Kai seemed to love playing with her dog, Sunny and the two other dogs who overlapped time with us. I was a little concerned about not having a fenced yard but it wasn't an issue at all. So until the program opens back up I’m pretty free but even after I start back working I work from home so it won’t really affect my schedule. I don’t have any other pets in the home nor kids so that won’t be a problem. I also already frequently take walks around my complex which has a fenced in dog park area. Even without pets of my own, I prioritize safety, trust, and the well-being of animals in my care. In a setting like my complex with a dog park and large yards, I ensure pets are always supervised in open areas, preventing accidents or escapes, while maintaining secure fencing and a pet-proofed indoor space. Building trust is essential, so I follow each pet's routine and respect their boundaries, using positive reinforcement to create a calm and reassuring environment. Whether indoors or in the yard, I focus on providing enrichment, exercise, and a comfortable, stress-free space for pets to feel safe, happy, and well-cared for.
