About: I have over 15 years of animal care experience, I grew up with dogs and cats. But I also have experience with turtles, rabbits, and chickens. I worked at a zoo in college and love animals of all shapes and sizes, I’ll always do my best to care for your animals! I’m currently a stay at home dad working on my masters degree. My schedule is fairly flexible, just let me know how I can help! I currently own a leopard gecko and a dachshund, I’m comfortable with almost any task and will do my very best to care for any and all critters you might have!
“Alyssa was fantastic with our dogs. She was willing to do so much for us while we were gone and she was more than happy to spend time with our very crazy and large dogs. She kept us updated on each visit which made us feel more comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Will definitely use her again!”

About: Animals have been a big part of my life for many years. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and other farm animals. Having owned dogs ranging from 4 to 125 pounds, I’m comfortable with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I can administer medications to most dogs and am happy to follow detailed instructions for feeding, exercise, and daily routines. I know how important consistency is for pets, and I work hard to care for them exactly as you would. I love taking photos and sending regular updates, so you’ll know your pet is happy, safe, and receiving plenty of attention while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care and give you peace of mind. I have recently retired from full-time employment as a teacher. I spend my free time with the animals on my small personal farm and volunteering with Save the Horses Rescue. I prefer to care for pets in their own environments, adhering closely to their regular routines and feeding. Keeping schedules structured minimizes stress for most animals. I understand the importance of a consistent diet, especially when owners are away.
“Ryan is the best! He takes awesome care of our rowdy and sometimes overwhelming boy without even blinking. I've never seen Peep warm up to someone so quickly. Thanks for being great, Ryan!”
“You won’t regret booking with Sadie. She’s a responsible mature young woman which obviously she loves taking care of animals. Today we had just a drop visit which is a prelude to when she will take care of our two kitties in a week for a week. Both my cats came up to her immediately and that doesn’t happen often. I feel confident my kitties are in good hands.”

“We have used Maya several times, she's great! We have an elderly cat that needs meds daily. It's so comforting to know when I'm not there I can rely on Maya to check on my old girl ♥️”
About: I have a deaf domestic short hair cat. Her name is Bean, she is 3 years old, and she loves shadows. I also grew up with two yellow labs, Nyla and Alyn (yes their names are the other spelled backwards don't ask). I am currently a Physical Therapy Doctoral student so I will be a part time service because my grades are important to me, but I am available for lots of play time, potty breaks, and long walks. My cat is a drama queen, so I would likely be unable to take your animal in. I am, however, available for walks, drops ins, etc.
About: Trusted by Family & Friends: Over the years, I’ve been the go to person for family and friends whenever they needed help caring for their dogs, whether for daily walks, feeding schedules, or overnight care. A Lifetime Around Animals: I’ve been caring for pets since I was very young. Loving and protecting animals has always been a natural part of who I am. Full Time & Dedication: Now that I have more time and flexibility, I’ve decided to dedicate my full potential to what I love most helping animals and supporting owners who need a reliable, caring hand. I live in a cozy house with a fully fenced backyard, giving your dog a safe and secure space to stretch their legs, play, and get fresh air. 100% Focused Attention (No Other Pets): I currently have no other pets in my home, meaning your dog will enjoy 100% of my attention without any stress, territory conflicts, or unexpected behavior from other. Your dog will have full access to a quiet, clean, and comfortable environment tailored to their daily routine.

“Valerie did an amazing job checking in on our two labs while we were camping. We had a few days when we could not take the dogs with us on our adventures, so we are thankful we had someone take of our fur babies for walks, to water them, and interact with them. She took pictures during each visit for us to see how they were doing. Our fur babies were well taken care of during these check-ins, and we will definitely use Valerie next time we camp in the area.”

About: I have owned and cared for pets for my whole life, including cats, dogs, fish and more. When I was growing up my family fostered German and Australian shepherds through K-9 Pet Rescue. I have also raised many litters of kittens and puppies, and ducklings as well! I am a very active person and would love to meet your pets! My schedule is 100% open, 24/7. I work from home and can accommodate any dates or times needed. I am happy to spend the time needed to provide companionship for your pet. I understand the importance of safety and security: indoor cats stay inside and leashed animals remain on leash at all times. I will treat your home and belongings with respect and care.
About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)
“Savanna was great! My regular sitter had an emergency and Savanna really helped me out. She was prompt and kind in all her communication. She was wonderful with my puppy Louie and I would 100% hire her again. Definitely recommend!”

I currently own 2 cats and they are what I consider my babies. Owning an animals is an every day commitment. They keep me going and my favorite part of the day is putting together their "fancy" dishes! I understand the importance of having someone reliable to watch your pet! I have 2 cats who are extremely friendly and welcoming. We have many toys, trees, and perches! I respect any boundaries and rules a client has for their specific baby!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a child, and over the years I’ve gained plenty of hands on experience including looking after a family of 13 poodles at once! I specialize in small and medium dogs, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, I treat every pup like family.😊 I’m available Monday through Friday, all day long, making it easy to fit into your pup’s routine. “If you’re looking for someone who is truly compassionate and dependable, Nicole is an outstanding choice. She took wonderful care of my dog, Max, during a drop‑in visit when I had to be away unexpectedly. Her calm, attentive approach made a noticeable difference — Max was relaxed and happy when I returned. The thoughtful photo update she sent was an added touch that gave me real peace of mind. Nicole is someone you can confidently trust with your pet’s well‑being.”

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
