“Liz was amazing with our pups - her property is perfect for them to roam and explore. Her experience with reactive dogs was super helpful as our younger pup is still working through some trauma from experiences pre-adoption, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands.”

“As always Linda and David did a wonderful Job watching our bulldog Roscoe. When we picked him up he was sad to leave their home. We are happy we found them!”

“Walt kept our boy, Teddi, for four days. Teddi is a 3 yo intact English Shepherd who has never spent a night away from us. Teddi is a very well behaved and friendly boy but we were a bit anxious how this would go. Walt kept us well informed on how Teddi was doing. Walt gave Teddi great care and a lot of attention. When we returned to pick up Teddi, it was obvious that he and Teddy had bonded very well. We are very pleased with the care that Walt provided and will certainly use him again.”

“I can’t say enough about Maribel and the care she gave my dog Jolene during her stay. It’s always hard to find good caring people to take care of your fur baby but Maribel went above and beyond. I really loved getting the daily pictures and updates. Will definitely use her from here on out!!!”

“I had never used Rover and was a bit hesitant to do so. Jenny was so patient with my dog, who can be a bit stand offish at first. Everyone in the house was so kind to him and it sounds he got a lot of love! He got to run with new friends outside and hang on the couch with new friends inside. Jenny sent pictures and updates and I was totally at ease while I was gone, knowing he was in good hands. Her communication was great, she asked questions to get to know Merle, and he came home very happy. 10/10”

“Maverick loved his stay with Nancy & family. He was treated like family and got to do all the things he loves, play with dog friends & kids, find all the hidden balls in the house and sleep in a real bed :). Thanks again for making him feel so welcome and giving us peace of mind while we were away.”

“Lindsey was so amazing with Zade and he had the best time! I didn’t have to worry for a second about him being in good hands because she was so great with him! With out a doubt will use Lindsey again if needed in the future!”

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

“Lisa and Steve were awesome with our girl Maple! Maple is very shy and timid, and can growl at people and dogs she’s not familiar with. They were understanding of this and worked with her by keeping her in a lower stress environment until she was ready to open up. They also sent us a bunch of photos and kept us updated continuously, which helped put our minds at ease. We would 1000% book with them again!”

About: I always grew up with my own animals and knew I wanted to to be a veterinarian one day. When I was in high school I started my own dog walking business to make some money and then heard a doggy daycare was opening up in town. I was the first to apply! I worked there for a while until I started at a local veterinarian at 16. Now I am going into my second year of vet school and wanted a way to fill some of my free time. Due to my busy class schedule I only have a cat right now, so I really enjoy spending extra time with dogs! My goal is to adopt a pit bull mix by the end of vet school because they have a special place in my heart! Over the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in a variety of settings from general care to specialty medicine to emergency and my passion for them only continues to grow. I'm skilled in administering medications and injections, caring for both puppies and senior pets, assisting with more challenging or nervous animals, and understanding dog behavior and body language. During the summer I’m working two days a week at Virginia Tech's Veterinary Teaching Hospital so the rest of the time I can devote to pet sitting! Unfortunately, my schedule does change week to week. During the school year my schedule also varies as labs are different days/times every week, however, they are only two hours long so I am flexible for the rest of the day! I also keep my schedule up to date on Rover! I'm available most days. Just message me about times and I will get back to you as soon as possible! I currently live in an apartment. I have one cat and my roommate has a cat. They both do well with dogs and will mainly keep to themselves and stay in our rooms. We are trying to socialize them more to dogs to get them more comfortable for when we adopt one in the next year! In our apartment we have two floors so we can keep the animals together when we are home and then separate them with a baby gate when we go out. There is a large unfenced backyard behind my apartment that is a communal space and lots of walking trails around including the Huckleberry Trail!

“Nancye is absolutely amazing! She loved and spoiled our Josey as if he was her own. I loved that we had the opportunity to have a meet and greet before we took our trip. She took him on walks. He loves car rides and she took him to get ice cream with her getting him a pup cup. It was our 1st time leaving him with someone new and she sent us pictures and updated all along the way. Nancye has such a love for fur babies and it shows. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Kurt was great with our dog Lucy while we were on vacation. I didn’t worry about her at all. He was quick to respond and sent pics throughout the week. I highly recommend!”

“Holly took great care of my dog and my baby girl had a wonderful few days. My dog went to many places to play and there were many cute pictures. I appreciate it very much.”

“Carmen and her husband were absouloutly amazing with our two dogs! She has an amazing fenced back yard that are dogs loved running around in. Carmen was great at communicating and sending me pictures and they worked around their schedules to find a convientent time for us to pick up our dogs. I will definately consider Carmen next time we need to board our dogs.”

“Chris and Carmen were very accommodating hosts! And I love how knowledgeable they are about dog behavior. This was Oskar's first time away from home without us, so he was a bit unsure and nervous. They were patient with him and made sure he was comfortable and happy. I was probably more nervous than Oskar, but the pictures and video they sent while he was there really helped assuage my anxiety! He had lots of exercise (they have a great backyard) and attention. I highly recommend Chris for boarding!”
