“I met Kymber when I brought a severely injured cat to the vet office where she worked. The cat was brought on behalf of a local rescue and had been hit by a car, causing severe leg, eye and jaw injuries. The cat's care post several surgeries, which included amputating one leg, the possible removal of an eye, and extensive dental work which was expected to involve the wiring of the jaws, was an existential challenge for us. The expected after care involved keeping the cat calm and quiet while the amputation healed, several eye drop regimes and essentially making a slurry for the cat to slurp during the jaw recovery. This was during covid lockdown and the rescue's foster network was already completely full and we were really struggling with who could care for the cat. Luckily, Kymber agreed to foster her and did a wonderful job! She was able to isolate AND socialize Peggy (so named for her now missing leg) and expertly handle the monitoring of the wound, changing of bandages, and administration of medications. The eye medications worked so well that we did not need to remove the eye in the end. I'm certain that the proper administration of the eye drops played a big role in their effectiveness. In the end, the cat's jaw did not need to be wired either and dental surgery, followed by antibiotics and on-going monitoring of the mouth's alignment fit the bill. This was a complicated case and none of our foster volunteers could have handled the medications, the bandages, the proper monitoring of progress, or been as flexible as the cat's condition and treatments changed. Kymber was completely open to whatever the rescue's board decided was in the best interest of the cat, and was not at all bothered by the prospect of some fairly intense care. In the end, Peggy made a wonderful recovery and, in fact, was adopted by Kymber. She now lives her best life in the loving family that made it all possible. I would highly recommend Kymber - particularly if you have an animal with any medical needs. Her professional training is invaluable, but it was her compassion toward Peggy that also made a huge difference in this case.”

Each animal and the home they live in have acquired the preferred care and maintenance, even while the owner is away, please make me aware at the time of scheduling so that expectations can be met.

About: I grew up on a farm with every animal you could think of. I cared for all of the animals in all aspects. Feeding, watering, grooming, and genuine love. I will always have a passion for animals. My work schedule is typically six days in a row with eight days off. And during those eight days off, I’d be happy to help care for your loved ones as my own! I myself have a reactive pup and have went through tremendous amounts of training. I am able to keep your dogs safe and as comfortable as possible.

About: I am a cat mom and cat taken care of friends’ cats before. I also have personal experience in dog sitting and professional experience as I worked at a doggy day care. I currently have other jobs I am at during the day, so my hours may be limited. I am passionate about animals and their needs. I do whatever I can to ensure the happiness of your pet and the family because, after all, your pet is part of your family. I am willing to check up on your pet multiple times a day if need be and if my schedule allows, and I am also willing to take care of other pets, not just cats and dogs. Animals have always been apart of her life which caused her to rescue her dog Maybelle after their lifelong pet passed away after having her for 15 years. About: I have had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of pets, (small, big, old, young, feisty, etc.), since I was a little girl. From walking to feeding and bathing, friends, family and neighbors have and continue to trust me with their furry friends. Additionally, I have years of experience watching children and am very good in trying situations. I currently work part-time Wednesdays-Saturdays, 11-3, so my schedule is wide open for taking care of your little friends. I have a car and am willing to drive a good distance, too:) Regardless of location, I like to make sure all pets are comfortable and have any toys, beds, treats, etc. that they require. I like to do whatever they like to do- throwing a ball around, going for a walk, playing with toys, (Please let me know if there is anything your pet particularly likes:). Additionally, I am meticulous when it comes to any and all instructions. In my neighborhood, we have a lot of pets being walked around all day long, so I like taking a walk to let the pets 'socialize'.

About: I have fostered many animals over the years. Very obedient dogs to deaf and blind dogs. I have also taken care of a variety of other animals such as ferrets, rabbits, and turtles. Hello, I am currently available at any time as I am taking a leave from my full time job for some very personal reasons. I will base things around your animals schedule. I follow strict instructions for your pets care plus more. Potty breaks are as frequent as need be especially with the age of the dog.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats and horses. When I wasn’t caring for my furry family you would often see me at my neighbors helping with their horses and goats. Sadly I’ve cared for two of my own Labradors that had cancer so I have experience providing medication and I currently have two amazing older ragdoll cats who both receive medication for arthritis. I recently left the healthcare world to broaden my career with our furry family members. I have open availability and so excited to start this new adventure. My country gated community will provide safe and healthy walks. Your furry family member can enjoy the nature around this country home.
