are one part of our busy lives but we are their WHOLE life! They deserve nothing but the best and that’s where I can help you out! 😊 I currently work part-time as a 2nd shift server so my mornings are free, I almost always have Sundays off, and my shifts are no more than 6 hours long at the most! I have two friendly male golden retrievers who are great with other dogs/cats. I also own a crate if that is requested for overnights/crate training. Your pet would have free roam of my house (as my boys do) unless requested otherwise. I also live near many trails/walking areas/parks!
