About: While I myself am a pet owner of my sweet dog, Marley and two cats, Coco and Zoey, I also have pet sat for many neighbors, family members, and friends. I am open to all animals and am truly invested in their needs and care. I know every owner wants the best care for their fur baby while they’re away and I’m here to say that I’m the girl for the job! I am a college student so school is my number one priority. See my attached class schedule below! That being said, I have very flexible hours outside of class and would love to spend time with your fur baby! I do not have a job outside of school, just some extracurricular activities like being apart of Chi Omega and earning a full ride scholarship which also means attending weekly meetings for them. If there are ever any questions about my availability, don’t hesitate to reach out! My class schedule Monday-Friday is: Monday: No classes Tuesday: 1-4 PM Wednesday: 10 AM-12 PM, 1-4 PM Thursday: 1-4 PM Friday: No classes I have been around plenty of cats and dogs in my lifetime so I am pretty comfortable with leashing a dog, walking them, playing with them and anything else necessary to provide the best care. The same goes for cats. I am completely comfortable playing with them petting on them and loving on them if they allow me. I’m also fine with giving your pets medicine as well if necessary. Nothing really scares me :)

About: I’ve always loved caring for animals and have spent the past few years getting lots of hands-on experience with all kinds of furry personalities. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pup and figuring out what makes them happy! 🥰 One of my favorite things is helping pups who are a little nervous or take some time to warm up. I never rush them—I give them space, patience, treats, toys, and plenty of gentle attention until they feel comfortable. 🧸🐾 Whether your pup wants to play, cuddle on the couch, or simply hang out nearby, I’m happy to let them be themselves. Every pup is different, and I love that! My goal is simple: for your pup to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and right at home while they’re with us. ❤️ I can’t wait to spoil your furry family member with lots of love, playtime, cuddles, and probably a toy or two! 🐶✨ I’m currently accepting new furry friends! 🐾☀️ Now that I’m back to work as a Pre-K assistant teacher, my schedule is a little more structured, but I still have plenty of time to give your pets the love, attention, and care they deserve! I work Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, but I’m fortunate to live only about 5 minutes from work, which allows me to come home during my break. (I’m typically home between 12:00 PM–1:15 PM for potty breaks, fresh water, food refills, playtime, and some extra love and attention! 🥰) And no worries about your pets being left alone while I’m at work! 🐶🐱💕 I live with my parents, and they are home 24/7 and help me care for our furry guests while I’m at work. We even have some pups who love to sleep in, so they’ll sometimes happily curl up and cuddle in my parents’ room in the mornings 😂🐾 Outside of my work hours, I’m home ALL THE TIME! 🏡 That means your pets get plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, cuddles, potty breaks, and love throughout the day. I’m also happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and needs to make sure they feel comfortable and right at home. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, comfortable, and spoiled while you’re away! 🥰🐾 Your pup won’t just be staying with a sitter—they’ll be welcomed into our family! ❤️ We are a family of 6, and each one of us loves having furry guests around. Your pup will receive lots of love, attention, cuddles, and companionship from all of us throughout their stay. 🐾 Never alone or unsupervised There is always someone around to keep an eye on our furry guests. Even while I’m at work, my parents are home and help with potty breaks, supervision, and keeping them company. ❤️ We understand it can be hard to be away from home Some pups adjust right away, while others may need a little more time—especially those with anxiety or who are nervous in new environments. We never rush them or expect them to act a certain way. No pup is “too much” for us. Every dog is different, just like children, and we treat them that way. 🏡 Their routine matters Before their stay, I like to learn about their normal routine, personality, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. This makes the transition easier and helps them settle in at their own pace. After losing our own beloved pups, we decided not to bring another pup into our family after the heartbreak of loosing them, but we still wanted that love and companionship in our lives—which is why we opened our home to dog sitting. We’ve genuinely grown attached to many of our regular pups and love getting to know each one. 🥹❤️ Over time, caring for different breeds and personalities has taught us that every pup has their own little quirks, needs, and way of showing love. We truly enjoy getting to know them and making them feel like part of the family during their stay. Your pup’s comfort, safety, and happiness always come first. 🐶💕
“Arthur was wonderful. I would definitely use her to sit for Paddington again. I am hoping that she will stay in touch with us even if she is not sitting with my dog as she is a lovely person to know”
“Melanie Was great with our pets. They were well taken care of. It was like we never left. The “ kiddos” were like “ oh your home, that’s nice” and continued on there merry way like it was no big deal. She the house clean. She was very responsible and I would recommend her.💕”

