About: I have always taken care of animals whether they were mine or my friends. From dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, goats, horses, chicken, turkeys, hamsters, you name it. I currently work full time from home and in the office 2 days a week. I have 3 doodles, 1 cat, 1 rabbit at home. I can do daily stays in and out of my range , overnight stays in areas in and outside of my range , local drop ins only.

About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. We used to bread great danes so I can work well with puppies. :) I currently work part time, I work most mornings till about 10am and am free after that. I can watch animals on weekend afternoons or evenings. I would like a set schedule with someone if that works out. I have a big back yard and a very loving great dane to keep company. I also have a pin for my dog if for some reason they don't get along. Also a cat poll in my house for those who need cats watched.

About: I have always had many animals from rabbits to birds to fish, and of course dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and love making bonds with them as well as making them feel loved and safe. I am in grad school so have school every day Monay-Friday, off on Thursday's but I am extremely flexible. I have school most days 8:30-4pm. I care for pets in my home by making sure they have access to fresh food and water, regular exercise, and a clean and safe environment. I also make time to give them attention and all the love. If caring for a pet in a client’s home, I would follow the client’s specific instructions and routines for feeding, walking, grooming, and other pet-care needs. I would also make sure the pet’s environment is safe and clean while respecting the client’s home, preferences, and routines!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve always had animals in my household. Neighbors, family, and friends have always trusted me to watch their furry friends while they were away. I work part time at a school from august to may. I have plenty of time every day at home to watch and play with your animals. I have a large fenced in yard for my dogs at home. I live with parents so my dogs have multiple people to let them out and play when needed. In clients homes I let them out often and I am able to walk them and play with them frequently.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 6 years. I’ve also worked for a dog daycare/boarding facility where I was trained in Fear Free dog handling. Outside of official pet care experience, I grew up with three family dogs! I work as a barista tuesday-Friday 6am-12pm. My shifts are never longer than 6 hours, so accounting for travel time, I would be gone 7 hours at a time max. At my dog daycare job, I took courses on the “Fear Free” technique. Fear free techniques encompass a considerate approach, gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and creating a calm environment. Listening to the behavior cues of the pet is most important to me.

I am comfortable enough with all animals that with some instruction I can care for anything. Experience in administering medication, even with cats. Patient with all animal personalities. I am very detail oriented and thorough. Reliable and great with instructions. I love animals and since semi-retiring I thought it would be nice to spend time caring for them when owners are on vacation or just need a little extra help. I practice reward based motivation. Semi-retired with plenty of time to play with and care for your animals. Happy to care for in home or take for walks. I can do multiple drop-ins a day. “Darcie was a wonderful! We had to leave our 3.5 month puppy, Bender overnight and were worried that he would have a hard time adjusting to a boarding facility. Darcie was the pet sitter we contacted. She was great and despite her busy week made time to meet with us. When we explained Bender was a shy pup she made extra effort to come see him before we left at our house to get him familiar with her. We received several pictures and updates through the day/night she was at our house. She also volunteered to work with him to overcome his timidness. He is shy of walks but went out with Darcie very comfortably!”

Every pet I’ve ever had the pleasure of loving has been in my life from the time they came home until they passed. Your pet will be able to roam free or be crated if that is your typical routine! They are able to go out to potty every 30mins- an hour and playtime is all day! Feeding schedule varies on the pet and the preferences of the owner. We provide lots of fresh treats always! About: We have had pets in our home since I was born and I have had my own personal pets since I was 12. I have given baths, walks, play time, trained puppies, etc. we have had animals of all ages and breeds. I am currently working full time 8-5 Monday to Friday close to downtown Indy. I have every weekend off. I can step out on a lunch break if needed depending on location and how long. I typically get an hour lunch. . We treat our pets and friends pets like they are family/children. Feed them for breakfast and dinner, then water as needed. Lots of treats of course!
