About: Friends call my home a dog retreat and relaxation center. It's a quiet, country setting with room to run, plenty to explore, and comfortable lounging. I've been fostering dogs and puppies with Redwood Pals Rescue for years and am a vetted volunteer with the Humboldt County Animal Shelter. I'm happy to send you photos or videos of how your dog's doing and feel free to text/call for updates anytime. I work from home most of the time. Dogs love the country routine and seem to relax here. I live rurally, in Southern Humboldt, but can meet for drop-offs and pick-ups in the Redway/Garberville area or the Arcata/Eureka/McKinleyville area or anywhere in between. For stays less than 4 days, I'll ask that we add the pick-up/drop-off fee. I have a large fenced yard, dog doors to come in and out of the house, and different areas to keep dogs separate, if needed. I usually keep new dogs separated from mine till they get to know each other and show that they like each other. I also have baby gates and can use dog crates inside if needed. I have hosted a lot of foster dogs and puppies for the Rescue and retreats for dogs from the Animal Shelter and have participated in numerous trainings with professional animal trainers and behaviorists. I know when I have to be away from my dogs that they need a kind person to hang out with, some fun, and a comfortable place to hangout till I can come back for them.

About: I have always been an animal lover since childhood and have taken care of a variety of pets of all sizes! I've helped raise puppies, taken care of senior dogs, and helped train good walking, bathing, and bathroom habits. Most animals respond very well to me. Also being a bigger person I have no trouble dealing with larger dogs. Very experienced in all areas of pet care. I am at home this summer until my college classes start in the fall to continue my degree in early childhood education. Weekends or evenings are not a problem for house sitting. Drop by mid-day walks anytime I'm available! I have a lot of availability and would love to spend my time with animals giving them quality care and attention. I am more than happy to watch your pets while you are away on vacation or gone for the day. I Can do drop bys or overnights depending on your preference and your animals needs. I have a large fenced yard that is great for animals if you need boarding. I have reliable transportation to get to and from. I can take them on walks in your neighborhood or go to a local dog park if you prefer. Very open to working with what is best for your animal. I have my own dogs at home but will leave them there while caring for your animal(s) unless you would like the socializing. We have two friendly larger male dogs that love to meet new dogs if you are interested in doggy day care or boarding. Our home has a large size dog door for pets to access the house at their convenience.

About: I am a pharmacist, graduate of UCSF where I got my doctorate and UCLA. I recreationally board friends animals and would like to help others I work 4/7 days a week, so boarding can be worked around my schedule where I’m free afternoons and evenings and all day on days off. I need up to a 2 week notice for boarding or visits Fenced yard, outside and inside cameras, own my own home in a safe neighborhood and have neighbors and coworkers to help in a pinch anytime

I’ve had and fostered high intensity breeds and worked through many issues with positive reinforcement training. I’m available for pet sitting and boarding. Taking care of your furry companion/s is priority, having fostered several dogs I know what it takes to help them feel safe and relaxed as possible while they are in a new space. I’m experienced with giving medication, monitoring illness and injuries. and caring for wounds. I’ve had the honor of being with several of my own dogs through end of life and supporting a wide array of medical issues. My dog Ultra Violet is a happy, well trained, sweetie pie Dutch shepherd who gets along with dogs of all sizes and would be most happy to have the company of yours. We typically get out 3-4 times a day for walks, potty breaks and adventures. Depending on your dog’s activity level we also go running or can do shorter walks or use the dog run at our place. We have plenty of space for dogs to run free outside if they are not prone to running away, otherwise leash walks and nearby trails! At my place dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds, but if this is not appropriate for your bud we can make sure your preferred rules are upheld. Enjoy yourself while knowing your friend and family member is safe and having a grand time with me and UV! Work from home flexibility to accommodate your needs. My doggie schedule is typically morning, noon, afternoon and evening walks and/or potty breaks. I love getting outdoors with my dog! Spacious, clean and danger free home away from home. Access to the great outdoors! There are no other animals besides my dog. Animals are our teachers. I adore animals of all kinds with extra fondness of dogs of course! My mission is to provide as much love, kindness, and confidence boosting to the dogs I care for as possible. I love learning how each one communicates, watching them light up and sharing in their joy. I’m experienced in administering medications, and taking care of Doggos from puppies to seniors.

About: I’ve watched animals for more than half of my life, and I will continue to help those who don’t have enough time to care for their furry friends! I’ve always had pets, just a part of the daily routine. Helps me get out of bed in the morning, and helps to go to sleep. If brought to my home, I have plenty of room for them to explore and play around in. But I rather be in the comfort of the animals own home, a place they feel safe.
