About: For three years I walked two leash pulling cocker spaniels. I turned to watching Cesar Milan for tips, soon I had the dogs walking next to me with the leash loose in my hand. Their owner knew when I’d come to walk them, because they would be barking then quit, due to my entrance with no eye contact. As Cesar says dogs sense with their nose, eyes and ears consecutively. The owner made a comment once “oh, Ruthie must be here”. I’m currently working full time. I would be available after 4 pm Monday - Friday. I travel out of town every other weekend for family. It would work better if I could come to your place. I live in a small condo. That way your pet is kept in it’s familiar surroundings.

About: I am an experienced pet owner, lover, and professional dog trainer! I have walked, trained, and cared for hundreds of dogs of all sizes and ages for the last 10 years. I own a successful dog training business in Metro-Detroit Michigan and my husband and I, our 2 dogs (Tully the GSD and Nellie the Staffy), and our cat Ned are visiting Fremont, OH for the Summer. I am looking to help local owners with walks and drop ins during the week so I can still be around and meet new dogs even far away from home! I am happy to work with dogs on leash manners and other basic skills while I am here, take your pup out on an adventure, or just provide them some company and love while you’re away. I will be in Fremont until the end of August. Until then I will be volunteering at the local animal shelter and taking on some drop ins and walks on Rover. I have years of experience with handling dogs of all sizes and ages. I am a full-time professional dog trainer and own my own dog training business in Michigan. I like to give attention to animals I am a teacher in Sandusky and have good availability in the summer every other week! I am willing to travel a little and make sure your pet is taken care of! About: I have been a pet owner my entire life. From poodles, to huskies, no dog is too large or too small to be loved on by me! Even though the daylight is short, I get off at 7:10 and will walk your animals even after working 12.5 hours. I’m currently going to school full time but will have time to make sure your pet is taken care of, fed, and have fun while they’re away from you. About: I’m very good with different personalities of the dog and can work to what they feel comfortable with. Love giving them attention and making them happy! I am free from 3-7pm after I get off work. Taking care of animals fits perfectly into my afternoon schedule and is a great distressor as well. Depending on the animal we can play more outside or inside make sure they are feeling loved and happy. My dog personally loves being outside so we spend most our time on walks.

Playtime also is a really big thing, as dogs need to be mentally stimulated throughout the day and physically active to stay healthy! Just not right after eating, as that can be dangerous for some breeds. Grooming is also super necessary and important for my puppies. Their nails especially grow so fast. Additional things I like to do are evening walks, training time and making sure my pups all have comfortable sleeping areas! In my home my fur babies are provided with walks, nutritious food, exercise, grooming, mental stimulation, a safe environment, socialization and emotional care every day. For a client, I believe it’s important to follow any specific instructions provided regarding feeding, medication, or other special requirements for their pets.
