About: I have been helping care for dogs for the past several years and have worked with both large and small breeds. Family, friends, and people in my community have trusted me to feed, walk, and attend to their pets. I have experience in calming anxious pets and looking after/training puppies. I am very passionate about caring for dogs of all breeds and promise to show your pet the same love and attention I give my own! I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with only a couple classes each day, so I have plenty of free time to stop by to check in on your pet or take them for a walk! I am available every day of the week besides Tuesday’s and Thursday's. I respect the owner’s home and follow all security measures given when coming in for a dog visit. I also strictly adhere to the directions and routines provided for feeding, walking, or administering medication to ensure the pet is safe and comfortable.

About: I have pets at for many years. I also worked at a dog kennel so I'm used to all different shapes sizes and breeds. I enjoy training my own dog. I also worked on a farm so I have some farming knowledge as well. I enjoy being an active person and taking pets out. I want pet Care to be able to be my full-time completely integrated daily routine I take care of my own animals but I would like to be able to take care of other people's full time. I do however start my program of study sometime in August. In a client's home I would strive to keep the same schedule for the pets because I'm sure that they are already stressed out when their people leave. This being same food bathroom routine making sure they get playtime attention.

About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I’ve also had basic veterinary training in high school. While my dog is no longer with us, she was always treated just like my kids, and was allowed on furniture/beds. I take daily walks (sometimes twice a day). I’m available for boarding on most days. I can also drop in on weekends as needed. I usually take a walk once or twice a day. My son enjoys playing fetch with dogs. Your pet will receive plenty of love and care while with us as we have always loved having dogs around.

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of pets since I was a kid. I’ve walked dogs for my neighbors, fed horses, goats and chickens for family friends, and pet sat many other dogs and cats. I work from home at night, so I will be able to be attentive all day. My husband works during the day from home as well, so there will always be a set of eyes on your pet! I have a fully fenced yard. We do have 3 dogs but all are very loving and have gotten along with any animal they have met. We have a spare room that we can use to keep them separated if necessary, otherwise your pet will have free roam and will be treated like family.

About: Pets have always been a part of my life. I was raised with multiple cats and dogs, and from an early age developed a strong love and knowledge of caring for animals. I currently have two dogs and a cat, and have applied for this position because I truly understand the struggle of having to leave and find someone trustworthy to care for them while I am away. From puppies and kittens, to senior pets, I will provide your pet with the same love and attention that I would wish for my own. I currently work full-time as an Instructional Specialist. I am free in the evenings and on weekends with the exception of holidays and Summer break. I am free Monday-Sunday during summer months and holiday breaks. We have a large yard for walking and a clean and quiet home for your pet to relax. I have no children except for my own two pups. I will take care of your pet as I would take care of my own.

