About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. At my home pets are always on leash and walked on grass/sidewalk. Can be kept in a separate area if requested! Clients home is based on clients wishes (backyard/dog park/sidewalk). I also have 3 loving dogs and 2 cats that stay with me currently!

About: I offer experienced and loving care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Having a 3-year-old dog myself, I understand the importance of a comfortable and social environment. I also have experience caring for dogs with specific needs, such as allergies, blindness, and complex medication schedules. My goal is to make your dog feel completely at home and well cared for during their stay. I work remotely, so I am home most of the day. I can adhere to your feeding and medication schedule. I also love taking dogs out for pup cups or excursions to dog-friendly stores (with owner permission). For holiday periods, a minimum booking of 3 nights is required. Thank you for your understanding. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly lab/heeler mix. Dogs have free roam of my home. I also have a comfortable crate if they are crate trained.

About: Both Steve and I have had dogs our entire lives. We have cared for pups of all ages. From young who are leaning potty training to senior pups and those who require medication. We love spending time with our pups from hiking, neighborhood walks to throwing balls in the back yard. We have 2 pups of our own- Layla our 11yr old senior who lays around most of the day unless she decides she wants to attend one of our many walks. Then there is Riley who is 2-3. She loves playing keep away, trying to keep one of her dozen squeaky toys, away from mom and dad. Both are dog friendly once they have a chance to meet other dog (aka sniff butt). We know how important it is to have someone you trust when I comes to caring for your pups when you can’t. We believe that any dog in our care will be spoiled with love and attention. Both my husband and I work from home so we are available to tend to any special needs. Our pups love to go on walks 3-4 times per day. While we are working the pups can lounge around inside or sun bathe outside in our fenced yard. We have a 4 ft chain link fenced yard, can take dog for multiple walks throughout the day. We can administer medication if needed, feed on any schedule needed.

About: I have been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and had a business running my own daily poochie playgroup and doing home boarding in the Old Town area of Alexandria, VA since 1998. I moved to the Charlottesville area and am missing all my furry friends. Now I am available for walks, home visits and house sitting in your home with my dog Badger<3 I love taking walks and Badger is a great doggie companion for your pooch while you are away! I've also taken care of bunnies, ferrets, horses...you name it I'm a big animal lover! About: I like to take a supervised yet hands-off approach to watching over dogs. That is, letting dogs be their curious and playful selves while making sure they're safe and well taken care of. I've owned dogs my whole life (breeds including portuguese water dog, rottweilers, maltese/poodle mix, terrier mix, schnauzer/poodle mix, and a german shepherd currently) and find that they are happier and better behaved when given freedom to explore and lead rather than be expected to remain obedient and tame at all times. Some pups need more structure and thrive on a little more rigidity though, and I am very capable of meeting whatever their needs are and sticking to what you know is best for their personality. I am easily swooned by all kinds of dogs but am not one to let them use their good looks and charm to get the best of me. I am mostly just excited to hang out with as many of these guys as I can! I do want to be transparent that I work regular hours Mon - Fri, so I cannot stay with your pups 24/7 during the week. That being said, lunch time bathroom breaks are a guarantee! Walks in the morning and in the evening, and a quick potty break in the afternoon! I do have a day job, but your sweet pup will always be my first priority. I have a large backyard and live just a few short minutes from the Huckleberry Trail 🙂 I also have a spacious yard where your furry friend can roam free!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 4 years old, however when I turned 9 I started caring for horses as well. I’ve also been handling little animals like guinea pigs and hamsters since I was 12. I graduated high school in 2022, I’m at home quite frequently! I have more than enough time that I can spend with your adorable animal/s! I have two dogs in my home to keep your fur baby company! Rue is very playful and just loves the attention. About: Throughout the past few years I've been able to help dogs walk better on a leash just by taking them on regular trips. I'm patient and happy to adjust to the dog's normal routine and the family's expectations so rules are still followed when they return. Overall, I'm doing this because I love dogs and want to care for them just as you do! I do work a full-time job, but I’m happy to care for pets on the weekends, in the mornings and evenings outside of my work hours, and can many times care for them during lunchtime. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of the environment and ensuring that the client’s expectations for home care and the relationship with the pet is respected (ex. About: Growing up, I have done pet and house sitting in various cities and situations. I come from a family of animal lovers: my mom won't even kill a house insect, and her mom has been know to adopt cats, birds, and even the occasional squirrel! We have no dogs of our own at this point, but I love to watch other peoples' dogs to scratch that canine itch (preferrably behind the ears! 😄) I am a home body with two little ones that are yet to be in school. I will probably be home most of the time your pet is here. We have an unfenced yard with caged chickens, quails, and goats.
