“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible about scheduling, and I welcome long term stays. I am also happy to accept last minute requests. I own my home...I don't have a fenced yard, but will walk my dog guests frequently, as i do like to be outdoors...I enjoy having dogs in my home, and spending lots of time with them. They are welcome on the furniture and to sleep on the bed..

About: I have been lucky enough to spend time with dogs of a range of ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups who need a slower pace and a gentle touch. I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs, just let me know! I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and I always move at their pace. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can respond quickly if something seem off. But most importantly, I make sure that they're safe and happy, while waiting for their favorite person to come back to them. I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and have proudly raised my Mayflower (16 year old Boston terrier) since I was 12 years old. I see all dogs as our best friends and family and will care for your dogs with the same love and dedication that I care for mine. I am an incredibly active person, I spend my spare time backpacking and hiking and love to bring my dogs with me on my weekend camping trips. My dogs are my world, and I think all dogs deserve to be surrounded by loving people even if I’m just a dog sitter! I can’t wait to meet your pups and dogs and make more amazing dog friendships! I consider myself fluent in speaking dog after learning to communicate with my newly blind senior boston! PLEASE READ! At my home we have a small back yard and our apartment is very dog friend, both of my dogs are good with dogs and up to date on their shots. When caring for your pets in my home or away I will schedule my work around your dog and work from home.

I have a nice sized backyard. I currently have no pet of my own. My backyard is not fenced so I will never let your dog outside unattended or unleashed. I live alone and I do not work. I can schedule my day around your pet. Your pet is my first priority when I am watching them. I do not have a fence but I have a large yard and an open field right behind that I can walk your dog. I arrange my home to your pets needs whatever they may be.

I must admit I suffer from a little bit of empty nest syndrome as my youngest child graduated and went off and is now doing her own thing, it makes me purely happy to scratch a dog behind their ears and have them be just delighted.