“I was able to take a trip and relax…not worry about my girls, that says everything! She was with the dogs evenings and nights, followed the feeding regimen, held play time and let them sleep with her! I found Lori to be smart, dependable and trustworthy. She will be my go to for all future pet sitter needs!”

About: Military so I can’t guarantee 24/7 sitting... I also have a dog and cat. My cat needs to be introduced to the pet but my dog is chill as long as your pet are chill and doesn’t antagonize her. Pets are ok on furniture. I am mostly home if I’m not at work. I’m a homebody so I prefer to chill at home with my fur babies. My dog is about 12 years old, and my cat is about 7 years old. Both female and both fixed. I can guarantee that I’ll look after your fur babies just like if they are my own fur babies. I am about to start running/jogging again so your dog will get some workout too. If you have more questions feel free to message me I work on in the afternoon to about 7-8pm. My mornings is pretty free, I do walk .y own dog bella first thing in the morning after she ate. Then, if the weather is nice, let her outside in the backyard. I let her out one more time before I leave for work and let her come inside. Then I go home for lunch to check on her and let her out. Depending on my schedule, I may be able to take a quick break to go home and let her out again. I live in a house with a fenced backyard with plenty of yards and even a mini park that I will be walking/jogging with your fur baby.
“Jaden is friendly, professional, and trustworthy. She took care of my large dog in my home for several days without a problem. She kept me updated on how he was doing and sent photos. Very much appreciated!”

I've been caring for friends' and family's pets for about a year now and promise to be caring and loving for your pets too! I'll take care of your furry loved ones as if they were my own. Always sure to be attentive and responsible with my services. Taking them on potty breaks when needed. Feeding them on time. Giving them attention and love that they deserve. Making sure you feel at ease with any of my available services! Open availability at the moment as I have no main job currently and no other big responsibilities that will keep me from taking care of your four legged friends! I live in an apartment in the nice suburbs part of Galveston. We have an area downstairs in the courtyard to take dogs on walks and for potty breaks. Regarding both my home and my clients home, I will treat your loved ones as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, loved, cared for, and happy!
“Jodi was wonderful! She was communicative throughout our trip and sent us picture updates of our dog, which I really appreciated. She is very conscientious and considerate. Will definitely book with her again for our next trip away!”

About: I've lived in a dog owning household my entire life. I currently own a dachshund and a blue heeler. My heeler is my 12 year old baby. I work at a bank full time M-F in Wichita Falls. I'm looking for either weekend jobs sitting or evening jobs walking and playing during the week. My family has a privacy fence, and all of our dogs receive regular vaccinations from PETS. At your discretion we could let your dog play with the dachshund or they can outside time alone. If they need to be boarded we have a spare bedroom to keep any crate trained animals.

We're so glad we hired Jaden again to pet sit for us! She's absolutely wonderful with our babies and we feel so confident leaving them in her care. Jaden is reliable, trustworthy, and a true animal lover. Highly recommend her pet sitting services - we're already planning our next booking!

I was feeling very anxious, as this was my first time using Rover and having someone my pets didn't know watch them. However, Diana made everything run smoothly. She asked the right questions when we had our initial visit and was very understanding of my cat and dog. She provided me with updates and sent me pictures while I was gone, which really helped ease my mind as well. Thank you, Diana!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wichita Falls walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wichita Falls maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wichita Falls choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
