About: I have cared for a variety of animals and am comfortable caring for any pet (including exotic or uncommon), any age, any size, any level of care, and any personality! I have past experience caring for senior animals (including dogs, cats, and horses) as well as animals under age 1 (including dogs and cats). I often volunteer at the Birmingham Humane Society! Although I am not offering training services, I have experience training and am willing to uphold any training regimen. I have experience shadowing a household pet veterinarian as well as an equine veterinarian. I also have farm animal care experience. I love playtime and am very attentive! I am very excited to care for your pet! I am available to sit weekends and after 7 pm on weekdays. I can do daytime feedings or walks 2 or 3 times a day. I am available for boarding weekends and weekdays after 7 pm. My apartment is the perfect environment for boarding! I am available for boarding some weekdays all day, but I will need notice 5 days and to coordinate in advance for boarding on a weekday before 7 pm due to shifting schedule days. For walks, let me know an estimated average walk time for your pet so that they are comfortable and happy! For sitting, I will clean any pet messes if needed. Require a decently clean home and closer distance if overnight sitting is needed. Please, let me know of any concerns ahead of time. For boarding, I am in a one bedroom apartment with no other pets and decent play space. I have no toys, litter boxes, or cat trees so will need to provide their own. I live next to a large unfenced park. The apartment is clean and tidy and safe for pets. The apartment building also has a pet bathing station available if your pet needs cleaning. If you are concerned with a public bathing station, I am perfectly comfortable bathing your pet in the bath in my apartment. Please, let me know of any health or hygiene issues beforehand. Medications/allergies/health concerns are extremely important to me.
About: Just an animal lover. I’ve had ducks, rabbits, dogs and cats all my life. Right now I have two dogs who love to play and eat treats. Can help with potty training and other common tricks. I work full time as an electrician Monday-Friday. I’m gone from 5am-2:30pm. I have a doggy door with a fenced in backyard so my two dogs roam the house/yard as they please. If you don’t want your pets to roam during the day I’ll take them out in the morning and when I get home. And at 3pm we can do whatever they want walk/hike/swim/relax. I have a fenced in backyard with a doggy door access. Multiple cameras to keep an eye on everyone and neighbors ready to help out if needed.
About: As much of a people person I am, I’d consider my self equally as much of a pet person! I love to engage with animals and learn about their personalities and engage with them in whatever environment keeps them happy and healthy! I work full-time, 4 days/week with 1 off day during the week. My evenings and weekends are pretty flexible and I’m willing to work with whatever accommodations that may be required of me. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
