“I am so grateful that I didn't have to worry about my kitten while on vacation. Tawasi took great care of my little one including medication and sent lots of pictures. She also responded to all messages within 20 mins.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life, and am well versed in how to take care of them. I'm good at bathing, walking, and playing with the dogs. I've had experience with needing to give dogs oral medication, and with dogs that are hard to manage. I'm fairly active, so keeping up with high energy dogs shouldn't be a problem. I can cater to any other kind of special need. I'm punctual and a low key perfectionist, so I can guarantee you that your pet will be well taken care of. I’m currently working full time, and have availability for drop ins and walks in Thursday-Saturday evening, Sunday/Monday morning and evening, with availability for house sitting available Saturday-Monday as well. A calm and playful environment can be guaranteed. I currently care for 3 cats of my own and have cared for my family’s and friends my entire life.

About: I have taken care of all breeds and sizes of dogs, trained and untrained. I currently have a working Dutch shepherd “Thirza” who I do competitive obedience and Shutzhund with. Give me a shout and let me know what you need! I work as a big game guide in the spring and fall, so my summer and winter months are totally open. All day everyday I can make whatever time/ days work. I throughly believe in a good “on” and “off” switch for dogs. Knowing when to expend energy is very valuable. If I’m doing home visits or walking your furry friend I will keep my energy very calm and maintain that good inside behavior. Until we get out then we can play, train and walk hard!

“Emilyanne is the best. This is our second time using her, this time just for a drop in since we had back to back events on Saturday and didn't want to leave the girls that long without a potty break and some love. Emilyanne noticed I forgot to put a salad dressing back in the fridge and took care of that and started my dishwasher for me. It is the small things that are so huge that she does even just during a drop in. Plus I know my girls love her so much and it gives me peace of mind. I can't say enough good things about Emilyanne and her communication, knowledge, promptness, and ability to trust her 100%.”

About: I have been providing high-quality, reliable pet care to clients throughout the Coeur d’Alene area and am now expanding my services to reach more pet families. As a dedicated pet owner myself—caring for a senior dog—I understand the importance of personalized, attentive care and am highly flexible in accommodating your pet’s unique needs and routines. I work from home, which allows me to provide attentive, all-day care during house-sitting stays. I'm available on weekdays, evenings, and most weekends with at least 7 days’ notice. I offer flexible scheduling, including overnight care, and recommend a meet-and-greet in advance to ensure the perfect fit for your pet's needs. Pet care is provided exclusively in your home, serving Coeur d’Alene and surrounding areas. Services include, but are not limited to, administering medication, regular walks, and overnight care. Each visit is tailored to meet the specific needs of your pet in the comfort of their own environment.

About: I'm quite versatile and can adapt to stressful situations easily, should they arise. I have experience raising my own pets, helping raise others, and training pets. I can provide care for pets of any size, species, and age. I administer medications, provide ample playtime and exercise, and most importantly, snuggle to the heart's content (so long as your pet tolerates it). I've sat in the past for birds, lizards, dogs, cats, and fish, and I'll love your animals nearly as much as you do! I'm quite passionate about keeping spaces clean and comfortable for the pets as well, as I am quite organized and know that nobody wants to work with a disorganized sitter. Pet sitting is my full-time occupation as of right now, so I can be there for your pets whenever they need it. I do have a busy schedule, but I will always ensure that your animals come first and I can be with them as often as they need it. I always ensure that pets are treated as well as the humans in the household. I like to sleep and snuggle with pets, take them where I go as much as is permitted, and play with them outside as often as possible. I am not quick to force animals to spend time with me, I always let them have the choice to approach me first, but if they adjust quickly and enjoy my company, I really lay on the love.

About: I carry a business insurance policy for petcare. My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

Taya C.
“I’ve witnessed Taya’s care and love for her pets over the years I’ve known her, and I definitely believe that she would be an excellent candidate to be your petsitter. If my dog wasn’t a working dog who went everywhere I went anyway, I would be willing to entrust her to my own dog’s care during my time away from my beloved dog. She is also extremely well versed in cat care, even having raised two kittens from birth, so she would be a very good candidate if the house has cats as well. Her skill and love for animals makes her a very good choice for petsitting needs.”

Nicholas H.
“Nicholas was absolutely fantastic with our two dogs, Piper and Finn! It was clear that he genuinely loves and understands dogs. Piper can be a bit shy with new people, and Finn has endless energy, but Nick managed to connect with both of them effortlessly. He kept us regularly updated, showing us how happy the doggos were during their stay. It gave us a ton of reassurance knowing they were in such great hands! When we got back, Piper and Finn were both happy and healthy! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Nik to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog sitter! 🐾 Thank you, for taking such great care of Piper and Finn, and we’ll definitely be booking with you again.”

They immediately hit it off with Elvis, Kaila’s sweet pup, and the three of them played well together. We got regular updates, and it was clear our dogs were relaxed, happy, and well cared for. Highly recommend—this will definitely be our go-to sitter from now on!”

“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Gemma P. for the past two years, and we can’t recommend her highly enough. She has provided safe, loving, and attentive care to our two cats and bearded dragon, always going above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Gemma is a fantastic communicator and she sends daily updates with photos, which gives us great peace of mind while we’re away. In addition to caring for our pets, she’s been incredibly helpful with household tasks like watering plants, bringing in mail, and taking out the garbage. Jamie N.
“We have entrusted Jamie to care for our two dogs, and our house, while we have been out of town many times. She is incredibly conscientious and responsible. Things that one wouldn't even think of - like because we are in a wildfire zone, ensuring a go-bag has dog food and poop bags. She keeps in touch with us, sending photos and updates, and we feel incredibly comfortable having her in the house. I know she also likes cats (though we don't have them). We feel so much better having a trusted pet and house sitter available to care for our beloved dogs. Highly recommend”

SOPHIA V.
“Sophia was born to take care of animals, we have 2 dogs (Dinan and Sissy) and she spoils them endlessly. She also regularly watches and takes care of friend and family pets and I have yet to see a dog that hasn't immediately taken a liking to her. She goes above and beyond in every way to make sure the animals are well taken care of and happy. We also rescue other animals, mostly ducks, turtles and tortoises. You won't regret having her as part of your team.”
