“Shawna, has done an excellent job with my two Shih Tzu poodles. She has had them longer than expected and accommodated me through a major surgery that had some hiccups. Her attention to detail with your dog is outstanding. She is an hour and a half for me and his well worth the drive for me to leave them there because I know they’re taking care of. She sends plenty of pictures so you’ll know how much fun your dog is actually really having with her.”

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician so I am professionally trained to know how to take care of your animals especially if there is an emergency! I currently work full time at Lincoln Memorial University. I can only do weekends because of my schedule, but I can also see what I can do to help during the week! I do not have a fenced in yard. My dogs have been trained to stay in the yard. I have 3 dogs, they are younger and very playful. I also have 3 cats. Even though I do not have a fence, I can offer walks in the yard or walking up and down the road and put them on the leash while they use the bathroom. I have a whole room dedicated for the animals where they can stay unless they are kept uncaged then they can have free roam of the house.

About: I have been a dog sitter/cat sitter, off and on for 20 years. I love animals! I treat and love them as if they were my own. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have plenty of yard around my home. I prefer smaller dogs, but I am flexible. Must be good with kids! I have a 14 year old who loves animals and can't wait to give them attention they need. I will be happy to come get your dog or meet you prior to watching your dog. I have a full-time job. I leave the house around 8, and I'm home most days by 4:00. My husband will be here to help out as needed. I will walk them, play and care for them as they are my own. I own a large crate so if you are crate training I can be consistent and provide that service.

“Wendy was so great! We felt a little anxious to leave our three dogs for five days until we found her. She knew our personalized instructions for each of our dogs when we met and thought of many things we hadn’t. Every question we asked, she seemed to have already thought through. She was very open and informative. While we were away, Wendy sent us multiple photos and updates daily, which we really appreciated. She went the extra mile in making both us and our dogs feel comfortable. We appreciate her and plan to use again if all goes accordingly with our next trip near the area! :)”