About: My journey started with owning cats growing up and training every animal I ever owned leading up to my first dog. My cats and even my bird. When I was 12, I started dog sitting Pierre, my mom’s coworkers Yorkshire Terrier. He caused me to fall in love with dogs. I became obsessed with AKC dog shows, my mom and I watched it every Thanksgiving morning after the parade. I actually loved anything with animals. I owned many cats from the age of 4 through my teenage years. I love cats but they can’t do what dogs can. Finally after years of begging, my mom got us our first dog, Omega. He was a beautiful standard poodle and was so smart. My best friends mom had a friend who needed to rehome one of hers, he was 1 when we got him and I taught him all he knew from down, stay to jumping over a pole. Before going off to college I chose to foster dogs in need and I fostered three successfully who went off and found their forever homes. It was the most rewarding thing. So I decided if I can work with dogs my entire life and just be around them all day for a job Id be in heaven! Naturally my teenage brain thought “I’ll be a Veterinarian”! I completed 3 years at Virginia Tech majoring in Animal & Poultry Science doing the Companion Animal Tract. I was able to receive a lot of hands on experience with animals of all kinds; pigs, cattle, sheep, horses and chickens (of all ages). I learned skills from halter breaking heifers to administering shots in 3 different ways. Though I do enjoy animals of all kinds I eventually came to the realization that I thoroughly enjoy training dogs and I’m constantly training my own. I currently have two that im working with regularly just for fun at one point and so it dawned on me that I’m in the wrong career. So while in the process of developing and launching my own personal Dog training and boarding business. Since I work from home, I have the time and knowledge to be able to dedicate to helping others who are in need of these services now. Trusting their fur babies will receive the best of care and would be made to feel at home. If your baby is more comfortable in their own home I’m happy to accommodate to their needs. Leaving your fur babies is not always easy, trust me, I’m having to do it for the first time soon myself and with me you can have the peace of mind that your furry friends will be in great hands, as I will treat them just how I’d expect mine to be treated ! With nothing but love, care and patience. I have Experience with all ages! Omega was with us until he passed at the age of 14! My dogs recently had an accidental litter and I raised up 10 puppies who all lived and are 12 weeks old now ! I’m familiar with administering pills or medications if necessary. 7 puppies remain in my care as I want to make sure they go to great homes and I plan to train them as service dog prospects ! I train dogs in basic and advance obedience, on and off leash training, and some skills like protection and sport work. I work from home full time starting my work day at 12:30 pm and ending at 9 pm. I get two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch through the day. During which they would be able to potty and play. So your furry friend will always have someone home with them. It is a goal of mine to eventually do this full time. I have A large yard on an acre property. Dogs who are trained off leash can roam in the back which has rock boarders lining the property. For those not trained off lead i have A long 30 ft lead which will still allow them the freedom to run around. I have two adult dogs and a litter of puppies still with me who can keep any anxious friends company. And for those who need to be alone, my two can be kept upstairs in my room and the puppies can be crated leaving your friend the entire downstairs to roam or in my work office with me while I work. I have two large crates which can be used if your friend has a hard time getting settled in a new environment. I provide an enriching environment where your fur baby will learn how to be a better k9 citizen everyday ! Picture and video updates can be sent regularly !

About: I’ve taken care of dogs small and large since 2016 for family friends and neighbors. I have a real passion for animal care and my utmost priority is to make sure the well being of your pet is at an all time high. I’ve also gone through online training courses for dogs and cats detailing proper care techniques. Thursday afternoon's from four to six are my only recurring schedule block currently. I will update this when or if this ends up changing. I can tailor the visit to how best it is to fit your pet’s needs. On visits where a potty break is needed, they will be taken out and given treats and lots of love with some fresh water. On meal visits they will be given their meals and fresh water with lots of love as well. On overnight visits I follow the directions exactly and leave the place and the pet(s) looking and feeling better than when I arrived.

About: We absolutely love animals and would be happy to sit for yours! We do house visits, day care, walks and whatever else you need. We really love dogs and cats especially and would love to watch yours when you’re away! We work Monday To Friday from 9 to 3 but are available mornings & evenings & weekends. We are also free for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and any other vacation breaks as you need us!! We love to walk and it’s nice to have the company of a pet. We obviously feed and water, while always bathing our animal when it’s needed, we are no stranger to caring to all types of pets, we have clipped nails, shaved, washed and we’ve even put clothes on pets when our client wants us too!!

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. Now that I’m older I’ve had plenty experience caring for them whether that be pet sitting for friends and family or in my line of work. Something that will set me apart from other sitters you may come across is my experience working at a kennel. This includes specifically working with service dogs, boarding pets, and k9 working. I’ve worked with a variety of dog breeds, ages and behaviors, meaning I can cater to whatever your pets needs :) Since I work as a kennel technician, being with and caring for animals is practically second nature to me. About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)

About: I've taken care of everything from snakes to guinea pigs to dogs to horses. Amphibians as well. I have worked in boarding for over 4 years, and I have been a vet assistant for one. I started off volunteering at the Charlotte Nature Museum when I was 15. I have interned at Carolina Raptor Center. I love all animals in any shape or size. I am also certified in Knowing Dogs 101 and 201, which covers recognizing individual and pack behavior. (ex. when your dog is in a doggy daycare and is playing with other pups.) I have two furbabies of my own, a guinea pig named Tatiana, and a spoiled rotten but adorable mutt named Sora. I promise hou that I will love your pets too! I have an open schedule for looking after your pet. I am more than happy to do morning and mid-day walks, visits, and feedings. I am unable to do late-night visits at this time. (After 8pm) I hold myself to a very high standard for looking after your pet. I will treat your pet and your home with the utmost respect. If they are on meds, then I will make sure that they get them on time and I can also give insulin if a pet is a diabetic.
